Friends of mine have used them for years on their watches and when I asked where to get an almost 50 year old ships clock repaired, this is where I was brought. They are wonderful. They fixed the clock and also wanted to hear the story of it as ships clocks are not super common. Don't hesitate to take your clocks and watches to these folks. read more

I have gone to Time masters for about six different watches and each and every time they are able to help me. Truly appreciate them for their service read more

Needed to get my watch battery replaced today. So I looked up a place to get it done. Took three to get batteries replaced. Mary took the watch's in and got them fixed, Nice. The Ladies all three that were there are awesome. Make you feel like friends, and I want back with my wife. Had to show her all the wooden signs. Beautiful saying on all of them, got four for us and family. So Thank You for being there. You all stay beautiful. read more

My daughter and I went in to get my watch battery replaced. We were in and out with a brand new battery for $5 in less than 10 minutes. We were very pleased with the prompt and friendly service of the staff, they truly care about their customers and go above and beyond to satisfy them. Highly recommend. read more

IF you are looking for a place to get your clock or watch repaired OR you want to buy a stunning time piece or collector item- your search just ended here ! read more

A very nice couple own this business and are there every day, along with their daughter. They have repaired watches, replaced batteries, given advice on watches that weren't worth repairing, etc. I have been thoroughly pleased with their work for these past nine years. I recommend them wholeheartedly. They offer great service at a very fair price. I read a negative review from one customer, but the person who wrote it has written almost nothing but condescending, negative reviews of every organization she has evaluated. My experience has not been in anyway similar to hers. This is a very honest, dedicated, knowledgeable couple. I can see how they might have been hesitant to do business with a belligerent person. read more

I have been using Time Masters for many years now, even before they moved to the present location. They have not changed one little bit: always pleasant, courteous and kind. The battery is changed in 10 minutes while I wait and the cost is ever so reasonable. There is no one else I would use for all my watch repairs and/or battery replacements. Highly recommend them! A nice family owned business. You will not regret it. read more

Try to avoid if you can. The woman behind the counter, helping the old man is SO rude. She never greet me at my entrance to the place or asked me if I needed something. I was there for a change of battery, she was helping a couple before me. When they were done, I perfectly heard when she told them: the battery is free and for the other watch 25. They paid and when I told her I wanted to change the battery of my girl watch she did so and made me a "face". I told her I wanted use the coupon I got from yelp and she told me those were not accepted anymore. And charged me 5 dollars!! Yes! For a battery of 50cents!!! Super expensive and they don't respect the offers from here. read more

I took my great grandfather's cuckoo clock there that had not worked in several years and they got it repaired and serviced and it runs perfectly now. Margaret and John were super polite and flexible and great conversationalist and had some awesome clocks for sale. Highly recommend Time Masters for all you clock and watch needs. read more

Went into get a new battery put in my watch and had a good experience. They are very well priced and also it's a local establishment.

I needed some watch batteries at a reasonable price and chose Time Masters because of the positive reviews. So glad I did! The shop is charming and offers lots of fun items for purchase. I ended up having a clock & watch repaired and bought some great toys for the grandkids. It's family owned & operated by a couple of really nice, knowledgeable people. I highly recommend!!! read more

What a kind and caring business! My daughter's pink watch buckle broke. I ordered a replacement buckle online but then realized I had no idea how to actually put it on the strap. I brought the replacement buckle and watch to Time Masters and they were able to make the repair while I waited. When it was time to check out, the nice lady commented that they used a silver buckle (the one I brought in was pink) to match the winding mechanism (something I did not consider when I bought the part) and it looks amazing. Fast, friendly and knowledgable service. Highly recommend! read more

TIME MASTERS is the VERY BEST CLOCK REPAIR SHOP in the Austin, Georgetown area . Mary makes house calls. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand her explanation. Our antique grandfather clock has never worked better. It keeps the correct time and chimes correctly. So very happy. They deserve more than 5 stars. read more

Time Masters is incredible. John is very knowledgeable, master at his craft and a true gentlemen. My vintage 1950's Omega Seamaster automatic was running fast and John was able to diagnose the problem within 10 sec of me describing it. He also educated/warned me of what some of the other watch repair and authorized dealers will try to do. Namely instead of just fixings the one issue, the will want to take it all apart and clean it. This would cost more than the watch is worth. So after calling a couple places and getting told exactly what John warned me about, I went back to Time Masters and he quoted me a very reasonable price to get the hair spring cleaned. One day later, I am a very happy camper. I was even able to get a nice stitched leather band to compliment this beautiful watch that was passed down from my dad. Thank you John and Mary. read more

