    Uber needs to educate their drivers on their own service dog policies. They also need to actually do something when one of their drivers discriminates and denies someone service because of their service dog. They give the same copy and paste response each time saying we're sorry you experienced this. It goes against our policies. An investigation has been started blah, blah, blah. They never actually do anything about it and don't give you a number to call and talk to someone. You can only message them. I have never been more disrespected or discriminated against until I had to go out of town to get seen at Johns Hopkins. I trusted Uber's policies even though I have heard nothing but horror stories from people with service dogs. As you can see, my girl is in a vest which is clearly marked she's a service dog, even though legally she doesn't have to be. She is also very well trained. I was denied service three times in less than a 48 hour timeframe! And harassed by two drivers because of her. I even paid extra to use Uber pet to ensure I wouldn't get denied service, which I should not have had to do per their own policy!! The first two drivers didn't even stop. They saw her, drove right past us, and cancelled the ride. The third guy stopped and rolled down his window and asked what kind of dog she is. I stated she is a service dog. He then said he couldn't have any dogs in the car and I should have informed him I had a dog. I told him he cannot deny me service because of her and that if he cancelled, I would file a complaint. He then got extremely aggressive and said he was allergic. I stated that per the policy, allergies is not a reason to deny service. Then he said he had a rental car and Hertz doesn't allow pets in the car. I stated she isn't a pet and it is a federal law that she cannot be denied because she is a service dog. I asked him to just cancel so I could get another ride. He kept arguing and saying he wasn't discriminating against us. I said he absolutely was. Then he said if he let her in the car he would lose his job and his job and as more important than my dog. I asked him again to cancel so I could get another ride. He kept refusing, I kept asking. He then said "you're an a-hole" and said he was cancelling because I was being aggressive and not because of the dog. We all know he was just trying to cover his own a&& and made up an excuse he thought would be acceptable. The last guy showed up and let us in. I thanked him and was about to say he was going to get a great tip because the previous two drivers denied us. Before I could say that, he went off on me. He said I should have informed him sooner I had a dog so that he could have cancelled and not waited until he got there. I told him he can't cancel because she is a service dog. He said he was allergic to dogs. I pointed out the policy again and asked to get out since he didn't want us in there anyway. He said "it's too late. I'm already here" and would not let us out. He kept going on and I told him it is not only a federal law but Uber's own policy and I read him the policy word for word. He finally stopped. Both my daughter in law and myself felt so uncomfortable in that situation. I will NEVER use Uber ever again. Do not use them if you have a service dog. It's worth paying a little more to use Lyft and avoid the harassment and discrimination. I am reporting this to the ADA. It's unacceptable behavior.

    this review is about Postmates via Uber eats. today my family decided to order pizza from pizza boils. when we got the pizzas,we open the box the find the pizzas sitting and a pool of oil. we used napkins the remove the oil only to pull a slice pizza and with the pull there was a hair in our food... we pulled it out to take a picture that Postmates required and they completely acted as if we did not provide not only the picture of the hair in our food but the oily napkins as well. I suggested NEVER ordering off of Postmates as they have poor customer service and lied to us about not receiving photos.

    I would give zero stars if I could. I am not a client of Uber, but one of their drivers in Baltimore HIT MY PARKED CAR THEN DROVE OFF!! Now there is major damage to the driver's side of my vehicle. Thanks to a witness I was able to get the license plate number and file a police report as well as an insurance claim. Uber won't take responsibility for their drivers because the people they hire are considered independent drivers, but I would RUN if the Baltimore office sends over a lady driving a dark gray Toyota Corrolla (sp?), license plate MD 9CE0916-This woman is obviously the type to think that she can just damage someone else's VEHICLE and get away with it.

    Great service, no problems, always a car available when I needed it. Most of the cars were clean. Admittedly a few smelled like air freshener overkill. I used it about 6-times in Baltimore, only having one driver get lost, it's a little frustrating knowing that they have a map with your pin on it. Airport rides were great. Plenty of cars available around downtown hotels, and plenty of cars at the airport. Perhaps a 3-6min wait when we arrived.

I took a cab yesterday from the train station to Towson and the driver said $45, which seemed to high but I had no point of reference. At my destination I got my card out and he said it was cash only. I happened to to have cash because I was bringing cash to an elderly relative so I could use that, bit now I have to send her cash through the mail. To top it off I ordered Lyft the other way and it cost HALF! Moral of the story, don't get in a cab in Baltimore without checking Lyft and Uber and make sure they take cards. I had been prepared to give the cab driver a 20% tip too even on the ridiculous price but I gave zero tip when he said it had to be cash, and I also feel really great about that. I only wish I had thought to get the name of the cab driver. I work for a national company and I look forward to posting this info on our Baltimore bulletin board so everyone knows to avoid ztrip / cabs and can advise their clients against it too! And also everyone who travels there for business. I also go there about once a month and I will be getting a Lyft and ignoring the taxi stand from here on out. Even if they agree to match the rate and take cards they clearly have a predatory mindset and will find another way to cheat. I see they have 1.5 stars. Seems generously.

Our driver was friendly, but didn't try to force conversation. He got us to our destination quickly and without hassle. They accepted credit cards (and will email a receipt? NICE!), which was a plus. Our driver got us from the outskirts of the city (Violetteville) to Mount Vernon in no time at all. A tad pricey ($35 for two people), but all things considered, not too bad for the prompt service. The process was polite, quick, and painless. The explanation and bonus points (because I realize giving a 5 star taxi service rating is ... hard to fully justify): * texts to confirm appointment scheduling (time, pick up address, and rate) - also followed up with contact information to book a return ride or modify arrangements * online reservations/quotes are available (though I did not use them) * upgraded cars (optional - about $10 to swap to a executive sedan for my trip) * modified reservation for an earlier time was quick and easy * taxi arrived 10 min. early and called to say he was here and to come out when I was ready * very professional ride and service curb to curb * brownie point: asking me what radio station I'd like to sit back and relax to on my pre-dawn ride to the airport - completely unnecessary but thoroughly appreciated from a regular taxi ride
