Five stars! They truly made my daughter's dream wedding come true. She wanted an intimate affair with family and friends. Rachelle helped to make this happen and facility was top notch. (Don't let the lobby scare you, ballrooms are beautiful!!) Decoration, linens, lighting, setup, and cleanup all included! We used our caterer, Dj, brought our own alcohol and she recommended an excellent bartender At the end of night only took home food, our extra decorations and beverages. They helped use get out the door in 1/2 hour!!! Even had a few rowdy guest and they handle it very professional. I am grateful for my whole experience with Simply Ballroom. Well Done! read more

I just had my wedding June 22, 2019, at Simply Ballroom. Rachelle helped me SO much on Saturday, and she really helped calm my nervous, anxious self - I had an amazing night, and I think my guests did too (idk I was too busy dancing my tail off in the beautiful lighting of the venue hahaha). I truly appreciated this venue, their recommended bartender Jordan, and Rachelle's husband, SOOO much! They all worked together to create a beautiful space and atmosphere suited to my day! Dont even mention you want your dream decoration because she won't let you get it. awful communication. She canceled our event the day before, we tried to contact her by email,phone and text messages and she never reach back to us. We went and the husband was very rude to us, yelling at us. I'm not sure if she is racist or what! plus she kept our money (all of it full amount) even the one for security even tho event was canceled and security did not work for that day. Plus she was trying to book another event for our day! that is fraud, and we have the text messages she sent to the other lady, calls and emails we send trying to contact her. Thank God we found a place for my sister's quinciañera. PLEASE if this venue is your only option make sure you read carefully everything before signing if you have kids mainly, because she doesn't do well with kids running around in a party ....this place is just perfect for a funeral or a retirement party. I took a few lessons with my wife there. We bought a package that was a great deal to get started. Rachelle our instructor was awesome and it was clear she loved what she was doing. After our package was up We either had to do personal lessons which I thought was a little high or take the group classes. We learned towards the group classes but either they were to far along in the class to let us in or the new classes they were starting in my opinion were not very popular or well known for our area. Because of this we decided to look elsewhere because we really wanted to focus on salsa dancing. read more

My fiancé and I did (entry level) dance lessons to prepare for our first dance as Mr. and Mrs. It was WAY better than anything I expected. My husband who was dreading it, actually enjoyed it. Not only was it perfect to practice to our song and learn some moves, turns, etc., but Alex was an amazing instructor. He is clearly passionate about dance, and had not hesitation about spending a quick 1:1 opportunity with either my husband or I to perfect a move. Hanging out with Alex during lessons, was as comfortable as being with a friend. We felt like we could totally be ourselves! The final comment I would make is that this turned out to be a really fun and personal "date night" time for my husband and I. The classes are fun but the way they are scheduled you can't really build on the last lesson. The people who go are super nice but there are definitely not enough men going to be able to practice what you learn. I am still trying to find a ballroom home. read more

Simply ballroom is by far the best studio to go to in Omaha! Both Instructors Rachelle and Alex are as talented as they are friendly. If you go into their studio with a lot of experience or none at all they will make you feel comfortable learning all while having a great time. They take the time to teach you proper ballroom and Latin dancing steps, you won't be pushed through the steps when you're dancing like other studios have done with me before, they do the steps first so you can mimic them then they do them with you (you don't feel hurried to get them done). I would recommend the group classes first then you can utilize the private lessons to really hone your skills. The dance parties are also great for meeting other dance students and getting more practice in. read more
