1st of all, they dropped the ball. They told me that my photographer would contact me 45 days before my wedding and I had to call them 30 days before my wedding. The gentleman that answered the phone said that he would just "take the job" The photographer was very friendly and and seemed to understand what I was asking for. I was told that I would get a photographer for 8 hours, 800 photos all touched. I received over 1300 photos and only 90 of them were edited. There are hundreds of pictures of my back, my guests back with my arms wrapped around them. He took very few photos of our faces and did not capture very many moments that we could print and use. He did not give anybody any direction and most of the time I didn't even know where he was. During the ceremony he stood in the back of the church. He captured a picture of the entire room and we are very very small and did not capture our faces very well. There are many pictures that would have been fabulous if they weren't shadowed and the lighting was not adjusted by his camera, or if he simply told people to look at him so he could snap the picture. He also did not use the zoom at all. When capturing pictures of our guests and our wedding party, they are making silly faces, not smiling and posed well. There was a few very specific pictures I asked for and he did not execute that very well. I am very disappointed at $1600 I cannot rephotograph my day. At the end of the day I have a flash drive and alot of work to do in order to create a wedding album. read more

Used their DJ service for our daughter's wedding this past Friday Night, Jerome was our DJ..... absolutely AWESOME!!! His energy was amazing, never seen a DJ start a song, then sprint from place to place to make sure everything was good. He played a fantastic mix, had everyone dancing, we had a blast! When I was planning the DJ for my sister's wedding, I had a simple request: that the DJ be professional to the highest level. I can't tell you how many weddings I was a part of where the DJ absolutely ruined a perfect evening. I knew right off the bat I didn't want that for my sister and neither did she. When we reached out to Complete Weddings + Events, they were immediately excited to work with us and once we had a chance to sit down with them one on one, you could tell they were enthusiastic about giving us the professional experience we were needing. After making our needs and wants known, we were paired with Robbie J. Robbie J met my sister, her fiancee and I two weeks before the wedding to get everything finalized. We met at Inner Rail in Aksarben and immediately Robbie J made you feel like you were talking to a friend you'd known for years. He took the time to get to know us and we took the time to get to know him. We expressed the sensitivity of not wanting to acknowledge our father who had passed away and Robbie J. was very kind and made sure that nothing surrounding our father would be mentioned (such as father/daughter dance). He even offered a brother/sister dance for her, which she and my brother really loved and made the best of it. Robbie J. made an edited audio of the two songs that they really loved. Robbie J. was great at taking our requests and considerations and truly passed my test with flying colors. Our DJ was so amazing! Not only did she stick to just her DJ duties but she also served the bride and grooms food, she dismissed tables to go through the buffet line, and she also helped elderly and disabled guests get their plates of food as well. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that the bride and groom always knew what was happening and when it was going to happen. Absolutely amazing! I've worked with Complete for years for all types of events. They are professional, detailed and truly care about the experience. Last year our huge event had to be cancelled due to an ice storm the morning of and they made it so easy and took great care of it. I used Complete for photography and DJ this last weekend and they were AWESOME! My DJ, Alex kept us on track all night, played awesome music, and even had fun games and other entertainment! I feel sorry for anyone who has to get married without him on the mic. My photographer, Dezirae was the best! She really made us feel comfortable and I know she snapped some photos that we are going to treasure forever. We had Alvaro as our photographer and he did such a great job at our wedding. We had a videochat meeting with him a few weeks before the wedding and he was so nice and professional. He was so helpful on our wedding day making sure we were where we needed to be and at the times we needed to be there. He made sure that my husband and I never crossed paths or saw each other beforehand and he kept checking in with us to make sure everything was going the way we wanted it to and that he was getting the pictures we wanted. You can tell that Alvaro has experience and really knows what he is doing. It was such a relief to have someone like that to help make our day the best day it could be. Arieus was such a great D.J. He was very energetic and did a really good job of keeping our guests entertained and knowing what was going on. He was very helpful with keeping things flowing well throughout the evening. He made sure we stayed on schedule, made sure we were in the places we needed to be, and made sure everyone had fun. If you are looking for a D.J. who knows what he's doing and will take care of everything for you then Arieus is your man. You can tell that he enjoys what he does and has a lot of experience. The only complaint I have is that during the dancing at the reception, he did not play two of our must play songs until later in the evening when a lot of our guests had left. One of those songs I had specifically asked to be played earlier in the night because it is a family tradition song and we wanted it to be played before some of our older guests left, but that did not happen. So very, very disappointed in how unprofessional the owner was. Where to start... The general storming around the venue with a bad attitude like we were an inconvenience (a paid inconvenience). Add in snarking my sister who so very politely asked if we should maybe put the cake in the refrigerator for now because it was melting and was met with a super rude "yeah, that happens" as if my sister is an idiot, and who cares the venue is so hot the frosting is melting. Then we get to the wedding time (5pm) and it's 5:04pm and a very important family member has arrived and parked and walking around the building and good ol Carol Baskin is yelling at the bride and bridesmaids and daughter to get inside "it's time to go, we're done and it's not my fault some people are late....". It wasn't even 10 minutes late, was there another wedding at 6?? After being obviously upset about how insanely unprofessional and rude this woman was, the daughter did say out-loud she wasn't happy. Enter Carol AGAIN to get in her face and yell at her 6 feet away from the alter where she is about 60 seconds away from marrying her mother.... Cute. So cute. 15/10 would stay as far away from Carol Baskin and this shitty ass office space/"venue" as possible. read more

This review is a long time overdue, but not for lack of performance from the company and its staff. Complete Weddings was professional, friendly, and on point from the lighting to the photobooth; and, did I mention the DJ? Mikey Chaki was incredible; fun, charming, knowledgeable, organized... I can't say enough about what he did to make our day absolutely perfect. He played music for our short, non-traditional ceremony, and was perfectly on cue with every song. The music for our dinner service was casual and light; but when it came time to get the dance floor started, his timing and song selection didn't miss a beat. Near the close of our ceremony, the bartenders remarked to me that they had never worked a wedding where so many people cut up the dance floor. An incredible night, unforgettable for so many reasons, Mikey and Complete Weddings being significantly one (or multiple) of them. Thank you; I'm so sorry this review is three months overdue!! I hired Kyle (photographer), Jerome (DJ), a photobooth, videographer and rented a projector. Complete was awesome! They are all professionals and fun to work with. They all listened to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great wedding. Everything was perfect! read more
