My first time here and Garrett and Mark was so helpful in helping me decide on which bike helmet and lock was right for me. Garett even hooked me up with free valve covers. I was outside using their handy clean station before taking off and Mark generously helped me adjust the seat angle on my bike.

It's a nice "entry level" bike but almost impossible to upgrade parts and I quickly ended up wanting something nicer and full suspension. I began scouring the internet and YouTube learning about modern trends and popular brands to figure out what bike to get. I discovered Bicycle Centres via Yelp and popped in to look at some options they had on their site. As soon as I walked in, Will stopped what he was doing to greet me and ask if I needed help. The vibe of the place was good immediately and the selection is better than any other shop I've been to recently. Will is a stud and showed me a bike I hadn't considered that had similar features to what I came in to see. He knows his stuff and answered all my numerous questions as I held him hostage. All of the other employees I interacted with were great as well. I ended up with a sweet bike, a huge upgrade from the hard tail and I'm pumped to pick it up tomorrow. Overall my experience was awesome and I believe this is the best shop in the area. Just be careful pulling into the parking lot. It's tight!

Sharing Wheels partners up and donates a bunch of refurbished bicycles to them. If that's not awesome enough, read on. I came in because my bike chain was out of alignment and brake cables needed to be replaced. The staff member, Jon, was super friendly and took it on immediately like a live YouTube session just for me -- even though he did first say, "This is really easy; are you sure you don't want to just buy the parts and do it yourself?" "Nah, do it for me... but thanks for not upselling me when you had the chance." I can now ride my bike again! Better yet, while my snooty cyclist friend told me not to put any money into my old a$$ bike, Jon came from the mindset that Sharing Wheels propagates: Don't add to the landfill if you can still ride the bike! He even complimented my bike: "Your friend is right -- this bike is old and you would do better selling it for parts than ever selling it outright, but it's in great condition and has excellent components, so enjoy it!" Of note, Sharing Wheels has good pricing (see my pics), though I'll admit I don't know the going dates for such things. Bottom line: Yay, Sharing Wheels! Screw you, snooty friend.
