At my destination I got my card out and he said it was cash only. I happened to to have cash because I was bringing cash to an elderly relative so I could use that, bit now I have to send her cash through the mail. To top it off I ordered Lyft the other way and it cost HALF! Moral of the story, don't get in a cab in Baltimore without checking Lyft and Uber and make sure they take cards. I had been prepared to give the cab driver a 20% tip too even on the ridiculous price but I gave zero tip when he said it had to be cash, and I also feel really great about that. I only wish I had thought to get the name of the cab driver. I work for a national company and I look forward to posting this info on our Baltimore bulletin board so everyone knows to avoid ztrip / cabs and can advise their clients against it too! And also everyone who travels there for business. I also go there about once a month and I will be getting a Lyft and ignoring the taxi stand from here on out.
