I live close by, so thank my lucky stars! I wouldn't mind setting up shop in the gaming area and…read moreliving out the rest of my days only sleeping, eating, and gaming. The place is totally air conditioned, no windows, has flat screen tv's and consoles, comfy chairs, what more could you ask for? However, since I have a life (is a life without gaming, really a life I want to live??), I can only make it in here sporadically. Don't even get me started on the customer service, which is hands down, the friendliest customer service I have ever experienced this side of the desert, including Las Vegas. Here we were, chatting up the shop clerk, when lo and behold I find me a copy of Vampire Hunter D. Now I know the game is kinda crappy, but I had to have it for my collection of rarities. Cheaper prices than on Amazon too. So far, this is the only store I know of that stays open so late for all of your gamez (yes, I said GAMEZ) needs.

I usually don't ever make reviews but this has made me so mad at the service here. I was with my…read morefriends and I had to use the restroom and I asked the cashier and he was on his phone and told me there was no bathrooms. I then asked him where the nearest bathroom was and he looked at me and just shrugged at me. Well come to find out my friend also needed to go and he went to the back and saw the public bathroom. Really pissed off how this was handled and I had to walk 2 blocks to find a shop when all along there was a bathroom right there.

Popped into the store, not knowing what to expect. Wife and I were visiting Tucson for the gem show…read moreand family. We are gamers, so we thought it'd be fun to check out the local gaming stores. Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.

They traded me a fake Pokemon card, when I brought it to their attention they asked me to come back…read morethe next day. When I did come back today they told me to leave. This was a $30 card at the time I bought it and now worth around $45. I had simply asked if they could rectify with another card of similar value to $30. Full story: I traded in my Gengar Vmax for a Rayquaza V with Eli. That card ended up being fake/ counterfeit. I tried to go back and see if they could fix it for me, they refused, the manager Chris acted like it's impossible because he's 15 years in the business. He said he "wanted" to fix the issue but said he was not going to give me a card of equal value and offered no solutions because he said he could tell I was frustrated. I think anyone who finds out they traded a real card for a fake one would be frustrated, after essentially being told they must be lying. I never cursed, and although I do have a loud voice in general, I never raised my voice at them. Since Chris looks at every Pokemon card himself before it gets put on the shelf (as he told me himself), and he never misses one, I'm left to think they must be intentionally selling off decent quality fakes trying to scam people who don't know any better. Can't speak for magic but I'd recommend not trusting any Pokemon cards from here. Don't be like me, always check cards with a flashlight even at game shops. In response to the stores remark: Since their trades have no receipts or documentation. They leave you with no way to verify on purpose so they don't have to accept any liability. Also, if I was the one trying to scam the shop, it would be for a lot more than $30. There are better card shops in town, I'll have to avoid this one I guess over a measly $30.