Amazing Family Owned business that provided great customer service. I had a clock that we really liked that hadn't worked in years. They walked me through my options and within 15 minutes I was walking out with a functioning clock. We had a great conversation while they worked on it and made sure i had no questions. A few days later, that called me just to check in and make sure everything was okay. I would absolutely go back and recommend them to anyone looking for this service. read more

Very good customer service and quick repair. I love the family business touch, you will not be disappointed. Something I appreciated was that I was told when something would not be able to be helped and expectations for my battery life. Don't hesitate to come here for great service. read more

I told them to raise their prices! Replaced 2 batteries and had a link taken out for what I believe to be a steal. I honestly don't think it can be done anywhere for less. Also it is a true Family run business. I will return to shop there. read more

Time Masters is the only place you want to go for watch batteries. They're not trying to rip you off like other places around town. The batteries last and have warranties as well. It's a very nice family with great customer service. It's busy when I come in most of the time but they greet you with a smile and get to you as quickly as they can. Worth the wait for great service and quality batteries. I've been coming here for at least 4 years and would never go anyplace else! read more

Just wanted to take a minute to thank the team at Time Masters. Had a mantel clock repaired . Courteous, family atmosphere, patience and very knowledgeable plus very fair with their work. My clock has never sound so good! Thank you again ! read more

I was amazed when I entered this little shop. Not what I was expecting at all. Instead of a dusty old watch repair, it was a very cute boutique type atmosphere where I could buy jewelry and other trinkets. I would definitely go back. Best part is that they added batteries to two watches and took links out of both while I waited... maybe 15 minutes. This allowed me to shop while they did the repairs. read more

Just wanted to write a review about this nice little watch and clock repair shop that is family owned and operated and very conveniently located at Parmer and Avery Ranch on the east side of South East corner of Parmer Lane. It's a busy little place. There were at least three customers ahead of us and more came in as we were there but we had our watch turned in in the battery replaced and we were done within about 10 minutes so it was very good customer service. We also asked by we were there about repair of a clock that was not expensive we are sure but it has sentimental value to us as it belong to my husband's parents and was their anniversary clock. We found out that they do indeed so we will be taking that clock back to see if it can be fixed. So if you have a Yelp account they advertise that if you check in while you're there your watch battery is free. Well not only is the battery free but the installation is also! Unbelievable! It would've been five dollars plus tax which is the most reasonable watch battery we bought in a decade. We won't go anywhere else now and if you haven't tried read more

Went here today after going for weeks without my watch. Found this place thanks to the handy search feature on Yelp. And, it was as advertised - $5 for any watch battery. It's in a shopping center that is being filled in in Avery Ranch. There was a line when I got there, so I heard the Time Masters experts working with other clients...some had a straightforward experience like I did, and others were there because they were concerned about an issue with their watch. The Time Masters staff was informative and helpful to all customers - you can't beat a short wait in line and $5 to have your watch battery replaced. Thank you, Time Masters! read more

I was referred to by this place by someone who charges much more for watch battery replacements. They told me that I could get a battery here for a reasonable price, plus it's super close to my house so... win win! As we arrive, I noticed that I would get a free watch battery if I checked in on my Yelp app. SCORE! The service here was quick and there was no wait at all when I went. I will definitely return and pay for my watch battery service the next time around - thanks Time Masters for a great deal! read more

So here's my thing. Instead of replacing batteries in watches...I just buy new watches, but never stop loving my old ones [shamefully looking down at ground]. After accumulating eight watches that have since lost their ticks, I told myself, "Self, Git Em Done." ...and so I did! ...five months later :) Why I'm glad I decided to be an adult and tend to my watches: 1. Owner Mary and her father were able to replace all watches I brought in when I've been turned away by two other places for at least one piece 2. Mary clearly knows her stuff by the way she explains what she's doing. I learned several legitimately interesting facts about watch behavior that will make me a better watch owner (and conversationalist no doubt) 3. Got to see Mary's father in his watch repair spectacles. I'm going to steal them one day ;) 4. Guided assistance on how to obtain a discount at her very own store. Even without discounts, this is still the least expensive place I've found in/around ATX. 5. You know how some jokes begin with, "So a nun walks into a ..." - This actually happened. 6. This place just has that warm fuzzy family-run feel despite being in a strip mall read more

