Delicious after a second visit! Not much more to add besides new photos and as always friendly service.

Decided to spend the week over at the lake and found this spot about 2 miles from our RV park. It was ridiculously good. In an area completely rich in different Mexican options this place absolutely stands far out in front of others. First, we ordered more food than God intended. But might as well sample the menu while you sit waterfront at a lake built by the corps of engineers...Murica. Second, all of it was delicious. I think the gorditas stood out above everything else. They were killer. The tacos were also good, but all the other stuff was next level. The surprise "wow" factor were the barbacoa fries. Not traditional Mexican fare, but hot damn they were amazing. Last, I feel like I need to fast today. Maybe go for a walk? Still full.

Y'all..... I didn't even make it all the way home and the stuff fries were gone! They were barbacoa stuffed fries... it was too hard driving with that smell. Mind you I got lost and had to pull up the GPS lol! The limon-cucumber was perfect. Made me ready for the sun. But what I wasn't ready for oh, were those enchiladas! Y'all.... Dos Carnales woke up and chose SMOKE! They obviously Said f@#k your diet! These people ain't playing not a 1 game with y'all. Now. Not today. Not this restaurant! 1st of all... I thought I was back in Southern Cali when I walked in! All they needed was the mural of a highly respected community leader up on the wall. But forget all of that.. let's move to the food. Y'all... I understand certain ethnic restaurants have to cater to the money Bringers and Spenders. Meaning, little to no seasonings. NOT THIS PLACE!!!! Oooooooooo wee! Y'all, that darn enchilada was so freaking good! And the beans... Those beans were actually seasoned! OMG! The whole freaking plate was delicious! And I wasn't even on that Devil's lettuce! Homie needs to be slapped that food was too good! He's definitely looking for a wife in Antioch! And if he keeps cooking like that, he'll probably have about five! Jesus this food was so good! And it was seasoned... Perfectly! Y'all know I have a new favorite now. And I'm so embarrassed I literally have to GPS how to get there. I'm not familiar with the southern part of Antioch. But for this place, I'll learn! Now don't go up in here asking for no gluten free, vegan, tofu and sprout options. Just let these people be great at what they do! And that's keeping me fat and happy. We will not be gentrifying this establishment. PERIOD. Man those enchiladas were stupid good... we are definitely going to have to stick to the gym on Saturday mornings now. But it's well worth it!

    This is the flauta dish.

Superb!!! If you're looking for authentic food, come here. I actually felt like I was in Mexico inside the restaurant. Mexican music and no English..including the customers. LOL Of course the staff spoke some English. We got the guacamole and fresh, HOT, homemade chips. Phenomenal. I got the flautas dish, and they were the best flautas I've had in a long time. Your dishes are made to order so everything is fresh. I have a photo of the flautas. I am a Texas snob when it comes to authentic Mexican food, and I highly recommend trying this place if you are passing through.

The last couple times I've been here I have been so disappointed. I ordered a Chile rellenos plate. The rice and beans are so bland. The pepper was still crunchy and there was a big chunk of unmelted cheese. I couldn't even eat it. Had to order food from somewhere else.

Al pastor sope, asada taco and al pastor taco!

Pretty good! I'm from San Diego so I've been looking for some good authentic Mexican and this right here is it! The hand made tortillas are everything.

Casa Fiesta is a local Mexican restaurant that sits on Bell Road near the Cane Ridge Road…read moreintersection, just a few blocks off of 24. It sits up on a hill, so half the restaurant is perched above the lot below. At first glance, you see the less than savory motels surrounding the restaurant, but don't let that deter you! For the most part, Casa Fiesta is your standard local Mexican spot, and I am down for that. I knew what to expect from a menu perspective, as well as service wise. I popped in after a visit to the nearby outlets, as I decided to treat myself to a bit of lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The space is large and features several dining rooms and a large wrap around/covered patio. I went with inside, as I love me a good booth and some AC. I was promptly sat upon entry and greeted just as quickly by my server. Along with the chips and salsa, I added a small queso and then went right in for the lunch order, which was the classic grilled chicken, cheese and rice. I added grilled onions, as why not!? Additionally, I got a side of sour cream. The plate of chicken, cheese and rice plus onions was HOT and PACKED, legit no room for anything else on that place. The serving size is definitely larger than I have gotten at many other local Mexican spots, and I was not mad at it. While the meal was large, the side of sour cream was not in proportion, which was a bummer. Maybe I like too much sour cream? I mean, is that really a thing? The food was tasty, but the chicken had a slight char taste to it, like maybe the grill was too hot or had remanence of another dish on it? It wasn't "bad", but noticeable for sure. Service was friendly and efficient. From entry to exit, I spent around 35 - 40 minutes in the restaurant. While the service size was larger than expected, so were the prices with the lunch running $15.99, small queso coming in at $6.99, and sour cream costing $1.50...totally close to $30 for lunch. Parking is plentiful. Getting in and out can be a hassle, especially if you are trying to turn left out of the lot. Either way, be careful. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and meal at Casa Fiesta! Definitely on the list of places to swing by when I find myself in the Antioch area!

