Tin Roof is most definitely a must stop when in Indianapolis. Featuring live music and decent drink prices, you can never go wrong. A crisp beer and loaded tots to start the night, didn't miss at all!

Place is a great starter for the evening. Our waitress Jessica was awesome and timely. Also, avoid the actual holes in the men's restroom . Seriously tomb raider dodging holes.

Didn't have any food here, but came here for New Years Eve! Drinks were priced as I expected, not anything too crazy. I got drunk so that was good. Bartenders were quick and nice! Line for bathrooms was insane. Waited for almost 30 minutes. Just was so busy so can't really blame them. Live music was so fun! The DJ was a nice guy and the band was fun. Overall had a great time with my boyfriend. Happy New Year!

I'm giving this place stars based on what it is. So is it your top of the line lounge with fantastic cocktail menu? No, its a bar with plastic cups and cheap drinks! We decided to stop in here after dinner just to grab a quick nite cap before heading home. It was about 8pm and it wasn't packed at all. We were able to grab a seat at the bar. There was no cover at that time. There was an amazing band playing. They were playing everything from Prince to Redhot Chilli Peppers, just a really good mix of music. The bartenders were super nice and provided great service. I ordered a flavored vodka drink and soda water, I can't recall how much it was but I remember it being cheap. As the night continued it started to get more and more crowded and they were charging a $5 cover. That's about the time we made our exit but I can tell if you want to have a good time, this would be the place to come.

Hate that Tin Roof isn't getting the amount of business that they did pre-Covid. I think that there is a large stigma around this being only a place for drinks but the food is actually really good! Still typical American bar food, but you can't beat it. The Nashville locations have people coming in for lunch and dinner all the time, and I wish the same thing would happen for Indy! Even if you're not looking for food, the drinks are well priced and always live music. Only giving this place a four stars because I miss the traditional country/cover band music...they recently only have DJs, but maybe that's because of COVID. But maybe that's your type of thing, so regardless go listen to some music, eat good food, and drink a little drink!

This is your sign to grab your friends and head to Tin Roof for a Sunday Funday! With their live music and friendly staff, you and your crew are sure to have a fun time! We dropped in after brunch and had a few bottles of champagne, listened to live music, and just enjoyed being out and about. The staff are always super friendly and inviting, there's plenty of big tables to hold your groups, and mimosas to go around!

I have a soft…read moreplace in my heart for Tufty Clough's Radio Radio, a Fountain Square live music spot since 2001 and absolutely one of my favorite places to hear live music in Indy. Radio Radio is a 21 and over, general admission concert venue that offers table and lounge seating on a first-come/first-serve basis with the rest being standing room only (or sitting in my case, eh?). They offer full bar service and have specialty craft cocktails at select shows. Radio Radio is only open during shows with doors opening an hour before the first act is scheduled to play. It's a smoke-free facility, though it's my understanding you can smoke out back. Radio Radio has a really killer vibe with a weaving together of style, substance, retro, and probably a few other things. I don't get to Radio Radio nearly enough, but every time I go I'm like "Man, I need to come here more often." There are free parking lots in various locations around Fountain Square along with street parking in spots. Curb cuts are plentiful in Fountain Square, though it is an older part of the city so there are occasional sidewalk cracks. The front entrance is perfectly accessible and the venue itself is fairly solid, though the "Standing Room Only" shows can be a challenge. My understanding is they'll try to work with you with advance notice, though I have to be honest and say I've never had any difficulties as without exception I've found Radio Radio crowds to be respectful of wheelchair users when they show up. I've always been able to see, though I do typically arrive early just to make sure. Radio Radio's sound system was updated a few years ago and the sound is extremely awesome now. Acts range from local bands to up-and-coming regional and national acts or bands with more of a cult following. Concert capacity is right around 250. There's also this incredibly beautiful winding bar. Employees are friendly and helpful, drink prices are fair (especially for music venues), solid craft beer options, and I just love this entire vibe. It is worth noting that Radio Radio does not do food. If you don't know David "Tufty" Clough, he was the longtime bassist for Toxic Reasons and also for Zero Boys. He was also one of my first artist interviews when I was in college (so, yes. I'm a longtime fan). He also used to own Broad Ripple's Future Shock. This is an awesome venue and one of the better mid-sized options here in Indy. If you've never seen a show, I highly recommend it.

She was being her funny and skinny and calm self, playing some of her songs from her Lost in Space album, which, at this point, is like an appendage of my body in musical form. Her album is a part of me. The Vogue is a small venue, but not extremely so. There is balcony seating, and a bar in the balcony, but you need to pay extra for this area. General admission is downstairs, and it's standing-room only. I know on the website it says that a general admission ticket grants you access to the upstairs, but when I went up there, I was immediately told that the tables were for people who paid extra. I considered paying the extra however-much-it-costs so I could sit down, but I decided to thug it out and found a corner downstairs, on the side by the stairs, to post up. Even though I was standing to the side, I still had a great view! I've seen Aimee Mann in concert one other time (she played at Royce Hall in Los Angeles with Rufus Wainwright, a long time ago), but I had never been this close to her. It was an amazing experience. There's a big bar downstairs, and they were super quick to get me my plastic cup of Moscow mule. FYI: This is not the place to get wine! They have a couple of cans of wine, but nothing in a bottle. They mostly have beer and mixed drinks. Before the concert, I was looking at all of the photos lining the walls of the bands and musicians who have played at The Vogue. It's impressive! This music venue has a long history. Lots of people have played at this humble place in Broad Ripple, which is pretty cool.

Called at 6 and got a reservation for 8, for 5 of us on a Saturday night. This is kind of an anomaly for any restaurants off Mass Ave. We were seated right away and started with drinks and apps. We got "Disco Boys" and "I'm too pretty for this" cocktails which were tasty - kudos for the fun cocktail names. Calamari, Artisan, and Charcuterie came shortly after. There's a few different options of cheeses and meats, it's sort of a choose your own adventure situation. All were good, especially the calamari. A lot of restaurants tend to overcook it and the calamari gets rubbery, not the case here. Our entrees came out next and I made sure to try a bite of everyone's LOL. The standout of all the entrees was definitely the "Duck, duck" which was, obviously, duck. The runner up would definitely have to be the chicken cacciatore.
