There are tons of companies in our area who will produce a chainsaw-wielding "hide your women and…read morechildren" crew to reduce any stand of trees to woodchips. We wanted something different. We hired Kate to help us with a problematic oak tree at our property in Dublin. She came promptly, evaluated the situation, and determined that the problem could be resolved with some targeted pruning. It was clear she was abundantly knowledgeable and capable from the outset. She rope-climbed the tree, used minimally invasive techniques and accomplished the pruning job in short order. We were so happy with the result, we asked if she could evaluate a sick crabapple sheltering a family grave in a nearby cemetery. Again, she came promptly, determined that the tree was able to be cured, and she performed various treatments, followed by seasonal pruning to be done during dormancy to reduce risk of fireblight. We were thrilled with her, her service, and with the way she does business. We highly recommend Kate Odell and her services. If you have special trees, fruiting trees, trees with problems, trees needing help, this is the company for you. Think of her as a trusted physician for your family of trees.

Hmm...looked like more than I could resolve on my own so I looked up some local tree services in my area and called 3 diffferant ones. All had answering machines and Turilli was the first one to return my call, which was later the same day. I told him my story and he said he could be out in 2 days to look at it and give me a quote. They showed up when they said, which was early in the evening, which made it conveinent for someone to be home when they came. He met my wife, checked the tree situation, wrote a simple estimate and said "let me know what you want to do" and left. I decided to try them, as the other tree guys were inconsistent with their follow up, etc. I was home when they got there to do the work, and all I can say is I was impressed. This was not a real big job, but it was important to me that they did it right. They showed up in 2 trucks and a crew of 4 guys, each with a different role and they knew how and what to do. They were done in about 30 minutes, and cleaned up the area nicely after they were done. They were friendly and knowledgable and the price was reasonable. I was a happy camper, and more importantly, so was my wife. 4 Stars ****

Always an easy conversation and prompt service. As far as the product, I couldn't be happier. The amount is true if not a little extra, fairly priced, dry and burns as it should. I've used other sources over the years and there were always concerns. To date the wood I've gotten here has been exactly as expected.
