Ambiance as to be expected. Very nice and efficient staff. Guacamole very good. Overall a good experience.

Customer service was great. You can tell it's true to the culture. Chips and salsa are what you expect... good. Margaritas delicious. Food was good for normal Mexican food. read more

Amazing food. I had the bisrec Monterey- super flavorful. Very nice place, great service and overall a great dinner!

Amazing food I come here very often and it's overall such a good vibe but it's sad to see how my favorite restaurant is always so empty

Very friendly food always fresh! I like the staff they pretty much memorized me and my family orders by heart.

Just had a delicious meal. I got the enchiladas, my friend ordered the Pina Hawaiiana. Both were excellent, and the server was very attentive. A good quick Sunday lunch! read more

First time here. Soon as I set down and looked at the salt shaker I wanted to run out and take a shower! Inside the salt shaker had a lovely surprise of dead looking bugs! read more

If you want fast delicious Mexican food and service, this is the place to come. Stopped by here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I had the chicken chimichanga. The flour tortilla was nice and crispy and loaded with cheese on top. I also tried their spicy salsa and let me tell you, it is SPICY! As if that was not spicy enough, I ordered a side of grilled jalapeño peppers too! I definitely recommend trying the peppers to add a little kick to your meal. Overall I was satisfied with my meal and the service was quick and attentive. I definitely will be back to try their other entrees! read more

Such a wonderful place! The enchiladas were so delicious. And I say yeah as someone who's go to meal is enchiladas any kind. (I personally make a sausage enchilada from time to time) As a vegetarian, beans are a staple of my diet and the refried beans on the side were amazing. I could have that for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Simply the best! The guacamole was astounding. I aim to eat more avocados on a daily basis and this guac can easily become a daily thing. So so good! All around amazing experience!!! A million stars if I could! read more

I came in for lunch today. Really great lunch specials. We had the steak fajitas and the el gringa. The queso is awesome and the flavoring of the meat and veggies are on point. The portions are great. I will definitely be coming back to try some more dishes. The menu is Huge! read more

The Mexican restaurant I normally go to was closed so we decided to try here. I had a group of about 8 people. That was a mistake we were seated and about 10 minutes later still no drinks or even have waiter/ waitress come over. When someone finally does come by I have to ask for someone to get a drink order. Beyond ridiculous worst service. Would not recommend going here. I definitely will not be back. read more

This place is just really good Mexican food for a good price and good service - highly recommend

I have been in Nashville area 5 years and this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at. All lunch specials are $5.95. Food had good flavor, not bland. Salsa was spicy and the Verde(green salsa) was excellant. Some of the best in restaurants I have had. Service was quick for lunch and server was pleasant. This will be our new "go to" in the Mt.Juliet, LaVergne, Smyrna area. read more

Food was good and was priced decently. Place is a little cramped and could use a little updating but overall we come for the food right?

Being from out west I am very particular about my Mexican food. This being the only restaurant in the area I would recommend. The food is good (could be spicier), and the staff treats my son like Norm off "Cheers". Great place to eat! read more

This is always our "go to" spot when we want to reward ourselves with Mexican. The staff is very attentive and consistent. I have always seen the same employees on frequent visits and they have come to recognize us and know our needs. The food is consistently good and has a better quality than most NashMex area locations. The meat is tender and quality cuts. Never over seasoned but very tasty. I have not found anything that was not good but have found myself ordering the Tacos De Carne Asada often. I recommend that you order the queso to dip them in also. That is if you can keep from eating it all with the chips before the meal comes. Very consistent, very fast, very inexpensive, very convenient location, and bottom line, VERY fulfilling taste. read more

I will say the food is not too bad but I don't think I have had an order that has been correct yet.....the salsa is good and guacamole was fresh but the cheese dip is usually a little clumpy from sitting. I gave them three stars for taste but I would make sure they understand your order. read more

Came here, for me, for the first time today. Waitress didn't speak English very well but that's OK. I ordered steak fajitas and my friend ordered taco salad. Another friend didn't wish to order food and just asked for queso and guacamole as well as a new basket of chips. We didn't receive silverware until we asked for it, and that was after my friends taco salad came. He did comment on the salad and say it was small. I received chicken fajitas and had to send it back to receive steak fajitas. When I sent the chicken fajitas back I left the tortillas on the plate. When I got my steak fajitas it didn't have tortillas so I had to ask another waitress, as ours was nowhere to be found, to get me tortillas. The food was tasty but the issues with ordering and getting the food correct will make me question a return trip. read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Nashville. You can tell it's cooked with passion. The drinks are NOT watered down at all. There are no shortcuts taken at this place and the staff remembers me every time. Love it read more

