There's "store" is a good set up, but it will be nice when the new stadium is built and there's an actual store to go to instead of a stand. My husband and I acquired tickets to see Creighton vs DePaul women's basketball game recently. The…read moregame started at 2pm and we got there just around there. It took us a few minutes to find parking, but ended up with a metered street parking that was a lot cheaper than the $10 lot that was only marginally closer to the arena. When we got to the arena, the game had already started, so there were no long lines and getting in was a breeze. The stadium itself is small (though no shortage of Creighton Bluejays fans), so it wasn't too much of a hassle to find our area and seats. The seats were good, the arena was clean, and the game was enjoyable! During halftime, we stretched out our legs and walked around the stadium. There were a couple food and drinks vendors along with team merch. Both my husband and I were surprised by the $4 pretzel and cheese as it's usually much more expensive at these types of events, so of course we had to indulge a little. I really appreciated the free little packets of sliced jalapeños at the condiment station - I put some in my cheese sauce. The pretzel was very very salty and I had to brush a lot of the salt away, but apart from that I really have no complaints. The canned drinks were a little on the expensive side, as expected. Overall we had a good time and the Bluejays winning was just the cherry on top!

This review is more about the venue than the show, as the show was a one-night event. Reviewing that would be useless. Seats: There's not really a bad seat in the house. A small balcony overlooks roughly 15 rows of seats. The venue is fairly intimate with the stage. Seats are comfortable and there is a good amount of legroom. Acoustics: Our event did not use amplification or microphones. The sound in the 4th row was pretty weak when the violinists began playing. Acoustics were not great, but passable. Ambiance: The interior and much of the foyer is a modern attempt to recreate a Roman or Greek amphitheater. It's interesting. Check in: There's no real ticket window, so people tend to gaggle toward whatever tables are set up for check in. Food/drink: There's no real concession setup. The team at the theater had coolers for drinks. We ordered a beer, Coke, and water for $15. The beer was Coors, the Coke was warm, the water was a mini water and warm. Pretty poorly executed. Policy: They posts signs requiring law abiding citizens give up their rights at the door. (The policy does not impact criminals.) Thus, the venue makes you a sitting duck.

It's nice that it's free admission but I implore you to donate what you can to help keep these exhibits open. I attended the common senses festival last year and it was so beautiful to see how they were accommodating folks to see these interactive exhibits. The staff is really friendly, and chatty and can share a lot more anecdotes to some of the displays. Looking forward to checking out the next exhibit there.

I get a good chuckle talking with people who boast of working options, cryptocurrencies and other fairly volatile and risky angles. Spanning decades with experience...... It's just a matter of time before their successes shakeout with them wounded... Possibly set back for life. The vast majority of conservative investors rarely get truly wounded... And it's almost impossible for conservative investors to get set back negative for life. That's the difference... At any rate, the spirit and vibe were interesting with practices. I would endorse. A great festival for Shareholders to attend at least once. The event is festival seating which…read morerequires attendees to show up 2-3 hours prior to doors opening at 7 am. We were lucky to get seats in section 225 only because a group that had reserved seats there were moving to a different section just as we are arriving. If you are willing to miss the 8:30 am movie and just go to the 2nd Q&A session which start after lunch at 1pm, there will be no lines and all doors are wide open at that time. You will be able to sit in any section you choose as a lot of people leave at lunch time. This is not a friendly event for small children and people with disability. The shopping event Friday is fun and festive to attend. Downtown Omaha is nice and safe to walk around.

We came recently to experience Omaha Symphony + guest conductor Christopher Allen + guest violinist Francisco Fullana play Johann Strauss II, Montgomery, and Stravinsky's Firebird. There was an "after party" where we were able to stay to listen to Christopher Allen on the piano and Fullana on the violin play a few pieces. I'm glad we stayed to experience it! There's a large area on the second floor where tables and chairs are set up for conversations and presentations. The check in and security was smooth and simple, they have metal detectors which I appreciate for safety. We had lots of help from the patrons to help us find our seats. My husband surprised me with 2nd row seats for the show, it was amazing being that close to the performance! The drinks were just okay. I wanted a coffee at intermission and when I asked what coffee they serve, she said "decaf," which is as a little annoying. I want to stay awake which is the purpose of coffee, and I still don't know if it's a good coffee or simple Folgers. We opted to share a glass of Chardonnay, served in a plastic cup with a lid. It felt like I was a toddler sipping from the cup, so I probably wouldn't get a drink to have during a presentation again.

This garden is a beautiful addition to this area by the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts…read more There had been some really weirdly not-useful parking lots here. This is a great replacement. I - well, I do hate to complain about free amenities, but I will anyway - the hours for this place are kind of strange. I think 9am - 6pm. So people who work, even in the downtown area, are not really able to visit. So that is a huge drawback which really does make their usage of the term "public garden" seem inappropriate. I am HOPING that in the future there will be longer hours of operation. I do also have to say that the garden was awkward to visit during the hot days in summer as there are no shade structures and no mature trees. So it would have been really pleasant in the early morning or evening if it was open then. It has kind of an unfinished feeling right now because the design did not include a fence, and apparently it needs a fence, so a somewhat unsightly temporary fence is still in place. But, sometimes these things just take time to develop. There is a lot of seating, and there are public bathrooms and a drinking fountain; all these things had been missing from this area and they are definitely appreciated! With the development in the Little Bohemia creative district, this is a really nice way to (almost) tie it to the Old Market neighborhood.
