Baltimore's Light Rail, which as part of the Baltimore Link rebranding initiative is now formally called Light RailLink, runs from Hunt Valley in Baltimore County to Glen Burnie (Cromwell) in Anne Arundel County, 30 miles south. The Convention Center station is one of 33 stops on the Light Rail and is right next to the Baltimore Convention Center. It is also one block away from Camden Yards and the Royal Farms Arena. There are many other attractions close by as well as eateries, hotels and restaurants. The station is a simple outdoor platform with minimal signage and very few places to escape the elements. I think of the light rail as being a single north-south line with a branch for Penn Station and a branch for BWI airport but technically there are three routes as follows: 1. Hunt Valley-BWI (Blue) 2. Hunt Valley-Cromwell (Yellow), and 3. Penn Station-Camden Yards (Red) All three lines come through the Convention Center Station so be sure you get on the correct train if leaving from this station. Since this station is right in the city there is not any parking here.

I, as a local, as well as a friend visiting from out of town both equally enjoyed the evening. in a few of the locations it was hard to hear but we just leaned in and it was all good. Only 1 helpful hint: bring cash w smaller bills so you can pay for drinks/tip and go and not have to wait for change or receipts. Bus is comfortable, heater and ac worked with our various needs. Plenty of snacks and water available (I didn't read the flyer well enough to understand that I could bring my own alcohol and snacks-but it must've been clear, to the others who did! ) They let us tune our (chosen DJ) music from a cell through their Bluetooth. And even had the owner OVERaccomodate, by meeting us with pizza at the second stop when none of the places offered a food truck option! We left on time and got back safely in time and despite the rain we had a blast. This city-run service has three routes. The boats are clean and easy to board. You can walk a bike on them as well. The rides from point to point are only about 8-10 minutes, and very enjoyable on a cool/warm day.

As we entered, the tables on the main deck were arranged to fit party groups of either 6 or 8 guests and a table for 2. The buffet food was arranged at the front of the dining area and the musician (acoustic guitar) next to it. He did a wonderful job of singing and playing both guitar and harmonica. Upstairs, they had tall tables with a few metallic stools. So happy the room was air-conditioned. Serve yourself was near immediate. Bar and drinks were upstairs on the observation deck. Soft drinks and tea were included. The accommodations up there were tall tables and a few metallic stools To the food: The assorted greens salad was fresh with your choice of salad dressings. Then rolls with real butter, followed with spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta with shrimp and parmesan, and chicken parm cutlets. Potato salad and a caprese salad of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes topped with a balsamic dressing. There was enough for seconds. Close to the end of the cruise, they brought out some desserts that looked like magazine quality. Cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, carrot cake, and lemon bars. All were very rich, and nothing was left. The staff could not have been nicer and very efficient. It's a really great crew. There is plenty of free parking. One note, this is not a wheelchair accessible due to a series of steps.

Larceny is a major…read moreproblem on the light rail myself have a phone stolen back in September of 2016 by a juvenile delinquent. Also the prices continue to go up from $3.20 to $3.40 and now to $3.60. The route the light-rail takes also goes through several shady areas of the city. A specific station drivers as good as it gets it is not far from 83 and has a large parking lot of over 800 spaces. Also the last time I was on it was over age 40 minutes away without an explanation cauldron dozens of Ravens fans to be late for the preseason game. Afterward the Light Rail sat at several spots. First in between the two stadiums then near Camden Yards I'm finally almost 10 minutes at North Avenue.

Don't know how to brew - NO PROBLEM Don't Have the supplies and equipment to Brew - NO PROBLEM Don't mind waiting 2 weeks for you Beer to ferment - THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU! So as I said our company offered employees a Home Brew experience as one of the options for our summer event this year, you can choose from 2 types of beer to brew, then you wait and about a week before the event a big box off supplies and equipment arrives at your door. The day before the event you get an e-mail with a zoom meeting invite for the actual event, along with some instructions so you are ready when the class starts. Our Instructors were Mike and Kevin, they meeting started on time and while the is some downtime while the water boils and the grains steep Mike and Kevin kept things interesting with helpful hints and tips, Brewing history, the reasons why you are going what you are doing at a certain time, what happens when you do certain things, why those things are good, bad or necessary and what to expect in the next two weeks while you are waiting for your beer to finish. There were some questions from our group and Mike answered them all, he was very knowledgeable about beer and the process of making beer. While I don't think I will become a master brewer and take up brewing as a full time hobby I did very much enjoy the experience and found it very informative and educational . If you like beer, or even if you are not a huge fan (yes we had one in our group and he enjoyed the class as well) I would highly recommend trying this type of event at least once, just so you know a little more about beer. Based on my experience with this home brew event I would be very willing to attend one of City Brew Tours in person events when things open back up again. (And when I'm in a city they serve) Highly recommended just for the fun of it or if you want to try brewing but are afraid to go it alone the first time. 5 Stars for the event 10 stars for Mike and Kevin
