LONG WAIT TIME! EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! I had an appointment @ 3 and ended up waiting over an hour. They do a decent job, but some of the techs have an attitude on them. I'm referring to Diana & Tony. Seriously NOT worth the wait. I also went in to have my nails removed the other day. They sat me down in a booth & I waited over an hour for any of them to start soaking my nails! It was ridiculous. I definitely won't be going back. There are MUCH better places in town. My number one go to nail salon. It's a small family owned salon with a welcoming family vibe. It's not super fancy but the service is by far the best I've had compared to the "north side" salons and spas. REASONABLY PRICED. My eyebrows always come out perfect here, my nails are always done by Carol she's booked a lot so try and set an appointment it if not the walk in wait is always worth it. I'm saddened to see all these bad reviews for my favorite nail salon. I have been going to tina nails consistently for about 8 months now and have always walked out happy. I don't have anyone in-particular who does my nails, everyone is great! I will admit that having an appointment doesn't always mean you won't have to wait and that's my reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5. Every time I go to w/ an appointment I'm in and out within an hour and a half (depending on what I'm getting) I usually go to Dianna for manicures and sets if she's unavailable I'll go to Carol, both are AWESOME! I always get exactly what I want which says a lot because I'm quite fastidious. Carol is the best at eyebrows and the pedicures are wonderful here as well. The only thing I don't like about it is the wait when I don't have an appointment but they do great work so it's well worth it. Bottom line is if you don't have a few hours, make an appointment. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was waiting over and hour and a half just for an eyebrow wax until I just walked out.

I went in around 7:08pm right after work because I don't want to go out with nails that NEED work. I usually go to Venice by Alamo Ranch but I wasn't sure I'd get there on time so I stopped here and they asked what I needed, I said a fill and they said they stopped doing fills since they close at 8pm which got me mad because how are you going to turn away business? They said "you can come again tomorrow." My reply was, "No thank you" and I walked out. I called Venice where I usually go and they said they'd still take me! Win win for me! :) read more

I had 3 pedi's done here and every experience got worse. I really liked Hope's work my 1st visit and made a request to have her do my pedi the 2nd time. It started off great but then she left the exfoliant on too long after she got a call and forgot about me. The exfoliant burned through my skin and caused abrasions on my feet. Then a young gentleman offered to finish my pedi and the rest was mediocre. Another time I made an appointment on a Sunday at 11am and they weren't even open! It was really busy on Friday afternoon with lots of regulars, so if you're not, or on a time frame, make an appointment -- we did and were moved to the front of the line. There were so many people there, though, that even after being taken back, we had to wait a few minutes for a technician to be done. I would to start off by saying HOW THE FUCK long these bitches took to take me . I got there at 2:30 and didn't leave till 4:30, all what I wanted was a simple full set. They told me I had to wait and hour before they could get started on me. Pretty much everyone who worked there only knew how to do ONE thing . Either eyebrows or nails. THEN...WHILE I was getting my nails done Caroline got up from doing my nails AT LEAST 3-4 times to cash someone out or help with someone else ,she even stopped to go do someone's eyebrows because "she had an appointment ." Like bro I don't give a fuck I been here a good 2 hours before the bitch with the appt. GET SOMONE ELSE TO DO IT AND FINISH MY SHIT . But this other fat one was complaining that she couldn't stand up to do brows bc she got dizzy or whatever. So I'm already livid trying not to make a scene . Before she does my nails she asked me if I want to pay before she starts PROBABLY because she thinks I'm going to walk out on that bitch w/o paying KNOWING how pissed I was from my face. As she was doing them I didn't even want to look at her I was so mad. Towards the end I asked if I was going to get some type of discount considering how long it took for them to get started and all that and they have the audacity to tell me "oh well we didn't charge you for the take off(fake nail) " like girl all you did was get another fake nail and pop it off the old one I COULDVE DONE THAT WHILE I WAS WAITMG FOR 2 HOURS. I just rolled my eyes and gave her the cash. The only reason why I didn't leave earlier was because when I had previously got my nails done at another place the person doing it wasn't even certified and you could obviously tell bc he was doing everything wrong ...ughhh I just need a good place to get my nails done so I can relax. They do an amazing job with mani's and pedi's also, these girls are truly talented and their prices are reasonable for everything. Yes they get busy because they're that good! My daughter and i had our nails done here a week ago at the suggestion of a friend. My daughter had dip nails done, 3 of them peeled off/chipped after 5 days. I had a full set done and they looked pretty decent BUT now on day 8, they are ALL lifting/two are about to come off... Prices aren't too steep, but at the same time you get what you pay for... and I must say it was worth it! I waited less than 5 minutes and the manucurist (I believe her name was Tina) was AWESOME!