Review Louis tacos Hey I'm just finished…read more I went to a Ranger guided hike at Long Hunter today and worked up quite an appetite. It was a little more strenuous than I anticipated. After I left the park I decided to look for something to eat before going back to camp. I rode down Hobson Pike and pulled over at a corner market to check my phone to see what was available nearby. Unfortunately there weren't many places open nearby. Most of them said CLOSINGS SOON and seeing as it was about 10 minutes till nine I was guessing closing time was 9 PM. I finally decided to ride up Murfressboro Road and give Louie's tacos a try. It's just west of Mt View rd on Murfreesboro Pike. The Yelp listing said Louie's Tacos and Bar, so I thought it would be a lively atmosphere. I got there and went inside and there were a few people at the bar and some people on the patio eating. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it might be but then again it is Sunday night. I didn't know how to order so I walked towards the bartender and asked her. She looked at me like she didn't hear me so I asked again. She never gave me an answer, but I did notice that she was looking at me with thinly veiled contempt. I'm going to give her the benefit of doubt and assume she couldn't hear me. One of the gentlemen at the bar turned and told me that I need to go to the counter to order and then told me the specials. He was one of the staff. The girl at the register who took my order was super sweet and answered all the questions I had about the food. There were some things on there that I didn't know about. I ordered an enchilada plate with a order of Mexican street corn. I've always heard about it but I've never been able to try it and I was excited to see it on the menu i love corn almost any way it's prepared. I got my drink from the self service station and went outside to a table on the patio. It seem to me like the music was not as loud outside. It didn't take very long at all for the young lady to bring out my plate. The enchiladas looks really good too. I ordered two cheese and one chicken. The Mexican street corn was served as kernels in a cup with the sauce and cheese on top. Not what I was expecting. I thought it was supposed to be roasted on the cob. I looked it up on Google and a lot of the pictures and recipes showed both kernels and corn on the cob so that was all right. I do think I'd have preferred the cob. The enchiladas were very good and they were very generous with the lettuce, tomato and sour cream. I love sour cream so I was very happy to have more than enough for my plate My enchiladas came with a side of rice and beans. The beans were good, but I love refried beans just about any way. I didn't much like the rice but that's OK because I don't care for rice that much anyway. I rarely eat it. It might be just right for your taste. Nothing wrong with it. I'm just not a fan of rice. The atmosphere was casual and fun and the artwork on the walls was spectacular. The employees were quite welcoming and helpful. I'm pretty sure I will come back to Louie's Tacos when I'm in Nashville again.

My wife and I had such great memories of the food but our schedules kept us away. We finally had some time off between loads it took us 2 years to get back and we knew that eating at Acapulco Burrito was a must. We even found a parking spot next door so we could sit and enjoy our dinner. Well the night went downhill right after walking in. We were seated quickly, we looked over the menu and we made our selections. Our meals were cold my wife was served a cold chicken burrito and my food was far from hot. Disappointed doesn't come close to how we felt afterwards. We don't complain, we remember and the next time we find ourselves in Antioch or Laverne we are good with eating elsewhere.

We were at the nearby outlets and decided to grab Mexican for dinner, and Acapulco Burrito was just an exit away, so off we went. When we pulled in, it didn't look like much, your standard re-purposed building now occupied by a local spot. But when you enter, you are greeted with energy, whether it be the intricate art on the walls, the bright colors or the random guy carrying a speaker and singing to tables...this plus the random "vendors" carrying trays of wood carvings or bouquets of roses for sale. Again...energy from every direction! You can definitely tell this is a local gem for the Latino population. Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating for us non-Spanish speakers...with that, everything is authentic and in Spanish here, so be prepared to whip out Google translate as needed! The menu is just as authentic as the decor and vibes, and while they offer all the classics you are accustomed to, they have several traditional dishes as well. While we did not get it, the Caldo was massively popular, legit just about every table ordered...clearly we missed out! We went with a few classics and they were great...same dishes we are used to by appearance, but the flavor was next level, even the rice! Service was stellar. Our server was friendly, welcoming and helpful from start to finish! Overall, an absolute gem of a place in Antioch. Definitely on the rotation when we find ourselves out that way!
