Jordan was amazing!! He DJ'ed our wedding and crushed it! He listened to us, was always responsive, and even helped set up candles and other table items when he had down time during the ceremony. He was so nice, timely, and had the dance floor going all night. couldn't have asked for better energy and getting the party going. highly recommend! read more

Jordan is wonderful. For one, he's a good listener. Every aspect of what we asked for was handled perfectly. Ours was a wedding event and we did not realize how much work we were asking of him until the actually wedding when we saw all the things he had to do. There was the ceremony at one end of the Durham Museum that required mic's and speakers, there was dinner served in the middle of the museum floor the required background music, and then there was dancing at the other end of the museum. He handled all that masterfully, and he was a great DJ for the dancing part. It was an older crowd so we didn't want anything too glitzy and he handled that perfectly. There is a reason EVERY review is giving him 5 stars. Is that a first for Yelp? I don't know but he certainly deserves it. read more

Jordan and rebirth entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding!! He was extremely easy to work with and did a great job facilitating the whole event. He knows how to get the party going and the photo booth was a huge hit! Highly recommend read more

My wife and I were married 10/20/2016 at Mt. Woodson Castle and had DJ Rebirth DJ our wedding. I feel so blessed that DJ Rebirth was the one we chose. He did an amazing job and made our wedding that much more special. He was very professional and is very talented at what he does. He is upbeat and keeps the crowd involved and entertained. He was flawless the entire night. No hiccups, everything went perfect and we couldn't be more thankful. He was not only our DJ, he also supplied the uplighting, cake pinspot, Photobooth (with helper the whole night), a video screen with projector, multiple microphones, etc. He was the total package and we appreciated coordinating with just one person. We had SO many complements about how well he did and how helpful he was. Everyone from the Mt. Woodson staff, to the videographer and photographer, to the guests; they were all so impressed with how professional he was. We had a harder crowd to please, as my family is from conservative northern california and my wife's family is heavily hispanic. he had both parties involved and dancing all night. he uses DJ intelligence, which we pick songs that help guide him on what to play. But the selection was really all on him. He played great stuff and we had a great time. i would choose him 1,000 times over (hopefully i only get married once though). Thanks DJ Rebirth for everything! You made our wedding! I'm impressed and so proud how far you have came in your professional career. Rock On! \m/ \m/ read more

Bottom line, JORDAN IS AWESOME!! I'm so happy we booked with Rebirth Entertainment for our wedding on May 14th! He made everything so easy! I found out about Jordan through a great friend of mine and I'm so happy it worked out. Whenever I needed help, he was there with suggestions and answers for me. There wasn't a time were I was sitting (except for eating my dinner) since such good songs came on one by one! We had a full dance floor most of the time. He really knows what he is doing. Everyone had such a great time. read more

This past Saturday, September 17th the American Heart Association had its 25th Anniversary Heart & Stroke Walk. I am the coordinator for this event and we have about 10,000 walkers per year, thus it is key to have a stellar DJ. Fortunately for us, Jordan truly set the tone for an amazing event. He was punctual, easy (and fun) to work with, and overall a blast. The American Heart Association was honored to have Jordan as the official main stage DJ for such a special and impactful event. We are looking forward to working with him for years to come! Thank you Jordan, you truly made this event fun and special for everyone who participated! read more

I have a long history working with DJ Rebirth, aka Jordan. Most recently, the graduation party planning committee at our grad school hired Jordan two years in a row. He drove all the way to LA and then again to Riverside to make sure we were well taken care of. Quotes: Jordan provides detailed, accurate and reliable quotes. He invoiced us for the exact amount that was quoted each time. Music: His music selection is quite large and he's able to mix and mash up just about anything. He also works with clients to customize their music needs based on the expected audience Video and effects: Jordan's got an awesome setup which includes a 9' x 6' spandex screen and a 2400 lumen (rear) projector, and HD (1080p) music videos. Invoicing/Follow up: Jordan is very professional and manages billing extremely well. He also makes sure his clients are satisfied through diligent follow up Conclusion: All in all, I highly recommend Jordan's services. From start to finish, you are likely going to have an epic experience. read more

