My husband and I acquired tickets to see Creighton vs DePaul women's basketball game recently. The…read moregame started at 2pm and we got there just around there. It took us a few minutes to find parking, but ended up with a metered street parking that was a lot cheaper than the $10 lot that was only marginally closer to the arena. When we got to the arena, the game had already started, so there were no long lines and getting in was a breeze. The stadium itself is small (though no shortage of Creighton Bluejays fans), so it wasn't too much of a hassle to find our area and seats. The seats were good, the arena was clean, and the game was enjoyable! During halftime, we stretched out our legs and walked around the stadium. There were a couple food and drinks vendors along with team merch. Both my husband and I were surprised by the $4 pretzel and cheese as it's usually much more expensive at these types of events, so of course we had to indulge a little. I really appreciated the free little packets of sliced jalapeños at the condiment station - I put some in my cheese sauce. The pretzel was very very salty and I had to brush a lot of the salt away, but apart from that I really have no complaints. The canned drinks were a little on the expensive side, as expected. Overall we had a good time and the Bluejays winning was just the cherry on top!

I love the business administration building ( Mike & Josie Harper Center ) with many new features and designs . I also love the V.J. & Angela Skutt student center . The interior architecture is beautiful. Many corners to study or have a meeting . One level is the hot food restaurants ( Asian and Mexican) and Starbucks . People are very friendly , good manner and respectful. The students have room for self discovery and growth. Like the mottos they craved on the sculpture " Ite Inflammate Omnia" ; " Set The World on Fire " . Go ! Blue Jays !

I was a little surprised that the renovation a few years ago also got a revamp on the restaurants…read morewithin. It was definitely needed. The firehouse subs is a refreshing change from some of the other closer food options around campus. I've been very pleased with the quality of sandwich's that have come from this place. The workers have also been very kind and made sure to take orders and hand over food with a smile. It was just what I needed between busy classes!

We recently came here for a Science on Screen showing of Grizzly Man and a discussion with a psychiatrist about why people would do things like go and live with a bunch of grizzly bears. It was really interesting and informative. The theater itself is amazing with comfortable seating; it's mostly pretty steep so you aren't looking at the back of anyone's head. Nice selection of concessions and REAL BUTTER on the popcorn. Memberships are available, which include discounts on tickets, snacks, and merch, as well as some special events. We were members for years and I think I will renew. This is a great organization to support; and as a member, movie tickets are just $7.