Food was very yummy, the staff was extremely friendly. Restaurant not the prettiest place to dine at, but it's a great hole in the wall place to eat at. read more

I'm on the road a third of the year. I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants all over the United States. I always enjoy eating here at El Rodeo. Everyone is friendly and the food is always delicious. Whenever I'm home, I drop by. I've been eating here for over 6 years and it's always been a pleasure. read more

Good selection, good size portions, good prices. And better than cozumel because they don't use that nasty shredded chicken "pieces," cover everything in black pepper, and you don't smell like dirty restaurant kitchen when you leave. read more

They can't get my order right ordering straight off the menu with no special preparations in the restaurant or if I call in my order. They also have items on the menu with racist names for example the Gringo burrito are you freaking serious? That's racist as hell I'm never going back terrible service read more

This is maybe the worst Mexican restaurant ever. It is quick service but the rest is garbage. The cheese dip is horrible i would rather eat cheese dip from Burger King the salsa is mini sized like if i was 1 horrible place find somewhere else to eat. read more

Fajitas were great, chips and and salsa pretty normal. Atmosphere was pretty bland. Very crowded. Noone beats Smyrnas Cozumels!!!

Though my boyfriend would give this place a 10 star rating, I'm going to stick with 4. The lunch prices are really great, especially if you're interesting in the pick of the day. I always have the chicken fajitas, which never fail to please me! The veggies are always fresh and the chicken is spiced just great. Plus, who can resist free chips and salsa (good salsa, too!)? The wait-staff is pretty good, too, and are ok with me and my boyfriend having picky orders. Overall, a great place for a good lunch deal. read more

We've been eating Mexican food from California to Florida, and this is one of the best experiences we've had! The food is obviously fresh, not frozen. We are always suspicious when they warn you that the plates are hot. It means the food was frozen and then assembled onto the plate and heated in the oven. Not here. Everything tasted like it had just been made fresh. And the plates weren't hot, just warm. Carnitas (roasted chunks of pork) were so tender! Excellent service and absurdly low prices make this a don't-miss experience. I wish we lived closer; we'd be here every week. read more

I went to get something to eat here and I found some hair on my nachos. I will not spend a dollar here anymore.

First time to El Rodeo.....highly impressed with how fast they had our food ready and how incredible the food tasted. Meals are priced really well. Friendly staff....they picked up anew customer after last night. read more

Myself and a Co-Worker used to eat here once a week. On one of our weekly visits I had a hair in my food. It was not my hair and it was about 2 in. long. I informed the waitress and she kindly removed my food and offered another plate but i had to pass. Stuff like that just gross me out. We didn't go back there for a few months then decided to give them another try. After about the fourth visit i found another hair in my food. We haven't been back since. read more

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. A little on the hot side.

I dropped in after Yelping for Mexican food while passing through LaVergne. I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, uniqueness of the menu and the great taste / quality of the food. I'm sure I'll be tempted in the future to drive the long distance from home to come back here! read more

We stumbled on this place just down the road from our last try (where we were ignored) and I think I've found my new favorite place. The people who say the guacamole is bland, obviously haven't ever had truly authentic guacamole. Freshly prepared, no salt, no extra spice, not overly oniony...just the lovely taste of avocado with a pinch of cilantro and tomatoes. My son had a grilled chicken salad which looked better than the photo in the menu and tasted amazing. I had Caldo de Pollo that tasted like someone's grandmother was in the kitchen making it. Spicy and warm, huge chunks of chicken, and finished with fresh avocado and fresh cilantro. I have a head cold working on me, and I think this will knock it out for sure. Fantastic. I will definitely be back and will tell my friends!! read more

From my experience, I won't go back. Waitress was not interested in her job, not knowledgeable of the menu... Food quality was sub par. Requested management, he wasn't interested in addressing our concerns. Needless to say that I will spend my money elsewhere... Never going back... Lol read more

My experience was awesome. Great service and fo. I'll definitely visit more frequently. This id ny first time

I'm just going to start off with this place is over priced for the quality. They charged me $12 for carne asada order to go, and it wasn't even worth the price. I had better food at taco trucks. You can find better Mexican food driving a few more miles. And not to mention they forgot to add Tortilla to my to go order. read more