I've had the pleasure in attending events where DJ Rebirth spins and working with him, and I've got to say that this guy knows what he's doing. Your party is in great hands with Rebirth Entertainment. DJ Rebirth definitely makes a celebration complete. He has excellent taste in music, you can tell he understands look and feel when it comes to events. He's got a wide selection of songs, beats, and insane/good concoctions. To create a vivid ambiance, he's got brilliant lighting and sleek video production and setups. As a professional, he's easy to work with, thinks of every last detail, understands the mission and delivers. I follow him around like a sad little party puppy, every month I have to look up where he'll be and I bring a group to hear him play and to consider his production services! read more

Rebirth Entertainment. Went to a couple of their events. Nothing to really complain about. I know music, and when I hear a beat skipped, I'm usually the first to notice. Let's just say, the only time I was OFF the dance floor, when I needed to buy another drink. HA! You won't be disappointed! Professional and can still keep the crowd pumped =) read more

We had Rebirth Entertainment setup a Karaoke Room at a Corporate Holiday Party and was a HUGE HIT! Jordan was very professional to work with in the planning stages as well as on-site. He has an excellent setup and his equipment is top of the line. We had a full light show with the Karaoke with made the room look great. I would highly recommend DJ Rebirth for any DJ, lighting, or Karaoke needs. You won't be disappointed. read more

Seriously I could not have asked for a better DJ or experience from Jordan! He was seriously amazing!!! He not only is super professional, but he also makes you feel like your event is the only one he is doing that year (lol). He played the best music and was very accommodating for my wedding guests for specific songs to be played! He kept my floor popping all night!!! Everyone at my wedding shared with me how awesome the music was, the lighting, and how awesome he was! He was very helpful and was very happy how quick his responses were too me every time I had a question or concern! Thank you for making my wedding super special and amazing! What can I say, Jordan was amazing. Our wedding was such an awesome experience and Jordan really made it exceed my wildest expectations. From the beginning Jordan was easy to communicate with. We had to reschedule due to COVID and he accommodated us without hesitation. The day of the wedding he was early and everything went off without a hitch. The music was awesome and kept the dance floor going all night. He even had to deal with one of our guests being obnoxious and he took it in stride and I didn't even know about it until the next day. Ultimate professional. If you want a great DJ experience, this is your man. Thank again Jordan for helping make our wedding a day to remember. read more

Jordan did our wedding on February 20th and I am so happy with his work. His whole setup was easy and fun and he was such a cool guy to talk to. He was recommended to us by a friend of mine who has known him for a long time and I had been to a party he had DJ'd, so I knew that he would be a good fit for our wedding. I tried to be picky about my music selections but I was planning a wedding in 2 months and it got away from me, so I didn't get to pick every bit of music for every second of my wedding, but I didn't need to worry. I gave Jordan a few guidelines and he filled them perfectly. My only complaint isn't really a complaint, but everytime my husband and I sat down to rest, Jordan put up ANOTHER excellent song that we HAD to get up and dance to. We had so much fun thanks to Jordan and all of our guests and nothing but great things to say. People are still telling me how much fun they had and I know I owe a lot of that to Jordan. read more

Jordan DJ'd for my friend's birthday party, and his light show and mix were awesome! Almost hard to believe all that is mobile. He also provided karaoke, which was a popular form of entertainment for some of the drunker chicks at the party. ;) read more

