I came in here with a group on Sunday night and we had a blast! Typically when you go to club or dance spots, a lot of your experience depends on who you go with, so either I had a phenomenal group or Bushwackers was having a great night! The atmosphere is great, and the place was packed for a Sunday. Bushwackers has a walled in dance floor which can get a little crowded during line dances but most of the time there is plenty of space. There are two bars where you can grab drinks and the mechanical bull looked like a great time! There is a lot of two stepping here mixed in with line dancing and swing dancing and they have lessons on Wednesday and Thursday nights if you want to learn more about the different dances. It's not expensive to get in, and we really enjoyed our time together. It's also great to have the whole entire place singing their guts out to journey and nickleback at least once every night! We didn't get any drinks, so I can't speak for the service at all! Wins: fun environment Not expensive Plenty of drink options ... what else do you need? Not my favorite: I personally wish there were lessons everynight since I can't go during the week, but that's just because I'm learning! It's packed, so if you're trying to get drinks, you're going to have to be bold.

Bushwacker line dancers?

Well it used to be a friendly place till the DJ invited the 30 hells angels up on stage to pose for a picture last night.

No wonder We can't get any service here.. Our server has been busy on the dance floor all night! :-( what a disappointment !

Saturday... at 9pm and we are listening to 1960s-1970s country. Ask for a little newer and Dj is rude.

After 11 p.m., there's usually a line to get in, and there's typically a $10 cover charge. One downside is that they only accept cash, so there's often a line at the ATM as well. Dj could be better though! There are two different dance floors, plus a nice, spacious patio with a fountain. Overall, it's always good vibes here, and it's a great place for a fun night out!

Yes, it's changed some - but pretty much all in positive ways! Loved the music and vibes. The bartenders were friendly. Drinks were crazy cheap by Vegas standards. As an older guy now, the most surprising thing was how many college-age straight-ish folkz there were (can't know for sure, of course - but that's what it looked like) It warms my heart to see how friendly, open, and accepting that crowd is. Keep Leading the Charge, Omaha! That being said, I feel that we're losing spaces where just gay men hang out. I miss the sexy, cruisey, brotherly vibe of some of the old haunts. Still, it's a fair trade to see so many ages, genders, and presentations all having fun together. My husband - who is born & raised in Las Vegas - where we live - said "Why do I have to travel to Omaha to hang out in a really great gay bar?!" WTF, Vegas?! Times change, but The Max is eternal!

Their house DJ and booking team know exactly who their audience are and how to get them dancing. It's a very clean club, with a wide open dance floor, and excellent variety of drinks (they specialize in shots - shots shots shots shots). I go there on Friday and Saturday nights and recommend getting there early on Saturday as there will be a line (it moves fast though). The crowd is a very friendly and energized diverse mix of local and international students in their twenties, as well as tourists and folks visiting Lincoln for the weekend. It is one of the BEST run clubs of its size that I've been to particularly because of how safe it is. The security are very friendly and down to earth, but also are laser focused on making sure everyone has a good time without any issues. From what I've noticed, for women, this is one of the safest venues in Lincoln. It's amazing for events - birthdays and celebrations - I hosted my birthday here with a group of 8 guys and girls and had a blast. For those of you specifically reading this to find this out - YES, there's room to dance in this club and people do get down. Whether you've been dancing for years or are just starting out, Junction is very much the place to have fun with other dancers. Expect to see spontaneous dance circles break out - so much fun! Whether you know the moves (or not) to Drake or Taylor Swift or Cardi B or The Weeknd's latest - or a Britney or Adam Levine classic - you'll have fun at Junction. If you want to have a chill night with friends, crave to get crazy and hyped up by the crowd but need to a drink or three to get started, or are already a dance machine out there that can't stop, won't stop, addicted to the music (hi, Alex!), there's something there for you at Junction. Highly recommended!

Kudos to the Staff! And food was excellent! The seating was perfect. Convenient elevator to get from the lower level to the 2nd when you are carrying food and drinks back to your seat. Need to know something? Just ask anyone of the ushers there and they will have a friendly answer! Everything is nice and clean and friendly there. I have no idea what the ones who are complaining about how they got treated. Maybe it wasn't the staff who had the problem! Parking was only $5.00 can you believe that? try to find that kind of a deal downtown like that! Plus it is right across the street from it! And it was a breeze to get out of as they people directing traffic to keep it moving. If I could give them a higher rating I would! I look forward to many more concerts at the The Astro Theater! Can't wait to try one of their outdoor ones in the Amphitheater too! Great job you are doing there Astro! Keep it up!

Too, the line is odd, as it's only one person screening IDs for booze wristbands. We decided they don't need our bar money. Skipped on those, and went to the entry area, which has multiple entry lines. The sound is great. The light show is odd, given that it's still light out at 7pm in July. The headliner might be able to properly utilize them, though. The stage is close enough to see facial expressions from the 200s, which is great. Out here, the singer can easily walk down to the audience. He did, too. Parking is the same for indoor and outdoor seating. It's close to the event, and it's only $5. We'd previously been to the indoor theater, and liked it better. Not as hot, nor as sunny, either. I see apartments next to the amphitheater. That must be rough. There need to be more restaurants near this location. We're glad we like one of the few.
