Cutest little backyard restaurant with super friendly service and amazing food. The food is flavorful without being overly salty. I don't usually post on yelp and would hate to bring down a small business but unfortunately there are a few bones to pick I'm giving 2 stars because the food was actually delicious and the ambiance is great, some slowness because of it being a 3 person restaurant but that's expected why this is getting below average review is for 2 reasons 1. The location 2. Rats The location is not great, I feel awful for this guys neighbors because the street is filled with cars and the neighbors would seemingly be annoyed, it's a nice quiet neighborhood but lots of cars!!! Obviously it is a home restaurant but other times I've explored home restaurants in the area/riverside, it's been pick up based or reservation based so there's not much commotion but I've noticed some neighbors having kids going in and out and if I was living here with kids and having strangers around I would be pretty irked Now for the main reason for this review: the rats After finishing our meal and walking out we saw two rats running out the gate from the inside Obviously its just outside, but the restaurant is outside in the backyard and that was totally unexpected especially after we ate, we were horrified!!!!!! They live on a hill with a bunch of shrubs so if they have rats it makes sense, but when having food involved and people, that is disgusting and very unsafe Unfortunately we won't be back because of it, and I hope someone gets involved because with food handling and people around, someone will get sick!!! read more

What a gem that a place like this is in Corona and don't have to go to OC/more Vietnamese populated areas. First off they don't use MSG which is unheard of for beef pho. But that does not take away from the packed flavor from the broth. I down nearly all the broth and don't have a pho hangover or headache later in the day/night. The brisket is the most tender pho brisket I've ever had and this is compared to Sup, Phoholic, Pho 79 or the other top reviewed places that I personally have eaten multiple times and are part of my pho routine. Don't misunderstand my note, I am not saying it is better for other meats, I am strictly talking about that melt in your mouth brisket. My recommendation would be to get a brisket pho, but if you're a must combo type of person, just make sure there is brisket in it and you'll see what I mean. read more

I've been to a lot of different Vietnamese restaurants across the orange county/SoCal area, and this is a hidden gem I believe any fan of Pho should try. The restaurant itself features a clean patio seating area with an expansive view of Corona providing the main ambiance. As for the food, I tried a couple of dishes including the pork egg rolls and pho. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh, with a delightful salty pork and glass noodle filling, served alongside a peanut sauce that paired well. As for the pho, I ordered it with rare steak, and it was fantastic. The broth was clear and rich, not requiring me to resort to adding any hoisin or Sriracha to add flavor. The cut of beef was excellent, being tender yet lean, and was honestly the perfect topping. Overall, Tiny Saigon is a must try Vietnamese restaurant, even if you are inexperienced with the cuisine. The staff is made of the lovely family that lives here, so they are very friendly and attentive, willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu or cuisine. Tiny Saigon is a small restaurant operated out of the backyard of a family home here in a sleepy little neighborhood in Corona. As other reviewers have mentioned, they have all the permits and licenses necessary, so don't be afraid to check them out. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and led to a table. I don't know how busy they get usually, but we went around noon on Sunday and there was no wait whatsoever. Within minutes of being seated they were ready to take our orders, and within a few more minutes we had our food. We ordered the pho with rare steak, and I had a vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. The pho was fantastic, and was served with all the side vegetable staples. We also had access to all kinds of sauces and oils to add to it as we pleased, so we really couldn't have asked for more. The coffee was strong and just a little sweet, which was perfect for me. The prices were about what you'd expect for good pho. I didn't take a picture of the menu but it was about $15 a bowl. The service was polite and punctual, and since the venue itself is small it was pretty quiet and relaxing. All in all, Tiny Saigon is a local treat and if you're looking for a good, quiet spot to grab pho in the area, don't let yourself be put off by the quaint, personal setup they've got going on. I enjoyed my visit thoroughly and will be back the next time I'm looking for pho. PS: We'd love to see charbroiled beef added to the menu! read more
