Ok...once I finally found these guys they were great! Great price, great service...my only complaint is the hours they are open. At least stay open till 6 most of us have to work till 5. Overall...I will be a customer. Thanks Timekeepers! read more

Couldn't have asked for a quicker and more precise service. I was only in here for less than 5 minutes. Got my watched sized for a couple bucks quicker then I could have ever done. read more

These guys are the best. Super FARE, very reasonable prices, nice guys, know their stuff and I would ONLY go here. I haven't been this impressed with a business in a long time. Congrats and thank you. read more

Great place for watch and clock repair. Very honest guys working there and if anything they undercharge for what they do. If you have any problems with watch or clock, none to small, this is your place. Watch fitting, battery help, whatever. GREAT PLACE!!! read more

The guys at Timekeepers are beyond helpful. I always go here for watch and clock repairs. They are always eager to help and they are very reasonable. I have recommended several of my friends to them and I have heard nothing but great things from them, as well. read more

Truly a throwback to a wonderful community business ethic. Brought 3 online watch purchases in to adjust the links in the bands. They would not except a penny, even when I threw money on the counter as at least a tip. He just said, "Have a good day". Very kind!!! I'd forgotten there are still business owners like this out there. read more

Timekeepers is amazing!! They are so nice and good people.. Went in to have my links removed and I asked how much, and it's FREE! Battery replacement is $5. Beat that! Where can you find that these days? Btw, they don't believe in plastics so Cash only! Keep it up amazing people! read more

Timekeepers is a more than perfect time piece shop. Excellent friendly service. Unbelievably great prices and had all six watches with new batteries and repair s complete in a couple of hours. Highly recommend Timekeepers. My new favorite place. read more

This place is great, fast, honest, and great prices. I had them fix my Dad's Rolex. One time I ran in there to get a battery for my watch and realized I forgot my wallet. They said, just pay next time:) I will always go to them for all my watch and time needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I can't say enough good things about Timekeepers. They are true artisans and passionate clocksmiths. They fixed a broken watch of mine for free and refused to accept any money. While I was waiting, they replaced four batteries for customers (only $5 each). One customer dropped his watch off and said I'll be back in a week. One of the owners of Timekeepers said, "no, I'll have it done in 5 minutes." These guys are fantastic. Take your watches and clocks here and nowhere else. read more

Went to get my watch resized, and he did so quickly and for free. Awesome looking store as well, I will definitely be back for my future timepiece needs. read more

This was the BEST experience. These people are very honest! I took in two watches, one needed the band adjusted and the other wasn't working. As it turned out is was working and did not need repair. They could have taken it in, charged me the labor for inside cleaning, etc. but he told me it was running fine. He took time to take a link out of my watchband and then do an additional adjustment, no charge. I asked how much it would be if it does stop running, he said $150. (very reasonable). As it turns out it is now running fine but I would have just left it there and paid the $150. had he not have been so honest. I highly recommend this business. Keep up the great work and customer service guys! read more

$5 to change a watch battery in a couple minutes? Yes please. Even set the time on it for me. These guys are legit.

I have already taken 3 watches here to get my batteries changed. Super quick and efficient. Love the place, the guys are awesome, I wish there were more places and people like this around. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! read more

Every town should be blessed with businesses like Timekeepers. They are customer focused and compotent. They do battery replacements quickly for a very fair price. They provide great value with complicated clock repairs and refurbishing at a reasonable price. read more

I love this place!! The gentlemen working here are the best! I've been in on two separate occasions in the past three years. When I was in today I was bringing in my watch that I dropped which resulted in the back of the watch refusing to go back on. I handed my watch over and the gentleman told me it would be a minute or so. There were quite a few people in the shop at the time. A few minutes later I was given my repaired watch back with an explanation of what the problem was. When I asked how much I owed he told me nothing. The previous time I came in I needed a link for a watchband and he replaced it free of charge!! I heard both gentlemen returning repaired watches to customers at no charge! They totally know their stuff and are quick and efficient! I wish more places were like Timekeepers!! I highly recommend their shop!!! read more

Went in today to get a watch sized. Did it right there on the spot and absolutely wouldn't take any money from me for doing it. I asked him 3 times if I could pay him and he wouldn't do it. I am a fan of small local owned businesses and this is why. Highly, highly recommend Timekeepers. read more

Great service, fun to explore so many offerings of jewelry, watches, clocks. Have had many repairs & purchased many pieces over the years. Have always been satisfied. read more

Amazing service and quick! Needed a battery for my watch but they only take cash. Did not have cash on me so he told me to drop the $5 off next time and gave me my watch. I drove right to the ATM and came right back. I am a customer for life! read more

Love this place. Very reasonable prices for battery replacement. Honest and reliable service. I have gone in with a watch that isn't working, and they will test the battery, see that it is good, and tell me that. I was in the other day and they cleaned the contacts and something else, and voila it worked. No charge. Hands down this is th best place to go if your watch is dead. read more

I read all the excellent reviews and decided to go to replace the band on an old watch my grandfather gave me. All the positive are very well deserved! They were extremely patient with me when I couldn't decide which band to pick. They replaced it in 5 minutes, shined the face and charged me $20 for EVERYTHING. Definitely one of the BEST experiences I have ever had with a business. As long I live in San Diego I will go to Timerkeepers for all my watch needs! read more

