At this point, the number of times the train has been stopped for some technical reason while we're trapped inside is in the double digits. Perfectly fine…read more Details (doing this random review here rather than on google because i'd rather our corporate overlords not fully track me) : K D Elite Transprotation is perfectly fine. We were with 10 other people who were shuttled to a friends wedding by K D Elite. Here'e the thing, the driver of the huge bus got lost getting to the Springhill Suites in Aberdeen where we all were (which seems weird as its not that hard to get to). Apparently his GPS led him the wrong way. that's fine, we had plenty of time to get there, we would have only missed the schmoozing. Also, there'd been miscommunication between the company and the bride and groom leading into the wedding about pick-up times. They wanted to pick us up at 11:15pm, 45 minutes after the wedding ended and the bride spent hours on the phone with them telling them to change this. On my end i'm just confused why they sent such a huge bus for 12 people? Honestly I give this company 3 stars because our driver Harris was great and should get a huge raise. Especially because someone blew threw a red light on our way to wedding and hit the bus. Everyone was okay, thankfully. but yeah.

Word of mouth spreads fast.

Although you can go through the cruise line itself to purchase the ticket, The Cruise Lady will work with you face-to-face, giving you inside tips on the ship itself and what plan will best fit your particular situation. Because of their years of cruising experience, you will be given information about various facts, such as: how the different cruise lines add up, what destinations are best, how to prepare for the trip, the different activities available, extra and hidden charges, and accounts of what they themselves had to go through. I look forward to going here each visit and catching up on what is new in the cruising industry and the most recent regulations.

If you live in Baltimore, you can appreciate the beauty of this old train station. It is the main…read moretrain station in Baltimore and was designed by New York architect Kenneth MacKenzie Murchison. As I said, it is old and was built in 1911 in the Beaux-Art style. Thankfully, there has been some renovations that were completed in 2024 that included a newly polished façade, refurbished windows, new roof, and upgraded lighting. You can now see the beautiful color of the green tiles that were part of the original design of the station that have been hidden for years. It was wonderful to see our local train station restored to its former glory. When you look at the front, you will see five rounded openings and three central archways that are used as the entrances to the station with sets of triple doors. When you step inside, do look up and take in the beautiful, domed, stained-glass skylights. Moving along, there is a waiting area for passengers with old wooden benches. Thankfully, there are elevators to take you down to the tracks if you need it. What is still ugly to me, but fine for others, is the sculpture out front. It just does not go with the beauty of this train station. It was placed there in 2004 and sculpted by Jonathan Borofsky as the centerpiece of a re-designed plaza in front of Penn Station. It is a 51-foot-tall aluminum statue, named Male/Female. You be the judge if it belongs here or not! We used the Red Cap Service at Penn Station in Baltimore to catch our Acela train to New York. Tracey, the Red Cap, was such a help to us. She expertly took us and our luggage down to the train with plenty of time to board, store our luggage in the train car, and get us settled. We were in the quiet car, which we appreciated. Although this Acela was not one of the new trains, we had an uneventful ride to New York with no delays due to the hot weather.

We had a small group of four and visited Attman's, Isabella's brick oven, La Tavola, and Osteria Da Amedeo. Food tours are great way of seeing what local life is like and skipping to the front of the line to taste a variety of dishes. We saw historic sites like the Lloyd street synagogue, Corned beef row, the Carroll Mansion, Reginald F. Lewis museum, and birthplace of the Star spangled banner flag. It was about a 3.5 hour walking tour and there were intermittent breaks to eat in restaurants. Before this tour I had no idea there was a 'Little Italy' or a 'Corned beef row' and how much history these places had from the restaurants started by immigrants in the 1800s. It also makes a difference having an enthusiastic group and getting to know everyone. This tour is highly recommended.
