Had these guys tow two vehicles of mine and I was out of town at the time. The guy's son. I guess his name is whatever said he'd take care of it. No problem. The problem was my stereo system was gone when it got to the storage unit. Given it's a really nice stereo system and that the car didn't have a battery in it and the only way to open up the back hatch is with the battery connected. Since it's electric latch. I know for a fact these guys jacked my stereo system and took advantage of the situation cuz I wasn't even in town and wasn't back anytime soon. I do not recommend these guys because obviously they're thieves there also was an occasion with these guys about 10 years ago where they put my truck up on the back of their flatbed but their winch cable broke and my truck fell off the truck and then the guy tried to charge me for a new winch cable. Thieves criminals. Whatever you want to call them. Do not use these guys. Your stuff will be gone through and taken if the opportunity should arise for them. I live right by this business and I have been looking every single day when I drive by. They always have a vehicle on a truck in the back and that young dude is going through them. I was stuck between a high raised curb. Could not go backwards and no way going forwards. Tim Babcock came faster than expected. I Just gave them a call to let them know I was truly stuck, and color of my LT. Laughs came how did I do that? Only at uneven parking lot could one do that. While traveling to Austin my vehicle broke down in Round Rock in the fast lane during early morning rush hour traffic and while it was raining, yeah I know tell me about it. Lol. Called them, told them my situation and they sent out a tow truck and had me of the highway and towed me to Austin in a timely manner and charged me a very competitive price. My insurance company dispatched Double R Towing to help my family after a minor collision this morning. Charles arrived 20 minutes EARLY. Charles was very friendly and worked very quickly. When you call a tow truck you are normally stuck on the side of the road, hot, and pissed off. I called these guys and the person on the phone was fairly friendly, and he told me the truck would be there in about 30 minutes. True to his word, about 25 minutes later, the tow truck pulled up. I called this morning about 9:45 because my car wouldn't start. The guy that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. He mentioned that will actually jump your car and it that didn't work then they would tow to the location I asked. He said if the car didn't start they would only charge for the towing. He said that all the guys were out on calls ( I expected because of the time) and that it would be a little bit before he could get out. It was an hour before he called which was fine. I was actually taking my husband back to work and the guy had to wait ten minutes for me ( SORRY!!!). I felt really bad but the tow truck driver was very nice and said it was okay. His name was Armando Guzman I believe, and he was extremely nice. He explained to me about why my battery was having issues ( lots of corrosion) and that I should go straight away to have it replaced. He said if for some reason the car didn't make it to the shop to call back and they would come get me no problem. I hope to not in the near future have to get a tow or jump again but if i do i will definitely call them again. read more

I had an amazing experience today with Double R Towing. I had my car break down and I called on a sunday afternoon and learned from the very friendly person on the line that there was no additional charge for tows on the weekend. Already impressed. They gave me an estimate of 35 minutes to arrive, and were there in under 30. I thought I had a problem with my alternator, as my car refused to start even after being jumped, so my reason for calling was to have my vehicle towed to my mechanic. When he arrived the driver asked me what the problem with my car was, and he used his own battery equiptment to test my battery. He was able not only to start my car but also diagnosed that I needed a new battery! Furthermore he only charged me a $57 roadside assistance rate, saving me tons of money. I feel that most tow companies would have just hooked my car up and done the expensive tow rather than actually help me fix my car! Double R deserves a lot of credit for going so above and beyond in service. Very professional and friendly, I'll be sure to call on them again if I ever need a tow or other roadside assistance. read more

These guys are wonderful! Our Dodge Viper broke down early morning before a parade on the 4th of July. The man who answered my call was very friendly and helpful. They arrived earlier than the 45mins we were quoted. Even with the roads blocked for the parade. They were very professional in handling the loading and unloading of our low profile car. That was a huge relief! The pricing was very fair. We weren't charged extra for it being a holiday. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys.