I have worked with Rebirth Entertainment (DJ Rebirth / Jordan) for a long time, and have witnessed him entertain many different kinds of events. These events range everywhere from sweet 16's, to high school dances (both formal and informal), to dance clubs, to weddings and corporate events. Rebirth Entertainment doesn't "generalize" any aspect of the business, and never fails to make clients feel as if it is THEIR event. Many people in the entertainment industry may come off as smug or difficult to level with, but Jordan doesn't give off the "I'm famous" vibe that a lot of other DJ's do. From start to finish, he goes out of his way to make sure his clients feel comfortable. He knows exactly how to personalize each event to ensure that his clients are 100% satisfied, while still staying completely professional and "real." He is really friendly and easy to work with, and definitely goes the extra mile for his clients. He offers many different forms of communication, and is always available for questions, special requests, and any other concerns that his clients might have. He even meets with his clients before the event, to make sure that everyone is on the same page, and all of the clients' needs are met. In terms of the events themselves, Rebirth Entertainment specializes in top of the line equipment (music, video, lighting, etc). Clients have the opportunity to choose which features they need for their particular event, rather than being confined to choosing either "option A, or option B." Clients never feel "ripped off" with Rebirth Entertainment. He finds a way to make sure it is affordable for everyone, no matter what the size of the event may be. Clients have the opportunity to use or not use every option that Jordan offers. He also offers "package prices" for clients that want to use many or all of the options offered. He has a very diverse music selection, catering to all different kinds of people and occasions. Rebirth Entertainment specializes in all different types of music, video, and lighting combinations, giving your event the "vibe" or "special moment" feel that you request (whether that vibe be high energy, or slow and easy - or both!). He keeps his events professional, and never ruins it with unintended "cheesiness," drinking on the job, or any other type of disaster that could potentially ruin your event. DJ Rebirth keeps his clients. To this day, he still works with the same companies and individuals that he has been working with from day one, while still succeeding in picking up new clients every day. Simply, people just like Jordan. From start to finish, there is never any doubt that you made the right decision when choosing Rebirth Entertainment. He constantly makes sure that everyone is happy, which is why his company has been successful for so many years, and he never loses a client. read more

I have attended quite a few Rebirth Entertainment fueled events and I would totally recommend this production for any event you may need DJ services. A lot of thought and care is put into each event and it shows. Professional, reliable and genuine, the energy is always positive and fun. Having witnessed both the backend (the planning and prep) to the final result, I can say, without a doubt, this is the DJ I would want for my event. Someone not only dedicated to their craft, but also providing excellent quality of service. read more

LONG over due but our DJ, Jordan, was seriously the BEST! He made the entire process so simple and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding day. He gave so many great recommendations as well as listening to my wants on selection. We had a pretty large wedding so the fact that almost everyone was dancing was so great. Everyone I talk to says how great the music was! I could not recommend him more. read more

We booked DJ Rebirth for our recent wedding on February 10th. We were very impressed and I don't think we could have made a better choice. He made it a very memorable evening. For those of you thinking "hey, my buddy could just dj our wedding, he's got some gear"...don't do it. The money is worth it, and you'll be glad that you got a quality DJ. He was great at getting the crowd involved and kept the energy high all night. Look no further because you can't get much better! read more

I recently saw DJ Rebirth at a going away party, and he was AMAZING! Not only was the music awesome but he kept the party-goers engaged and also entertained them with the coolest video karaoke! He also lit up the ice sculptures and trees, the backyard looked like Disneyland! I am actually hiring him for my wedding next summer, I am so stoked Jordan said "yes" to the event! read more

Jordan was AMAZING! My husband and I just got married this past weekend (5/25/14) and Jordan made the day perfect. There is so much worrying that goes into making a wedding day beautiful and entertainment is at the top to make sure its perfect. The monogram he suggested took the wedding to another level. Jordan was always so quick to respond and constantly made himself available and put us at ease. Everytime my husband and i would hang up the phone with him, we would both say 'he is just the nicest guy around.' He really is a doll and went above and beyond to add some beautiful lighting to the cake and room. I had a lot of special requests in regards to song choices and specific timing and Jordan executed it perfectly on the day. He had the whole dance floor packed inside and out and even made a last minute call for me to share my father-daughter dance outside on the monogram. Definitely didnt think of that but beyond grateful he did. He made the whole day worry free and I received so many compliments the whole night on the music. He had everyone from ages 3-75 on the floor all night long. I can't wait to work with him again and would without a doubt recommend him to any bride, school or private function anyone has. Know that you are in great hands with Jordan!! read more

Jordan is incredible. Not only does he know his music, but he is very willing to work with you and provide exactly what you need. He knows his stuff and can easily get a feel for his surroundings and put on the perfect song. He is amazing on the fly, so if something were about to go wrong, Jordan is way ahead of you. Jordan did the lighting and music for my aerial showcase at San Diego United Training center and absolutely blew it out of the park! His music was on point and his lighting fit perfectly. He is also DJing my wedding in October and if I ever have a question he responds with helpful tips immediately. To put it simply, Rebirth goes above and beyond to make the client happy. You will not be disappointed and you can't go wrong with rebirth! read more

