I had a flat on my fat tire e bike and these guys really helped me get back on the road quickly. I am appreciative of the knowledge and advice I received. I hope to do more business with them in the future. read more

Great store! Helpful staff and a broad inventory of bikes and accessories. I'll go back for all my bike and e-bike needs!

We have been here a few times already. I was particularly looking for a mountain bike for my son. Of course we tried out a few cycle centers near by. We decided to buy it from here. Mainly because of the amazing service. Right from the day we walked in to check their collection, the staffs were amazing. So helpful with the suggestions, explained the pros and cons - really helped us to pick up the right one. Once we decided to buy it, then they made the whole process very easy - did the customization like we needed. Assembled everything and ready for pick up in about 2 hrs. We went back for some additional parts later. Smooth experience. Recommend this place if you are looking to buy or repair the bikes. read more

I wish I could give 100000000 stars to Jonah! He is a stellar employee and gets the job done! He helped my dad and I fix his flat and actually find the problem. If you go here make sure to ask for Jonah if you want an experience that will send you out the door happier then when u entered! He is amazing! Thank uouuuu read more

Shout out to Holden for taking in my bike near close while I was interrupted on my ride. My hanger got bent somehow and didn't notice until a climb midway through. I detoured to this local shop and they were all so nice. Holden was willing to answer all my questions and take his time fixing the hanger so it got back in alignment and I was back on the road. Always try to support your local shops! Thank you! read more

We did a full bike build for my son here. They walked us through full process from frame up on a hardtail roller track build. We worked through some hiccups together as any custom bike will. Communication and advice were paramount in us completing our goal. We have bought 3 bikes beyond this transaction and always left happy. read more

I haven't ridden my bike in ages. I used to commute to Seattle during the weekdays and ride trails on the weekend. My bike was setup with front shocks when they first came out in the 90's. My son used the bike when he attended college 8 years ago and then found it way to my garage, after he graduated, and has been there ever since. Anyway, it is a beloved bike, but also neglected. I've passed Bicycle Centre near Silver Lake for years and finally decided to give life to my bike for a third time. I grabbed my bike from the garage and hauled it to the store, one Wednesday. I met several guys from the shop as soon as I pulled up and they assisted in getting my bike to the Service Dept. Will conducted the assessment. He was thorough and knowledgeable. He suggested a Tune-up with tires, chain, and brakes getting a do-over. There were some other parts that needed replaced and Will was able to locate those parts in their partner store in the area. It seemed like a lot of work, but everything was completed in a few days as promised. I was impressed with their professionalism. I highly recommend Bicycle Centre of Silver Lake for any bike repairs you may need. read more

Quick electric bike repair. Nice customer service. Needed gear work and brakes. Price was fine.

I've been coming to this bike shop for years and will never return. I brought my daughter's bike in to get her derailer fixed. The tech talked me into a full service tune-up. I told him I needed it by the next weekend as we were leaving for a bicycle trip in Bend the following Monday. He told me a one week turnaround would be tight but they could get it done by Friday. Lo and behold, I go to pick the bike up on Saturday, as he directed, and they hadn't even started it and wouldn't before we left. So now I'm leaving for a bike trip with an inoperable bike. If they'd just fixed the derailer like I asked, I'd be set. But instead they had to upsell services and couldn't do the job we agreed upon. Be forewarned. Very disappointing. read more

Courtesy, honesty and helpful every time I have walked out the door I felt good about the interaction. I definitely willl bring my bike back. read more

Great service, always getting my bicycle on time as promised by assigned technician, I would have thought it might take longer since the pandemic working shop schedule is shorter than norm. Highly Recommended. read more

I went in looking for a particular bike, but Will suggested a couple others that might be a better fit. I ended up finding the perfect bike, and the transaction and first follow up minor tweak/repair were great. In these days where finding a suitable bike is really difficult, Will was receptive, knowledgeable, and happy to help out in any way that he could. I appreciate his overall approach to helping bike customers. Specialized ftw! read more

