Stopped in here after bible study the other day since my friend was looking for a comfy pillow,…read morewhich she found (of course). I've been living in Florence for a bit over a year now and have never been in so I figured I'd wander. The shop looks so much smaller from outside than it actually is, it goes all the way back. It's run by mother and daughter. I met the daughter Danielle, her mom was coming in when we were leaving. I wandered the store thoroughly. There's a candy store in the front and in the back and to the side is a boutique; selling anything from pillows, clothes, books, records, Funko pops, plates and glassware and knickknacks. I was lost in the salt water taffy for quite a while. They have pre-packed tubs of 40 pieces for $4.00 , an assorted section of sugar free as well as around 40 or more regular flavors at .10 each. Flavors like vanilla, chocolate and Neapolitan were there as well as pickle and chili mango. There were also seasonal flavors such as: pumpkin pie and candy corn. The decor as you walk in is spectacular as well. I was in love with the carousel horse in the window. But I'll be sure to be back for the salt water taffy when I get low. The chili mango is If you've never been, it's time to stop by....

Of course it's touristy but we're tourists. Prices not outrageous for a tourist trap.

Play Planet Toys - honestly an INSANE deal. SO many toys for the same price and cheaper than what Frys and Costco are selling their crappy ones for

I saw a post on Facebook about their grand opening and I'm always a sucker for new small businesses openings in Gilbert. Literally makes me so excited... so I was looking forward to grand opening weekend! Location: it's tucked inside the outdoor shops on Gilbert Road and Juniper just north of downtown Gilbert. The parking can kinda be a pain so just be prepared in case they're busy to park in the parking under the building. THE TOY Selection: So many toys to choose from! These are not name brand that I can see but I didn't mind. Reminded me of shopping at Five Below but more variety and assortment. Lots and lots of stocking stuffers just in time for Christmas. He is pretty savvy with trendy toys so if you've seen something trending on TikTok he might have it. And if not ask him if they will ever be on order. My 9 year old son was ecstatic with all of the toys, fidgets, and even the remote cars. I love that they have opened toys out for kids (or adults) to test out. Customer Service: The customer service was great! My son can be a little obnoxious and he was so patient with him. I even asked if they had a particular trending toy and he stated they were going to get it in order. So looking forward to coming back for that! He was helpful with all of my questions and gave any insight he could on any of the toys. Value: I could order most of all of this stuff on Amazon BUT purchasing it in person sometimes even CHEAPER than Amazon while supporting a local business wins me every time. Most toys were under $10 but the toys my son was most interested in were less than $5. Looking forward to seeing this local business grow! Check it out you won't be disappointed! HOURS: They are closed Monday & Tuesday. Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11-7 Saturday 8-7 Sunday 8-5

If you want truly unique imported Asian goods, Teso Life *needs* to be on your list…read more I find that most local Asian markets have a pretty similar lineup of products nowadays, but I've been able to find sooo many items here that I've never seen elsewhere. My latest obsession has been the wild variety of Pretz and Pocky flavors. We're talking mugwort and soy milk, prosciutto and truffle, and lemon Pretz, as well as five red multi-grain Pocky (red bean, dates, goji berry, longan, red rice) that makes double matcha sound basic. Other standout products include tons of Korean skincare and Biore UV (the actual Japanese formula!). Highly recommend taking a walk around when you're in the mood to try something new, then stopping at one of the millions of dessert shops in the plaza for a sweet treat.

We like to visit once a week or every other week to stock up on snacks and drinks. My husband and kiddo are partial to ramune while I usually go for milk tea and lately I've been experimenting with snacks like shrimp chips, takoyaki puff balls, and seaweed anything. They charge $0.10 for their bags but that's going up to $0.25 soon so we've been keeping some of them in the car. This is a place that's fun for the whole family and there's plenty of food and shopping down the strip mall as well. Daiso is also worth looking for more home decor and lifestyle things.
