If you want fast delicious Mexican food and service, this is the place to come. Stopped by here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I had the chicken chimichanga. The flour tortilla was nice and crispy and loaded with cheese on top. I also tried their spicy salsa and let me tell you, it is SPICY! As if that was not spicy enough, I ordered a side of grilled jalapeño peppers too! I definitely recommend trying the peppers to add a little kick to your meal. Such a wonderful place! The enchiladas were so delicious. And I say yeah as someone who's go to meal is enchiladas any kind. (I personally make a sausage enchilada from time to time) As a vegetarian, beans are a staple of my diet and the refried beans on the side were amazing. I could have that for breakfast,lunch and dinner! Simply the best! The guacamole was astounding. I aim to eat more avocados on a daily basis and this guac can easily become a daily thing. So so good! The Mexican restaurant I normally go to was closed so we decided to try here. I had a group of about 8 people. That was a mistake we were seated and about 10 minutes later still no drinks or even have waiter/ waitress come over. When someone finally does come by I have to ask for someone to get a drink order. I have been in Nashville area 5 years and this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at. All lunch specials are $5.95. Food had good flavor, not bland. Came here, for me, for the first time today. Waitress didn't speak English very well but that's OK. I ordered steak fajitas and my friend ordered taco salad. Another friend didn't wish to order food and just asked for queso and guacamole as well as a new basket of chips. We didn't receive silverware until we asked for it, and that was after my friends taco salad came. He did comment on the salad and say it was small. I received chicken fajitas and had to send it back to receive steak fajitas. When I sent the chicken fajitas back I left the tortillas on the plate. When I got my steak fajitas it didn't have tortillas so I had to ask another waitress, as ours was nowhere to be found, to get me tortillas. The food was tasty but the issues with ordering and getting the food correct will make me question a return trip. read more

This is always our "go to" spot when we want to reward ourselves with Mexican. The staff is very attentive and consistent. I have always seen the same employees on frequent visits and they have come to recognize us and know our needs. The food is consistently good and has a better quality than most NashMex area locations. The meat is tender and quality cuts. Never over seasoned but very tasty. I have not found anything that was not good but have found myself ordering the Tacos De Carne Asada often. I recommend that you order the queso to dip them in also. That is if you can keep from eating it all with the chips before the meal comes. Very consistent, very fast, very inexpensive, very convenient location, and bottom line, VERY fulfilling taste. read more

We've been eating Mexican food from California to Florida, and this is one of the best experiences we've had! The food is obviously fresh, not frozen. We are always suspicious when they warn you that the plates are hot. It means the food was frozen and then assembled onto the plate and heated in the oven. Not here. Everything tasted like it had just been made fresh. And the plates weren't hot, just warm. Carnitas (roasted chunks of pork) were so tender! Sometimes the chips can be stale but we just request more and they are Johny on the Spot. With all the other Mexican restaurants around the area, we've found this one to be our favorite. Myself and a Co-Worker used to eat here once a week. On one of our weekly visits I had a hair in my food. It was not my hair and it was about 2 in. long. We stumbled on this place just down the road from our last try (where we were ignored) and I think I've found my new favorite place. The people who say the guacamole is bland, obviously haven't ever had truly authentic guacamole. Freshly prepared, no salt, no extra spice, not overly oniony...just the lovely taste of avocado with a pinch of cilantro and tomatoes. My son had a grilled chicken salad which looked better than the photo in the menu and tasted amazing. I had Caldo de Pollo that tasted like someone's grandmother was in the kitchen making it. Spicy and warm, huge chunks of chicken, and finished with fresh avocado and fresh cilantro. I have a head cold working on me, and I think this will knock it out for sure. Fantastic.
