This establishment has been recommended by satisfied customers in Northern Queens over and over again. I said to myself, if I ever need my appliance serviced, Timely is who I will go to. Well, I moved in a new place about 2 years ago. From time to time, I would get a whiff of weird exhaust type smell inside my apt. Not sure if it was my imagination, or the smoking neighbor or what. This started stressing me out even more when I purchased an air purifier that has a light indicator of air quality. It would be sporadic between good and not so good. With no where to turn to, I finally called Timely and told them that I have no appliance issue but I need someone to come and give a quick over of my gas stove. Jerry came same day. It's a challenge to find a dependable repair person these days. But I was relieved to find Timely Appliance when our LG washing machine displayed intermittent error codes and not rinsing correctly. I called on December 30 and Jerry & his polite son came that same day to evaluate the washer. A quick assessment and diagnostic showed the problem and Jerry was able to order the part. Within days, the part was delivered and they installed it. Jerry probably would have been repaired it sooner but the holiday delayed delivery of the part. I called two other places before finding Jerry, and they insisted on a $50-$175 non-refundable deposit just to book an appointment!! Seriously??!? I will DEFINITELY use Timely Appliance again! Jerry at Timely Appliance is the real deal! He's prompt, honest, reliable, helpful and professional. I've had to call Jerry from time to time to help me with my Whirlpool front load washing machine. I love the machine but it can be fickle sometimes. Each time Jerry has been by to service the washer, he has made practical, economical suggestions for making the repair. On his most recent visit today, Jerry shared with me what he believed was going on based on his experience his other customers were having with this very same issue . He showed me how I could quickly and easily remedy this myself if the same issue comes up in the future. Our Electrolux gas dryer would make a noise, like it was trying to start, but the drum inside wouldn't start to turn. I looked on Yelp and found Timely. Jerry picked up and said he could arrive to our Flushing home in a few hours. When I asked, he was up front about his fee to coming out to visit ($50) and if we wanted to get repairs done, it would just be the repair price. He came on time as promised. After listening he said it could either be a piece of clothing fell through the lint rack and is preventing the motor from turning (simple fix), or the motor itself is bad (worst case scenario). He was up front about his fee to take it apart to take a look - which I agreed to. Some time later I hear our dryer running as normal, and I go and see Jerry holding up a small washcloth, saying that was the culprit. i called at 9:30 am Monday morning, got an appointment immediately for 11-2; I asked for them to call me ahead of time to give me a heads up when they would be arriving. They called as promised and gave me 20 min notice; they arrived when they said they would be here. They accurately assessed both my problem with my washer as well as my problem with my dryer; gave me a quote on the repair cost which was reasonable and completed the job within an hour.
