#22. One Burrito, One Chile Poblano and One Taco All of it was so good! The sauces were amazing!

I hadn't been here in a couple years, but won't make that mistake again. The queso is perfect and I enjoyed the salsa as well. So many unique menu items: Philly steak tacos, Hawaiian burritos, and birria tacos which my friend enjoyed. I went for the #22 chili rellano, burrito and taco. The sauces on top were unique to each of them and so good! Taco was standard, but delicious and hit the spot. I suggest adding sour cream. Best I've had in Mt. Juliet

My friend and I ended up here after searching for Mexican restaurants in Mount Juliet with outdoor seating. This restaurant is conviently located in a shopping plaza with Publix and plenty of parking. Despite it being a gorgeous day outside, the patio was closed. Our server was really nice and brought out warm chips and tasty chunky salsa and added a bowl of hot salsa. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas from the lunch menu. We had a pleasant first visit. We both got different entrees, and our food was hot and well seasoned. Service was fast and attentive, a great choice for a quick lunch.

Carnitas, chicken. Steak tacos All were very good!

We ended up here on a whim. We usually go somewhere else but the day we wanted to get tacos for lunch they had no power so we went to the next closet Mexican place since I really wanted tacos. And it was probably the best thing to happen, because these tacos were better than the place we had been going to! This is now our go to place for tacos close to home/pick up for lunch:

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Mount Juliet. The service is consistently good. Love the warm chips and tasty salsa. We ordered the steak fajitas for two. The amount of food was impressive. Good ratio of meat to veggies. The onions and peppers were cooked with a little crispness left. Not mushy. A couple tomatoes were tossed in too. The salad plate for the fajitas was nicely presented. I would have liked a little more pico. The guacamole was included without an up charge. Margaritas are tasty and a variety are offered. Drinks were promptly refilled. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting.

Best FAJITA'S in Wilson County! Flavorful,... Plentiful, simply THE BEST! You will never leave hungry or disappointed !

This place seems to hate spices. I have never had unflavored ground beef in a taco before. It was absolutely nasty. I almost threw up.

Right away we were welcomed and seated. Our two servers were attentive to us and joked around & laughed with our kids. They both commented to us more than once that we have a beautiful family. We felt so comfortable right away & it made for a very pleasant evening. The food at Memo's is unlike any Mexican food I have tried before. It was delicious, authentic, & unique. We tried the mole sauce (my first time ever trying it!!) over chicken enchiladas. It was earthy, sweet, & complex. I feel like I crave this sauce now! I've never had anything like it. Our kids enjoyed Memo's version of chicken, cheese, & rice. They really enjoyed it! The portions are a little small overall, but we all left satisfied. We saw the owner come out and say hello to some patrons. This restaurant is very special & it's hard to believe we have a place like it in Mt. Juliet.

After we waited at the host stand for 5 minutes, we grabbed a seat at the bar, where the only other patron was seated. We waited a few minutes (no bartender) and flagged down a busser who got a server for us. Our server came voluntarily to our table only a handful of times...we had to get up and go ask for her to take our order, bring drink refills, bring our check. We are not impatient people; we were her only customers and she spent her time seated near the kitchen scrolling on her phone. She visited our table voluntarily to take our drink order, bring our drinks, and bring our food. Every other time we had to go to the kitchen area and ask for help. Our food was not good. I'm pretty sure the Chile Relleno I ordered was frozen, it was warm on the outside and cold and soggy on the inside. Sides were cold, taco filling was cold. Nothing seemed to have been seasoned. And with no server checking to see if we needed anything, we couldn't ask for it to be heated. The server wasn't rude or ugly with us; she just would rather scroll on her phone than check in on us. I could / would have just asked her to heat the food to make it edible if she'd have come around. As it was, I took a couple of bites and was just done. Really bad. Go to Cinco de Mayo instead...it's what we should have done.

Nonetheless, it's worth searching for. In a word, it's vibrant. It's colorful and energetic atmosphere means this is not where you are going to go for a quiet romantic evening. The walls are beautifully adorned with hand-painted murals and paintings, creating a truly unique and inviting dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food! The fresh guacamole is a must-try - chunks of guacamole, perfectly seasoned, and made fresh. We opted for the street tacos with consomé as the main. Tasty and flavorful- authentic. Though, those looking for a healthier option may not find these to their liking. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal. And, like restaurants in Mexico, and the rest of world, they bring the machine to process credit card payments right to your table rather than take your card to God know where to run it. Amorcito Corazon is definitely worth a try. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and service is great. Relaxed atmosphere with colorful murals and decor.