I found time masters by a happy accident about 6 years ago and ever since have only trusted them with any watch related issue I may have. They are a rare example of business that is skilled, honest, minimalistic in their approach (no upsells). Key highlights: 1) Very fair prices - $5 battery change, $10 bracelet adjustment (when others charge $50 for high end watches) 2) Trustworthy - They could have tried to sell me buy a new movement when a battery leaked but instead cleaned up an existing one to try and see how it behaves before replacing it. That was 4 years ago and the watch is still fully functional 3) Prompt & efficent They are a a family run business and do everything they can to take care of their customers. A few examples of the exemplary service: * They stayed open on a friday evening past closing time because they knew I was on my way * Cleaned and fixed a movement of my movado due to a leaked battery w/o any additional charge read more

Needed a new battery in my one of my watches. I have needed to go for some time, but I DREADED going to "that place in the mall" that charges $20 or $30. I was checking on Yelp to see what time "that place" opened and one review recommended going to Time Masters instead. After reading all of the glowing reviews and seeing how much closer it is to my home in Cat Hollow, I decided to stop by. I'm glad I did! I got my battery replaced for free just by checking in on Yelp, but it was only $5 anyway that I would have gladly paid. They had the battery replaced in less than 10 minutes; not 45! This gave me some time to shop around their store because they offer so much more than watch repair! They have lots of great household decoration items, puzzles, toys as well as beautiful jewelry, clocks, and watches. I ended up grabbing a great little "Sorcerer Mickey" figurine at a great price! If your watch needs attention, then this the only place you should go! If your watch doesn't need attention, GO ANYWAY! It's a great family-owned and operated business with a lot to offer! read more

Every time we bring a watch or clock to this shop, the staff (family owned) are wonderful!! They are honest, and charges are very reasonable too. Compliant, with required masks and signs on the front door. Shop is filled with interesting gifts as well. You can't go wrong here if you need watch or clock repair!! read more

Fantastic little store, they're so friendly and very accommodating. I've been in three times because the numbers on my watch keep falling off (different ones than the ones they've glued back). Prices are super reasonable too. read more

I'm not sure 5 stars are enough. The service was quick. The entire staff was so nice, and the prices were beyond reasonable. Not only were my watch batteries replaced within 5 minutes, but the gentleman who replaced them reset the time on each watch. Totally worth the drive from downtown Austin. read more

Stellar customer service, I wish more places adopted the same type of customer care. I dropped off a watch that hadn't worked for 10+ years, I thought it was a lost cause. They replaced the battery and suggested a overnight cleaning. I left it overnight and was running late to pick it up the next day. I called to verify closing time and told them I was on my way in and may be a few minutes late. I made it to the shop a few minutes late and they stayed l so I could pick up the watch. The non-working for 10+ year watch was spotless clean and running like a champ. Stellar customer service, great work ethic, amazing prices. read more

I truly love these folks. I have taken many watches to be fixed/batteries replaced. Long ago I mistakenly brought my Tag Heuer to the mall where they charged me $45 for a battery, I kid you not. The same battery at Time Masters was $5, and the service is about 1000 times faster than the other guy. Support your local businesses. They're honest, reasonable and convenient. read more

Brought my 18K gold Rolex Presidential in to see if it was authentic. I had the watch for many years and I am always careful with this watch and do not wear it often so it appears brand new. Appreciated the owner taking the pin out of the watch band and taking the back of the watch off in front of me and showing me the serial numbers and everything was authentic. I was wearing the watch a week later and as I was getting into my car my Rolex fell off my wrist onto the asphalt street. Fortunately, I saw my watch fall off. I could have lost a $30,000 18K gold Rolex watch. The owner did not put the pin back all the way which is why it fell off my wrist. The housing of my 18K gold Rolex now has its first scratches from the fall. It took me a few minutes when I got back home to put the pins back in properly with a small jewelers screw driver making sure both pins, one on each end of the watch band were fully seated into the watch housing. The owner should have been more careful. The pin can easily seen if it is in the watch housing all the way as there is a slot in the pin. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This store completely broke my watch after putting a new battery in. I went back to the store to ask why the entire crown and stem now completely came out of the watch after the battery replacement, and they said "it was like that when it came in". My watch was in perfect condition when I brought it in. When I asked why I wasn't notified that something was wrong with my watch, they couldn't provide me with any answers and just wanted my out of the store. The owner was EXTREMELY rude. They said they didn't even replace the battery, even though they charged me for one. Luckily I had my receipt to prove I had paid for the replacement of a battery. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service, and now I have to go back to the manufacturer of the watch to go fix what they broke. read more
