When they came over to cut the tree, they worked very hard (despite the heat) and were very clean and efficient. He showed up for one day of work, during which his machine broke down, and he completed only about 25% of the removal job(have not started on stump grinding yet). He then pressured my elderly parents, who are both in their eighties and suffer from Alzheimer's, into paying him $2,000. They are not in a condition to handle high-pressure situations, and I was not present at the time. Given that $2,000 significantly exceeded the value of the work completed, the contractor happily chose not to return and instead began making a series of excuses. At one point, he offered to refund $1,000, but when I tried to collect the refund, he changed his story again saying he will come back to finish but stopped responding to me. It appears he does not keep his words, lie consistently, and is willing to take advantage of vulnerable people whenever the opportunity arises.

I came out of my house to take my dog to the vet and found this vehicle blocking my driveway. It's annoying, but just move it and it's whatever. They're looking at me. They see me standing there in my blocked driveway looking at them waving my arms. Now I need to start yelling for them to move. Dude gets in the truck and I said you can park in front of my house just don't block my driveway. So I leave and this is where the story would have ended and I would have moved on and forgotten about it... until I came home 45 minutes later and the same truck was BLOCKING MY DRIVEWAY AGAIN. They could have parked that vehicle in front of my house without blocking my driveway and it only would have been 15 feet further away, but instead they thought they were entitled to park wherever they wanted to because apparently they are more important than me, the home owner, that isn't even having the work done. This review never would have happened if they showed an ounce of respect and didn't block my driveway a SECOND time after I asked them not to. Having big trucks and equipment doesn't entitle you to be lazy and put it wherever you want. I shouldn't have to be impaired much less explain myself to leave my house that you're not even working at.
