Catering sandwiches
Kelsey K.

Ordered for catering here for a work function last week! Sandwiches were great! Just be aware their 20 person platter only give half a sandwich per person so either order for double the amount or plan for sides! We got 2 20 person platters and a 10 person platter for 25 people and there was just the right amount of left overs!

This is the quickest, easiest, and is a very cheap option for some soup and sandwiches. Everything comes out a little over 5 minutes and the service is great. Even though it's small it so perfect and cozy. I come here all the time. And I really recommend.

Good lunch spot! Tomato basil soup was on point and not too heavy. Alamo panini tasted great too

If you want a panini this is the place to come! It was pretty exceptional. I got the Alamo (with extra tomatoes) and it was so good! The bread they use gives the best bite of flavor. My husband got the High Noon and it was also quite the exception. His had a great heat in each bite of jalapeño. Next time I will for sure be adding jalapeño. The only thing I critique is their "fries". I mean...let's call them slivered potato chips if we are being honest here. Kinda just a mess on the plate and not worth being a side. However paying only 50 cents more for a salad is way worth it! We each got potato soup along with our meal. Very well made! My son chopped his grilled cheese down too! The owner is friendly and walked around the restaurant checking on things. The decor is very old but this place doesn't need high fashion with how yummy they are. Great place!

Just delicious! What a gem we have in The Tin Cup here in Arlington! This is a small, clean shop in the UTA area with a unique sandwich menu and friendly service. There are so many interesting menu choices, it was hard to settle on just two. We decided to try The Sundance and The Doc Holiday and both were amazing. Delicious sandwiches served with shoestring potatoes and a cookie. YUM! All drinks are $2.55, You can choose between a bottled soda or a few different varieties of tea you can put in a to-go cup with ice. I opted for the unsweet tea and it was top-notch. If you are in the mood for a delicious and affordable lunch, head over to The Tin Cup!

This place is great! Extremely helpful, friendly staff; and delicious food. I recommend the "High Noon" panini (pastrami and jalapeno).

Please please get the Alamo! The panini is grilled to perfection and the chocolate chip cookie was a nice addition to complete the meal :)

I had the Sunrise. The sandwich and tea were great. I wasn't crazy about the skinny-fry chips.

It is a nice little restaurant. Not worth going across town for, but if the location is convenient you might stop in.

Wow. Service is amazing. Food is amazing and their fresh tea is very good too. The chicken and dumplings are just like my grandmothers.

Drove by at 2:30p today to eat and they were closed. Anyone know what's up with that? It was December 1st at 2:30. If you guys are going to be closed you can easily change your hours on yelp and google under "special hours" so people don't try to go.

Just saw this, If it was right after Thanksgiving, we did close for the extended weekend, but there’s no reason we should’ve been closed at 2:30pm outside of that. What day…

Well that's right up my alley. Casual, affordable, comfortable, not-overly-complicated, easy-breezy-cheese-y with a side of literature. I had the "Killed Cheese," a three-cheese ooey-gooey sandwich on gluten free bread with a side of chips, plus an iced latte with "Righteous" syrup (brown sugar cinnamon). Everything was delicious. My only disappointment was that I forgot to order the tomato soup as well.. oops. Definitely next time. Jon had the "Molten Philly Madness" on sourdough and it smelled incredible -- he ate every bite. Smash Toast makes fresh bread daily. Their menu is small but mighty and I look forward to visiting regularly.

It was burger night and we found a well recommended restaurant that we drive by when traveling in…read morethe area but never noticed it. Maybe Kroger is so dominant that it over shadows the other business. The order counter is at the front with drinks in a refrigerator and home made tea adjacent. We sat ourselves at a table and started a conversation with a couple that frequently dines here. The man stated the French fries are the best in the area. They are double fried with Lawry's seasoning. They were eating their favorite, a Philly cheesesteak and. Chicken sandwich. We ordered mushroom Swiss burger and Big Tex. French fries and sweet potato fries. When I tasted the fries, I confirmed the man's acclimation that the fries are the best around. Our burgers were equally good, very moist and cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable. This is now one of our go-to burger restaurants.

I ordered my usual char-broiled double cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings, which never disappoints. I also decided to try the char-grilled Maxwell street Polish sausage with sport peppers and cheese sauce. I really enjoyed the beef sandwich and I always get it baptize. I like to order extra dipping sauce with it so I can just drown it haha. My favorite are the hot dogs, which is what they are know for. I love the chicago style dogs and I love adding ketchup and mustard to my hot dogs. For the side I really enjoy getting a side of cheese and dipping my fries into it, thank me later. The onion rings are also worth a mention, they are well made, crispy and full of flavor. I also had their shakes before and they were pretty good. I once had their chocolate cake and it was very rich in flavor and not dry at all like other cakes. I always eat in the diner because I love how they have decorated the space. It reflects the history of the city of Arlington. It is a mix of car decor honoring the GM plant and part of the decor is also bowling, to honor the national bowling museum and headquarters located in arlington. I love how its so big and spacious. They also sell beer but I never purchase any but thats a cool concept. The staff keeps the place nice and clean, i love how they say your order number and make it rhyme with something. Example 'order #9 is time to dine"