We used Jordan for our wedding and he was so easy to work with. Quick response time to texts or emails always. Such a nice guy and he did an amazing job at the wedding. We've been married 6 weeks and I've already had 3 people from our event ask me for his info...so he made an impression. Highly recommended!! read more

The owner of Rebirth Entertainment (Jordan Jacobs) did an amazing job with our wedding. He was a true professional during the entire process and provided valuable input whenever we needed it -- He made himself available and provided timely responses via text, call, email, and meetings. The planning process was made incredibly easy by using his website to pick songs, input special requests, add additional notes, etc. He followed our wishes and performed excellently with little direction from us on our wedding day. We also had a singer during our ceremony and reception and he worked great with her after having met the day of the wedding. Best of all, his prices were incredibly fair! We are thoroughly satisfied with the services provided and highly recommend booking him for your next event. read more

When it comes to a good party, I'm usually pretty critical about thing like the food being served, the party's atmosphere, and the music. I recently went to a friend's graduation party and I must say that Rebirth Entertainment is on top of its game! The DJ (Jordan) was a professional guy and kept the dance floor moving all night. They also had a big video screen at the party, which the DJ was playing music videos on. He played everything from 80's to some much older stuff, and then some newer stuff and hip hop. The overall sound quality was great, and filled the room out pretty well (I could feel the bass of my favorite song "Ni*&@s in Paris" in my pants!!). The light show was cool too, I think I spotted a laser in there among the bright colorful lights. Overall it was a pretty fun experience! I'll be sure to keep this DJ company in mind if I have any big parties in the future. read more

When we looked for a DJ for our wedding, I didn't really know what to do. My cousin who does PR recommended Jordan.  We looked at and interviewed a few. Jordan being the last.  We hired him at the interview!  We are pretty eclectic in our music choices and not a lot of DJ understood that.  We really didn't know what we were doing when planning our wedding or how we should even direct the big day. Jordan laid it all out for us and gave us a general timeline (based on his experience) and then suggested we look and make it our own. He provided an online tool that gave an itinerary of the day with times, which was super helpful while planning.  The online tool also allowed us to search for songs, make notes on specific songs and create dedications, and indicate songs that shouldn't be played.  He was very easy to work with and even saved us in the end.  We thought we had it all together with the walk down the isle and first dance and such.  He reviewed all of our requests about 1-2 weeks ahead of time and noticed that we had nothing selected for after the I Dos (walk back down the isle). We didn't even think about that!  It was just one of those things that when you're thinking about everything else, it just slipped through the cracks. He was able to provide us with suggestions on that as well.  On the big day, he was amazing.  He directed people when we started, when food was being served, toasts, dances, etc.  He had the crowd dancing the night away!!   We had so many compliments on the music.  He was able to take our eclectic style merge it with some classics and did all of our shout-outs to keep people on the dance floor all night long.  It was an awesome day and Jordan was a big part of that. Definitely removed stress from us so we could focus on enjoying the moment. I'm keeping him in my contacts in case I need him for a work or charitable event as well.  I realize my experience isn't vast in the DJ world, but his service was beyond our expectations and his price was great too!  I will also say, my cousin does PR for a lot of events and bars and such,  and she will only recommend him because he is a real MC and not just the guys standing behind the table playing music.  Thanks Jordan for a wonderful, magical day! read more

I was very specific with song timing and certain songs and you executed everything perfectly. I could have not asked for a better DJ. There was never a doubt in my mind that Jordan would DJ my wedding... even before I got engaged, I knew he would be the one! I've had the privilege of knowing him since high school but honestly that's not why I hired him. My husband and I picked Jordan because day after day, weekend after weekend, he is responsible for the music that sounds throughout San Diego. Been to a Susan G Komen walk and been motivated by music to hit the finish line? That was Jordan. Strolled past a beautiful hotel and heard the joyous sounds of a wedding raging? That was Jordan. Want a top DJ that you can't believe you're lucky enough to have for your wedding or event? That IS Jordan.
