The crew was professional and skilled, working together as an excellent team. The owner was present at various times throughout the day, ensuring that my wants were addressed. Mike was quick to come out and provide us with an estimate, and began working to take down and clear the trees in that same week. Mike's price was reasonable and his work was good quality. Acorn Tree and Landscaping worked on my property this past week and did an amazing job! I had…read moreovercrowded beds with large mature plants (some over 12 feet tall), some struggling plants due to improper planting and over-mulching. Sean, the owner, sent over Dan and his team to work on it. With an incredible eye for detail and his knowledge of plant material, Dan quickly went to work on relocating plants and choosing new ones to compliment the design. They made sure to plant things properly (not too low to be choked off by their own roots and not kept in their burlap or metal cages), which has happened in the past with other companies. Additionally, my front walkway was shifting and sinking (after only 5 years because another landscaper installed it using improper base material). Matt repaired it so it now lays completely flat and level. The property now looks like a completely different home! It has interest, color and a well-designed layout. I couldn't be happier! From the first phone call with Sean, planning with Dan and watching the team work so efficiently, I have been very pleased with the quality of service and plant material they have provided. They are experienced (30+ years in business) and their knowledge of plant material is extensive, as they are MA certified arborists and MA certified horticulturalists. They answer their calls and treat their customers respectfully. I highly recommend them! -Lola

I hired Marquis Tree Service to remove 8 massive pine and oak trees, far too close to my house…read more While I interviewed several, when Charley came to my home to assess, I had a favorable reading from the start. Marquis would use a crane at the top of my driveway and in combination with the Climber, 2 tree assistants, and skilled crane operation, I watched the entire flawless operation. They arrived promptly at 8 am and finished at 4; the huge pile of logs was picked up 2 days later. My yard has totally been transformed to more of a meadow, rather than the woods. Their clean up was quite good, considering the amount of tree debris that was removed. I watched the entire operation in awe, with never a worry about my house, lawn, greenhouse, many plantings, roof, and driveway. Marquis sent a hardworking/talented staff, price was more than fair, and the team put on quite a show. They delivered an amazing result, far beyond expectations. I would hire them again in an instant, as flawless is hard to find!
