It makes for a great dining experience. I always start my meal with an El Jefe Margarita, and it never disappoints. It's one of my favorites! Be sure to order the queso to go with the chips and salsa. The chips are always served warm, fresh, and perfectly crisp. For my entrée, I never pass up the Sizzling Baja. It's loaded with tender chicken and shrimp, all covered in an incredible tomato sauce that is absolutely delicious. The sauce is so good that I pour it over the black beans and rice too, you won't want to waste a single bite! The service is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Between the outstanding food, excellent margaritas, and consistently great service, this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I'll definitely be back. Cheers!

The veggies were cooked well and not raw like I've had at other restaurants. The corn tortillas tasted like they might be house made and fresh. I also appreciated the salsa bar. The restaurant itself was clean and well decorated. However, the women's bathroom had a bottle of soap that was 95% water and didn't leave my hands feeling very clean. The hand dryer was also unplugged and there were no hand towels. What really brings my review down is the service. The service was definitely subpar. Our waitress was also the bartender and paid more attention to the people at the bar than our table. She didn't check on us throughout our meal, and only refilled my water once when she brought our food out. When we were done, we didn't know if they'd bring a bill to us or if we were suppose to go to the front desk, as she never said anything to us. Every single staff in the restaurant was on their personal phones, leaving the restaurant to take personal calls, and fraternizing more than working. We also witnessed several food safety violations including our waitress sticking her hands in her pants in the back to tuck her shirt, and another waitress playing with her hair excessively, all without washing their hands before interacting with customers again. While good food, I don't know that I'll go back given the experience we had with the staff. I really question cleanliness when behaviors like that are happening in front of customers.
