Double R Towing - Towing Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

I was stuck between a high raised curb. Could not go backwards and no way going forwards. Tim Babcock came faster than expected. I Just gave them a call to let them know I was truly stuck, and color of my LT. Laughs came how did I do that? Only at uneven parking lot could one do that. In just a second The LT was on even ground. No harm thank goodness. All was well. Many thanks Tim. You are the best. I have dealt with others in the towing business. Some just don't care what they do as long as you get your car out. Tim, you cared and thank you for that. May Long Horns win every game!! Hook-EM- Horns. Thank You, Fellow Long Horn Fan to another J.J.S. read more

Had these guys tow two vehicles of mine and I was out of town at the time. The guy's son. I guess his name is whatever said he'd take care of it. No problem. The problem was my stereo system was gone when it got to the storage unit. Given it's a really nice stereo system and that the car didn't have a battery in it and the only way to open up the back hatch is with the battery connected. Since it's electric latch. I know for a fact these guys jacked my stereo system and took advantage of the situation cuz I wasn't even in town and wasn't back anytime soon. I do not recommend these guys because obviously they're thieves there also was an occasion with these guys about 10 years ago where they put my truck up on the back of their flatbed but their winch cable broke and my truck fell off the truck and then the guy tried to charge me for a new winch cable. Thieves criminals. Whatever you want to call them. Do not use these guys. Your stuff will be gone through and taken if the opportunity should arise for them. I live right by this business and I have been looking every single day when I drive by. They always have a vehicle on a truck in the back and that young dude is going through them. Be careful with these guys read more

Very professional and the quoted price was honored with no surprises. Was able to pull out from a tight parking spot with a crowded lot. read more

While traveling to Austin my vehicle broke down in Round Rock in the fast lane during early morning rush hour traffic and while it was raining, yeah I know tell me about it. Lol. Since I had some time to spare, I got on Yelp and found Double R Towing. Called them, told them my situation and they sent out a tow truck and had me of the highway and towed me to Austin in a timely manner and charged me a very competitive price. If your stranded due to vehicle breakdown in the area definitely give these guys a call. Plus the tow truck driver was professional, fast and very personable. read more

The person that helped me was very nice. I had to leave my car on the shoulder of the highway and he was able to get my car to me in less than an hour and drop it off right were I wanted it. The price for towing is reasonable, no complaints at all. Thank you very much! read more

Charles was dispatched by my insurance to pick up my vehicle from a dealership to a privately owned shop. While the dealership and group1 collision had him waiting with loose ends that had nothing to do with him, he was patient and waited for my vehicle. He had no obligation to do so. I'm very grateful for his patience and kindness. We never talked, but he was a light for me in a really stressful situation! Thank you guys. read more

Couldn't have had a better experience. When other company's wouldn't come out for a late night, Tim and team made the long trip from Round Rock to Leander to help us out. Very professional and even tried to help fix the car and avoid a tow. Best part of a bad night for sure. Thanks to Double R towing for stepping up! read more

When you call a tow truck you are normally stuck on the side of the road, hot, and pissed off. I called these guys and the person on the phone was fairly friendly, and he told me the truck would be there in about 30 minutes. True to his word, about 25 minutes later, the tow truck pulled up. The guy was really fast and friendly. I had called 3 tow truck companies before I got to these guys, and they were the cheapest, too. read more

I had a vehicle towed from them yesterday and I must say, it was very pleasant doing business with them. The guy on the phone was friendly and so helpful. I changed the plan (twice no less) and every interaction was very good. When the driver made it here he was quick, friendly, and even put the vehicle right where I needed it. They even have a website lol The cost was tolerable as well :) read more

I ended up not even using their service, but I still had a great experience. I made arrangements to tow a car that wouldn't start, and when I went to leave the key in the car, I tried one more time and it started. I called back, expecting the guy to be a little irritated at me for wasting his time, but he was very friendly and we laughed about it together. Plus, the price they quoted was very reasonable. When I need a tow again, I will be calling Double R. read more

My insurance company dispatched Double R Towing to help my family after a minor collision this morning. Charles arrived 20 minutes EARLY. Charles was very friendly and worked very quickly. It only took 45 minutes to load our car, take it to the body shop 11 miles away and unload the car. I hope I don't need to use a tow truck again but I will DEFINITELY use Double R. read more

Car wasn't starting and I couldn't figure out why. Armando showed up, but before loading it up, he asked a few questions, made a suggestion and the car started. It says a lot when people go out of their way to help you instead of just taking your money. read more

I used this company to first get my car battery jump start and then get towed to the dealership(check out my review on Charles Maund Toyota service) through my car insurance. I liked this company. The technicians they sent are knowledgeable, honest, and nice. Also, they respond quickly. If you need towing service contact them: read more

I called this morning about 9:45 because my car wouldn't start. The guy that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. He mentioned that will actually jump your car and it that didn't work then they would tow to the location I asked. He said if the car didn't start they would only charge for the towing. He said that all the guys were out on calls ( I expected because of the time) and that it would be a little bit before he could get out. It was an hour before he called which was fine. I was actually taking my husband back to work and the guy had to wait ten minutes for me ( SORRY!!!). I felt really bad but the tow truck driver was very nice and said it was okay. His name was Armando Guzman I believe, and he was extremely nice. He explained to me about why my battery was having issues ( lots of corrosion) and that I should go straight away to have it replaced. He said if for some reason the car didn't make it to the shop to call back and they would come get me no problem. I hope to not in the near future have to get a tow or jump again but if i do i will definitely call them again. read more

I I can't thank them enough! The guy figured out what was wrong with my car, got it me! Even gave me a helpful suggestion on what to tell the dealership so I wouldn't get charged for the diognostics fee. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Just got my sons car towed. The guy who picked it up was amazing!!!!Thanks Aramondo Gomez.Great company!Mrs.White

I had an amazing experience today with Double R Towing. I had my car break down and I called on a sunday afternoon and learned from the very friendly person on the line that there was no additional charge for tows on the weekend. Already impressed. They gave me an estimate of 35 minutes to arrive, and were there in under 30. I thought I had a problem with my alternator, as my car refused to start even after being jumped, so my reason for calling was to have my vehicle towed to my mechanic. When he arrived the driver asked me what the problem with my car was, and he used his own battery equiptment to test my battery. He was able not only to start my car but also diagnosed that I needed a new battery! Furthermore he only charged me a $57 roadside assistance rate, saving me tons of money. I feel that most tow companies would have just hooked my car up and done the expensive tow rather than actually help me fix my car! Double R deserves a lot of credit for going so above and beyond in service. Very professional and friendly, I'll be sure to call on them again if I ever need a tow or other roadside assistance. read more

Called because my stepdaughter's car needed a tow from the side of the road, Double R Towing showed up within 20 minutes of my call, just as they said, and the driver was extremely helpful and courteous. Charged a reasonable fee and took care of getting the car to a service location. read more

These guys are wonderful! Our Dodge Viper broke down early morning before a parade on the 4th of July. The man who answered my call was very friendly and helpful. They arrived earlier than the 45mins we were quoted. Even with the roads blocked for the parade. They were very professional in handling the loading and unloading of our low profile car. That was a huge relief! The pricing was very fair. We weren't charged extra for it being a holiday. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. The best words to describe them would be: friendly, reliable, professional, fair, & honest. read more
