Tiny's restaurant has a bar on the right, with tables and booths on the left. This was taken from the entrance.

My girlfriend and I went to Tiny's for the first time a few days ago. It was much nicer inside than I anticipated. Larger, too. Our server was young and polite. We sat at a table but were soon offered a booth when one became available, so we moved to a booth next to a window. Our young server was quite polite and seemed knowledgeable about what they served. My girlfriend doesn't eat much. She ordered a sandwich and fries with a glass of soda. Said it was delicious. I got fried clams and onion rings. The full bellies were like beer bellies on a man - BIG ones! They were cooked just right and tasted great The price was nominal. I'd recommend Tiny's to anyone who finds themselves in the Ayer/Groton area, or just wants to go for a ride in the countryside, like we did.

Stopped in for a late morning milk shake. Place was packed and we didn't want to take the last 6 top as there was only two of us so we waited for a counter spot to open up. Always great service when we stop in and today was no different! Love the decor!!

Excellent fried oysters and clams. Have lived in the area for years, driven by numerous times and decided to try after reading reviews praising fried clams and oysters which we have not driven to NH or Maine for in recent years. We have enjoyed fried oysters from Oregon to the Canadian Maritime Provinces and appreciate quality and preparation. I can affirm that we do not need to consider any other place besides Tiny's for our fried clam or oyster fix. In addition, my wife felt the sweet potato fries were the best she ever had. Tina was our most congenial, helpful, competent server. We will definitely return. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g29526-d901516-r984932361-Tiny_s_Restaurant-Ayer_Massachusetts.html#

The true essence of a home town restaurant, The food has great flavor and is quick to the table. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area and will recommend some really delicious desserts. The place is nothing like the name it is in the corner of 2 roads and there is more seating than you would expect, Give it a try worth the stop.

After several recent visits, I am revising my initial review of Tiny's and adding a fourth star because their service is outstanding as is their breakfast sandwich. But most important when I asked that the English muffin be toasted extra well done and the bacon be extra crispy; they were! If like me you like traditional diners, you'll love Tiny's!

We had the best time, the food was delish! I hadn't been there in decades so it brought back tons of memories! The staff was courteous adept, talented at their craft and beyond hospitable! We will be back!

Good food and friendly people. Family style meals that are good portions. Price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Toppings (sausage and mushroom) were few and far between, especially the mushrooms which were almost nonexistent. Toppings, sauce, and cheese came only half-way to the edge, just dough after that. Top was way over-browned to the point where the cheese was disagreeably chewy. And I'm not sure if this was meant to be a thin-crust or a deep-dish pizza because it was both: thin in the middle half and three times thicker in parts of the outer half. Obviously whoever prepared this has no clue to how to do it properly. The ONLY good thing I can say about this mess is the dough itself was fresh and had a good texture. It wasn't just one. We were a group of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Everybody agreed they were bad. They should be ashamed to serve these. Didn't anybody notice leaving the kitchen they were unservable? So I would never consider here for take-out. But we were here for trivia night so maybe I'd try again to have something to eat while playing? But next time if they come out like that I'd be refusing delivery and demanding a new one - that's for sure. As far as the trivia, I might not return for that either. The room was very loud from the crowd, and the announcer's microphone never did work properly so it was very hard to hear. And, knowing how many good wines and beers they sell in the general store on the first floor, it is painful to have a choice of just 5 very generic wines upstairs. Why can't they offer all the wines from downstairs, with a reasonable mark-up for restaurant purchase of course?

Verona usually makes the best gyro wrap in the area with a good quanity of meat, but not this time. My gyro was take out and when I unwrapped it at home it looked as good as all the others I have eaten from there. The first bite I took was equivalent to taking a teaspoon of salt. I couldn't eat another bite and tossed it. I think over salting meat is to cover the taste of spoiled meat. I used to work in a sub shop. If you can't sell enough of the gyro to keep the supply fresh, then it should be taken off the menu all together. Subs and pizza are usually pretty good, that's why the 2 stars. I enjoy the photographs of Ayer in the early years as they hang on the wall. My confidence it lost in Verona. Service is as good as any sub shop. I won't go back.

But, that fish and chips is solid. Other menu items? Appetizers are ok but the onion rings I got were way over done and super greasy. Sounds like a fryer temp issue couple with forgetfulness. Service for takeout was ok. The inside isn't much to look at. No real atmosphere aside from "small town pizza shop". Looks like every other place out there. Price is fair. I think my steak and cheese sub and onion rings was about $20 with a drink. I wouldn't make a special trip just for this, but if you're close, it'll do in a pinch.