I brought my son's bike in because the front brakes were busted. I had never been here before. Wow. This is a professional bike shop. New bikes for sale were everywhere: on the floor, up the wall, hanging from the ceiling. There's even some kind of station where serious competitors can get every nuance of their bike and gear adjusted to their body. I counted at least 5 employees working on the Monday mid-morning when I arrived. Someone greeted me right away and said a tech would take a look and give me an estimate. 3 minutes later a tech is wheeling out my sons bike saying "all fixed". I guess he had spun his handle bars around and it pulled the brake lines and bent the metal. The tech bent them back. For free! The brakes work great, for now! The places where the metal was bent are now weak points and will inevitably break so the tech gave me a ball park estimate of what that would cost to fix just so I know. Talk about stellar customer service! Whenever my sons bike encounters its next calamity, I won't hesitate to bring it here! read more

Not safe for immunocompromised!!! Two employees not wearing masks the entire time I was in the store. Mike who seemed to be the only person doing anything was extremely professional and kept his mask on at all times and quickly fixed our issue. Had it not been for him it would be 1 star as he did everything in his power to provide excellent and safe service. read more

Great, great experience at BC of Silverlake. I brought my 19 year old Specialized bike in for a tune up - and, as it turns out, an old bike can indeed be brought back to excellent condition, thanks to the service techs! Srsly, I think it rides smoother than when it was brand new. Shifts gorgeously, and there are no little ticks coming from the gearing or chain, like how a bike sounds when it's not fully in gear. The staff was very cool with me. The new Secialized (old man type) padded seat I had put on is also a dream on my behind quarters. read more

Fantastic bike shop with awesome people. Best technical work around if you need a tune up or anything fixed. Kris, Ron, and Ryan are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great people all around. read more

I've been here a couple of times. Fixing my granddaughter's bike wheel was fairly straightforward and easy. I also brought in my bike for a tune up. Because they were so backed up, it took 3 weeks to get it back. All good, it wasn't a surprise about how long it took. But I'm really having trouble getting my gears to change. I took it back for them to look at, but they insist that it's fine. I ride the bike, and I cannot get the from gears to change. I'll have to try another bike shop. read more

Very disappointed with how they are operating during COVID-19. There were a ton of employees and not one had a mask. No one washed their hands. They said they don't even have hand sanitizer, they just have "dawn dish soap in the back". They are touching everyone bicycles without gloves or washing hands in between bikes. I saw a few of them touch their faces. Very disappointing!!! read more

Came in because I had trouble removing my BB and old headset cups from my old Bianchi frame. Not sure who was the gentleman who helped me out but they took in my bike and told me Id get the frame back latest by the following day. The following day I had trouble setting in my starnut and crownrace on my new fork so I brought it in hoping they didnt start working on my frame yet. They had already finished my frame but took in my fork to work on it regardless.. (it was pretty busy at the time) and didnt charge extra for the starnut/crownrace install... Overall great customer service.. personable team of techs and sales. Great first experience here (& i dont stop by bike shops often) will stop by again for a tune-up on my main commuter. Thanks for assisting with my project build! (Pics Before and after) read more

Excellent service overall . I know they are very busy but was they were able to fix my bike ahead of the planned pick up. Thank you!

Customer service at its best. I bought a few things on line only to find it there cheaper with great service!

Prompt professional service for bicycle pedal threading. Prices are competitive and offers good costumer care.

The sales people were amazing! They were knowledgable, helpful, and answered every question without judgement. I had no idea what I was doing, and they did. When I told them why I was buying shoes, they knew what level of shoe to recommend and which brands were likely to feel good based on my foot size and shape. They explained the benefits of each shoe I was considering. I only tried on two pairs before purchasing, which never happens for me. The staffer helping me also offered to put the cleats on my shoes for me. I was blown away by the staff. I also enjoyed the variety of products to choose from in a variety of price ranges, and that they carry quality brands. read more

