My son used my car and he supposedly park in a fire lane. I've seen pictures and the signage is not very good and red fire lane is faded. Evidently lake Georgetown is run by the US Army Corp. So car was towed by Cen-Tex and my wife had to go get my son and drive him to get car out of the tow lot. The tow was $300, what a ridiculous amount to rip people off! Also they damaged my car in 3 places. I called and spoke a Les, says he towed the car and adamantly denied he did the damage. My son doesn't lie to us and he paid the outrageous bill from his money! What gets me is this guy damaged the vehicle and then denies it. He knows he damaged it and blames my son for it. Avoid this company at all cost! read more

I've used this business on 3 separate occasions and I felt that it was time to leave a review. The gentleman that run this towing business are very prompt and polite. Each time I had to have my car towed, they responded within the hour. Although I've never used any other towing business, I've heard the horror stories about how much it costs, but these guys are, in my opinion, very reasonable. If you need a tow and not sure who to call, do yourself a HUGE favor and call Cen-Tex. I needed to tow my car 1/4 mile to my house and called a competitor on Williams Dr....they quoted $130. I was desperate but decided to try Cen-Tex and their price was $60!!! AND Phillip was there in 20 minutes flat. He maneuvered around cars in HEB parking lot like lightening and even backed our car into our garage. These are two hard working brothers that deserve your business. read more

My transmission went out on the way out to Dallas in Georgetown from San Marcos. I had my girlfriend look up towing places online and Les had the best reviews so she calls Les and he offered the best price and my girlfriend said he liked how professional he was. About 10 minutes later he came right away and picked me up at the gas station. Very friendly and professional, he introduced himself, and took me back with a long drive back to Dallas. Les incredibly smart and a great story teller from his vast experience from being a Volunteer fireman, starting his company, a great family man and funny as hell. On top of that he cares very much about the service he provides and the prices are very fair and honest. Can't recommend this guy enough. He also helps with unlocking your car. read more

My wife and I had a day trip in Salado and as we were leaving late Sat afternoon our car had mechanical failure and couldn't be driven home. Fortunately had AAA but first tow company they called out of Temple wasn't willing to drive us home to Waxahachie, 120 miles away. We were ready to give up hope and resigned ourselves that we may have to stay the night and figure it out on Sunday but our luck turned for the better as AAA got hold of CEN-TEX Towing. Les was great. His truck was clean and comfortable especially for my wife who is 21 weeks pregnant. Very professional, good conversation, the two hours home flew by.