All the 5 star reviews are true! I went in to have my watch battery replaced. I had my sleepy toddler in my arms (it was about time for her nap). The gentleman behind the counter fixed my watch in under a minute and said, "that will be five dollars." Unfortunately, I realized at that moment that I only had credit/debit cards with me - no cash. I offered to run out and get cash from the bank but he said with a smile, "don't worry about it, get your little one home for a nap!" That was two weeks ago and I'm finally put $5 in the mail to them as a thank you. This is customer service at it's finest - the way it must have been during my grandparents' time. My $5 is just a small gesture to ensure that these guys stay in business for many years to come. I will never go anywhere else to have my watches or clocks serviced. read more

Very knowledgeable and really great customer service. Been taking my watches here for over ten years. Very fair pricing. No place better in San Diego and I lived here my whole life. read more

Honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I have been to jewelers who quote an outrageous price for changing my watch battery. At Timekeepers, they don't overcharge and they change the battery while I wait. They size my watches for free. They are simply the best! read more

Timekeepers in Encinitas replaced batteries in 9 of my watches last year, and all of the batteries failed within a week to 4 weeks. One died in 3 days. I went back to have some replaced last year and they died also. I went back today to revisit this issues and I had my Mom on the phone to tell her side as well for I had her watches done at the same time. Well they refused to replace any of the batteries and all of the batteries they installed were 5 years old or more, and that is why they failed. I use to love this place, but not so much anymore. I have also tried to get them to work on my Anonimo or Panerai watches in the past and they just laughed and said no, and yet the movements are very easy to work on because they are ETA movements, thus they are WATCH SNOBS, and I have heard the same things via some of my friends as well. He called me a liar in front of his customers and I told him that my Mom sat right next to your Dad on the airplane right before he passed away, and he was a good guy, and you guys took over his stock, so you must have been selling old batteries becaues I didn't come in here 5 years ago, and you know it. I have been a customer of theirs for decades and this has happened before but they always stood behind their word, but I won't ever come back anymroe and they will get nothing but bad word of mouth from me from here on out. They also dented the caseback on my favorite car club watch today and now I'm really upset for that can't be replaced or fixed. They could of offered to replace the batteries at a discount or something, but they didn't offer anything except for me to go and get a 2nd opinion. Buyer beware :-( read more

Small, quaint shop. Beautiful clocks, but the most impressive part of Timekeepers is the Staff. So kind, very helpful and aim to please. They definitely earn 5-Stars! read more

This is the place to go to fix your watch or heartrate monitor battery needs - $5 Bucks usually gets it done..

The gentleman there replaced my watch band with a new band that I purchased online, he was very friendly and professional, he did a great job and l love my watch now! This is rare that such a business exist, I will be frequenting this place for all of my watch needs, they do a great job and extremely honest and fair! read more

Best customer service of any business around. I will drive from any point in San Diego to have Timekeepers change my watch battery. Seriously. Great prices. Even change my watch battery for free once. LOVE it! And, besides repairs and service, they have a nice collection of watches and clocks to purchase. read more

I took 4 watches in this morning that needed new batteries and some adjustments to the bands. I expected to hear a time when I could pick them up the following week. He did everything including set them to proper times and dates in under 5 minutes. Total was $15. I asked if they took credit cards and he said "No, just mail a check or drop it by next time you are near here." Wow!!! I went to my bank and stopped back 5 minutes later. I left a $20 on the counter and told him thank you for the excellent service. When I was driving out of the parking lot he chased me down and snuck a $5 bill into my window as change. Extraordinary experience! read more

This neighborhood store is fantastic. I've come here several times to have watch batteries replaced and they are always fast and charge $5 which seems very fair. They never try to sell me extra services. On a recent visit I watched another employee fix a man's clock for free. read more

Wow I can't say anything mo betta than the crew here... 3 words ABOVE & BEYOND I could go into detail's been there several times....excellent place hope they can stay around for several decades without a corporate chain swallowing up the little guy.A 5 star rating is still too low these guy's rock! read more

This place is just the best. Last time my "fancy" watch broke I had to bring it to the jeweler I bought it from, they mailed it to Canada, got it fixed, mailed it back, I picked it up. It cost me $50. Time Keepers fixed my watch on the spot and didn't charge me a penny. Now I WANT my watch to break so I can go in there and actually PAY them something - Such a great shop... I feel like there's not many independently owned stores with nice shop keepers like that anymore. read more

I found Timekeepers through Yelp reviews. As I walked in, a big tall man greeted me with a fun and warm welcome. I had several watches that needed battery replacement..including my Tagheur and Movado..I was amazed!!! All these years having spent all these dollars in other places just to have the batteries replaced...$5.00 per watch..HOLY COW!! :)The replacements were done quick and efficiently. I love coming here!! The staff is funny, kind and the person I was dealing with, so so very generous. I can't say enough good things about my experience. THANK YOU..WIll be back for the next battery change :) This was over a month ago and all my watches are ticking perfectly!! read more

Singularly the nicest most honest people I have ever experienced in business. If they can't fix it they don't charge you...they guide you through Grandfather clock repair and help with all time piece related questions. We can only dream of other types of businesses being like this one. I, for one, hope they NEVER retire! read more