Life has been so busy that I thought I would take my bike to Bicycle Center of Silverlake. I usually do all my own work on my bikes, but I was rushed. My disc brakes were screaming, and I knew I needed new pads and the rotors sanded. I could have done it myself but thought this would really help me to meet some deadlines. After 3 days I called, and they said the bike was ready and that they had called and left a message. There wasn't any message on my phone? Anyway, I went to pick up the bike and the employee working told me that it would be $116.00. I asked how much the pads/work was and he said $105.00. I asked him if he/they could make it a even $100 and I would pay the tax on top of that. He said, "Oh, we can't give any discounts at all!" Really??? My girlfriend used to be part owner of a bike shop. My best friend is the owner of the Spoke Shop in Billings, MT. Everyone knows there is a huge markup on bikes! I wanted to see how friendly and neighborly my local bike shop was. Five bucks,, really? I didn't want to quibble about it. Paid the $116.00, grabbed the bike and no more Bicycle Center! P. S. When I got home, I noticed they took the factory screw in bolts that hold the brake pads together and tossed them. They used cotter keys in place of them. That's just crap, I mean Great!!! read more

Friendly staff and reasonable price. I tried assembling a bike I got from amazon but it had missing bolts and a bad tube. They only charge me for a tube replacement and Alex helped me out with the missing bolts and put the fenders together. It was a smooth positive experience! read more

An excellent bike shop. The range of customers they can serve is incredible for such a modestly sized location. It's a testament to manager Ryan Brown and his crew's ability to know just what people need, whether they are getting their first bike or ordering and building the pro-level bike of their dreams. In fact, I've purchased both of these types of bikes for my family and myself. Ryan is also the best bike mechanic I have met in 20 years of riding. If you're looking to fix or buy anything related to bikes- for the widest range of customers- this is the place to go. read more

I've only had positive experiences at Bicycle Centres in Mill Creek. Just this past weekend they helped me with new shoes I had purchased by helping me with clips. First time ever going to this shop. Alex greeted us and asked how he could help. Gave great info on what I was looking for. Gave advice on current bike that I purchased elsewhere. Prices are super high but assortment is great and staff is super friendly and professional. Will come more often now!

Nothing like being upsold on every little thing. I brought my kids bike into the shop and paid to have the tires replaced. They literally going to charge me $7.50 to tighten a bolt. Absolutely ridiculous! I'll be taking my business somewhere else. read more

Took my Schwinn bike in that I had just purchased used. I was greeted and helped right away. I can't believe I have never put this bike shop on YELP. It has always been a great shop to repair and tune up our bikes. They are friendly, honest, fair, hardworking .I recently broke my ankle and have had to use a knee stroller. The turning mechanism was not longer working so I couldn't turn the wheels very well. Not only could they repair it but it was a better mechanism than the original and $40 cheaper!. The turn over time was incredible and now I have my knee stroller back and am ready to roll. My husband and I love this place. Great Work! Susan/Dale read more

Absolutely Horrible. I will neer buy anything from this store again. I bought a bike and it was a warranty claim 11 days into ownership. That is not a big deal it happens. The Bike was warranted and a new one shipped out, again great. Upon arrival I was told bike would be assembled on that day or the next. That has turned in to twice that and what amazes me is that for the kind of coin the bike cost it would have been a no brainer to get the bike out for 1) customer satisfaction. 2) Reflect good on the shop itself. and the most important one would be to represent the brand the best way possible. I can say for sure I will never go there again. I may even do a less than thirty day return on the bike just to take my money back from these clowns. If I was the owner I would be pretty upset with this type of stuff going on. Shame they share the same name as the Everett Store. read more

this shop is pretty awesome i wasn't sure if i wanted to buy a bike, but Chris asked me what my price range was and he found a bike that was perfect for me. the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and just want the customer to be happy. I was very impressed with their customer service when i arrived it was like i was buying a new car in fact better then buying a new car. the prices are very reasonable, and comparable. if you are in the market for a new bike i would definitely recommend this shop. They are very honest and have awesome products. i know that i have found a bike shop that i will always be coming back to. read more

I was very impressed by this bike shop. I went in looking for a new bike, and the employee who helped me was very attentive, carefully adjusting each bike I took for a test ride, checking my riding position on each bike before I rode it. (This was in marked contrast to another shop I visited, where the employee didn't even bother to check the tire inflation before I rode.) I didn't end up buying a bike there, but my experience was good enough that they won me as a customer. I will certainly return for bike clothes and accessories. read more
