In addition to making top notch cabinets, Jaymark's millwork shop makes real wood trim mouldings…read morefor case, base, crown, sills...you name it they do it in woods that are both stain grade and also paint grade. They have a fantabulous wood shop and hundreds of knives to run mouldings from their extensive in house catalog for all sizes and combinations for styles from contemporary sleek to traditional classic to as ornate as someone might want. If you don't find just what you want, they'll create a custom moulding for you. We used some of their stock wood mouldings in our home and had others custom done and their product was great. They were also on time for their production schedule. A refreshing spot of professionalism among a sea of largely laggards selected by our so-called custom builder, Jaymark delivered the quality product they promised when they said they would. Dave Streight, who is the customer contact person for the mouldings piece of this business, was fantastic to work with for knowledge and help in decision making. A really nice man who knows his stuff. Interesting to note it was not our builder who recommended Jaymark to us, but we found them on our own. My husband and I also had Jaymark on our list of top two subs to make the cabinets. Alas, we agreed to use our builder's "go to" guy at our builder's strong recommendation. The builder's guy was a nightmare to work with. Jaymark is a professional cabinet shop with a designer or two on staff and quality control processes to make sure all works just as it should. Located in Garden City in one of the non descript small industrial areas, inside you'll find a professionally organized showroom. Likely best to call for an appointment, but you can walk in too. Highly recommended. In this era of production building using MDF and polyurethane artificial products, it is a rare thing to find such a top notch millwork shop. Use it or lose it. We were building again or remodeling, Jaymark would be a destination for us. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Small private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Once in the door all is level and on one floor. Standard height seating in a conference room for design meetings. There is a curb cut to access sidewalk from parking lot but it is almost always blocked by employee car parked in front of it. 3) SUB ZERO / WOLF APPLIANCES TOO?: I recently heard that Jaymark is now an authorized dealer for Sub Zero for refrigerator / freezers and Wolf for cooktops / ovens. (Both of those brands are in the same parent company.) We used both brands in our home and once again had a marginal experience with our builder's favorite supplier. If we were doing this again and Jaymark is selling these as I've heard they are, they would be out dealer of choice for them too based on past as prologue excellent experience with Jaymark as business.

Others either didn't respond, dropped communication mid-way through or were just simply not kind (unreal). This was not the case with Jeremy. He was always prompt, thorough and respectful throughout the quoting process. Turns out this is very rare. Additionally, his pricing is fair and the bid was very clear, inclusive/complete and never changed throughout the process. We decided to go with Jeremy because of these things and could not be happier with the outcome. Every step of the process was outlined and followed. Jeremy was super easy to work with leading up to the project. He was more than willing to help us and work with us based on our needs. This was not "just another job" for them, and it showed. When Jeremy and Victor arrived to start our project we were immediately impressed. They were some of the best we have ever used. They were on time, respectful of our home, clean and truly paid attention to the details to ensure our fireplace was exactly how we envisioned. They didn't rush through just to get to the next job. You can tell that these two truly care and want to deliver the best job for their customers. I would highly recommend you give them a call. We already have our next project in mind and we will, without a doubt, be using Jeremy and Victor. Thank you both so much! We truly appreciate you!

Well, Jeremy and Victor are not your typical handymen/contractors. I don't believe you can find a better option to do your remodel/renovation work. When we submitted a service request, we heard back in minutes. Jeremy is an adamant professional and has a no-nonsense communication style. The work was completed on time, looked exactly how we hoped, and there was no haggling or talk of extra billing. Jeremy is a man of his word - something that seems to be rare these days. I will be recommending Tightlines Construction to all my family and friends.

The cabinets were 2008 and in Excellent shape so they presented to have Brandon make new shaker doors and have Revive Cabinetry do their magic and refinish/paint the cabinets. It included serious prep along with new crown and they even painted our Mantle above the fireplace. It completely changed the feel of our house for a LOT less money then to have new cabinets made without the head ache of a full on construction site. We ended up running the bar portion of the kitchen cabinets in Peppercorn Grey along with our laundry room and the other cabinets throughout in white. It was the right decision for us for sure. Andrew with Revive did an Excellent Job and was top notch with his communication! It took about 3 1/2 days for this job. Mostly the prep is the time spent, actual painting doesn't take very long, a couple coats of primer and then paint. We haven't decided on our handles yet, don't forget about that. Here are some before and after pictures. 1st Class Company and quality with nice guys you can Trust at your house while you are out. We did stay at the home every evening and had no issues with the ventilation they provided and the dry time was quick. My standards are pretty high and Andrews Standards were even higher as far as getting it done at a high level. He made a couple decisions that proved that to me. If your cabinets are still good quality and you want a change of look I highly recommend Revive with this approach.

We will use them again and highly recommend them to you. Debbie and Bill Wellman

Wow, please avoid these guys. We hired them for a kitchen remodel and it was an awful experience…read more It was an unorganized process and the work was bad: -subcontractors would show up on the wrong days (which was rough having to rearrange my own work schedule), the countertops were incorrectly cut, countertops incorrectly installed, tile caulking cracking, cabinets were installed unlevel, shelves were installed unlevel, handles were installed unlevel, caulking left all over cabinets, brand new paint damaged/scratched due to rolling shelf install, sloppy electrical work was done that we had do redo ourselves, dishwasher install never completed, unfinished baseboards and sloppy baseboard install. As homeowners, we had to bring up all the issues as they happened since there was no oversight from Cutting Edge on our project. This resulted in subcontractors making multiple visits and we're even left with items on the list that were never fixed. We've been left to complete/fix on our own and resulting in having us spend more money to buy additional materials. Upon our final invoice for the remaining 10% of the quote, we asked to speak with the owner about all these issues. At the end of the day, we simply requested to have some discounts applied for all the issues and the unresolved issues and the response was unreal. We were blamed for all of their messed up work and claimed they had several additional charges from subs bc they had to come out and fix their work that was poorly done in the first place. We were also threatened with legal action by the owner because he was unwilling to take ownership of any errors and come to a fair agreement with the final invoice. In conclusion, do your research, and avoid Cutting Edge Kitchens at all cost.

Brady and Steve were able to handle everything we needed with precision and quality. They were professional in every aspect of the job, from communication, to pricing, to daily routine. There was no shortage of delays caused by the cabinet distributor, but Brady and Steve were smart and flexible, allowing them to keep the job moving along. We can't thank them enough for taking on this project and finally giving our family a beautiful space to call home.
