My daughter really feels at home here. These things are more important to her than the quality of ballet training that she is receiving, which is top notch. She doesn't have plans for a professional dance career but I like knowing that Heartland Conservatory of Dance would set her on that path if she chose to. After our experience with Simply Ballroom in October 2022, for my daughter and her husband's wedding, we were confident in what Simply Ballroom could provide for our wedding. They surpassed any expectations we may have had by leaps and bounds. They were organized, efficient and worth every penny! Alex and Rachelle's creativity, dedication, and passion for our wedding and reception was truly spectacular! They were professional, patient, and fun. Becoming involved in working smoothly with everyone, taking our ideas, and making them work. They think things through and are prepared for changing circumstances. Simply Ballroom is an outstanding company to work with. They provided our DJ/MC Services, Cold Spark Fountains, Lighting, Photo Booth, and the Memory Book. All these services were remarkable. The one service I wasn't prepared for was the coordination services. We did not have a wedding coordinator, and trying to do all this ourselves was overwhelming. We turned those duties over to Rachelle and boom, done. And done well!! Their professional capability enabled them to smoothly match the energy of the changing atmosphere, advise us on the flow of events and they created the perfect playlist. Alex and Rachelle communicated clearly and frequently. This allowed for a relaxed, smooth, and completely low-stress day and evening. Simply Ballroom was, and is, an exceptional company to work with. We will always highly recommend all their services! Please check out Simply Ballroom's Facebook posts from June 14th to see some of their incredible work! "Simply Ballroom provided DJ & Photo Booth Services for our second wedding this past Sunday at The Caboose in Red Oak Iowa for Mr. & Mrs. Johnson. This was a very special wedding for us considering we provided DJ services for the bride's daughter last October. The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding, and it was such a great turnout! Thank you again for trusting us with another wedding in your family. We can't wait to see you all again!"

I easily found this studio online one day while searching for places to send Lia to learn ballet. I saw that they were enrolling soon and decided to email the owner right away for some more information. She responded very quickly and soon we went in to sign up. When you first start, Traci gives you a couple weeks to try it out just in case your child ends up not liking it. I thought that was great because, well, if you pay money for something and later your kid doesn't want to do it anymore, it's a waste! Our daughter, needless to say, LOVES ballet and tap! She also loves her teachers there. They are just so friendly and makes her feel at home whenever she comes in. It's a pretty small community here at this dance studio, not like the one closer to my house where I see so many kids come in and out of. I like the smaller classes, especially for Lia as she gets quite distracted sometimes. It helps her to learn in these small classes a lot better and she feel she has more one on one time.

There was a nice variety of pole and aerial hammocks, and there was one burlesque performer (I think because she'll have a newborn by their next burlesque show) and a hoop. They also provided a few free beverages during intermission an outdoor fire show. The only thing I would say would be the chairs were pretty uncomfortable. But I understand folding chairs are very easy to put out and clean back up.

If you have back issues you seriously need to start your Yoga journey and this place is where to start. Lisa the owner is an amazing teacher and such a kind soul. All of the instructors have been fantastic and care deeply about what they do. Karma offers a variety of classes, both heated and air conditioned. In the past year I've tried just about every type of class they offer and I've found what works for me. From relaxing and meditative, to high intensity, they have a class for you. They have 2 class studios. The larger room is mostly used for heated classes. It's a large space with 2 mirrored walls which is great for self corrections and being able to see the instructor no matter where you are in the room. I've never felt cramped in the large room, it's so big!! The 2nd room is much smaller and is air conditioned. This room can get a bit crowded at times but usually it's plenty of space. They have yoga mats you can use if you need, plus all the props you could possibly want or need during your practice. They also sell some really nice yoga mats and athletic clothes in the main entrance area. The only thing I would change if I could is I wish the men's shower/locker room was a bit less cramped. Not much they can do about this though due to the location. Really only 3 people can be in the men's room at a time due to the size of the space. There are 2 showers and some small cubicles for storing your bag and one chair. I cannot comment on the woman room area, but I believe it's a bit larger. Bottom line: If you are looking for a place to try yoga or a seasoned "Yogie" give this place a try!

Not bad considering if I didn't like it, I only spent $20! (One class I believe is $13 or so). I was able to register for class online. On their website, they list all of the classes that are available and you are able to register for all of them online. Their classes range from 5:45 in the morning until 6:15 in the evening. There are many options for everyone. They also offer many different types of classes and when I went this morning, there were two going on at the same time. So, you have options, which is a plus! When you first walk in here, it is nice and spacious. You can see where you can put your shoes otherwise, there is a bathroom with cubbies where you can also put your things. They have yoga stuff on one of the walls that you can purchase. It is very clean and really, it's a calming atmosphere. The ladies that checked me in are super nice too. They made me feel really welcome even though I haven't done yoga in probably 2 years. The hot yoga class that I signed up for is pretty similar to others I have tried. The people in the class with me varied in skill and ability, which was nice. I didn't feel so bad. The instructor was also very helpful and made it possible for us to get what we needed out of the class. Another positive about Karma Yoga is that the hot yoga room, when you first walk in, smells like lavender! It took me by surprise since many hot yoga rooms do not smell particularly good at all! Right away, you are put into a calm mood. In all, I really loved my experience today and I honestly feel that I will extend my membership to longer than two weeks once my two weeks are up!

I never felt like I didn't belong or an outsider. Every yoga attendee had varying capabilities. The hot yoga was wonderful! Because of the heat I was able to really sweat and have relaxed muscles to get a more deep stretch. I felt tired, detoxified and I had a very challenging workout! I went back for a 60 minute hot yoga session that week. My body is sore and grateful for the new physical and mental challenge. I bought the special $30 for 30 days for new students.
