We had a diseased 60 foot tall maple tree that needed to be removed, before the harsh weather ahead. We got three estimates. Ervin came in 33% below one of them and 14% below the other. He also offered another $300 savings option but we chose to have them do the complete job, through final cleanup. Ervin and his crew arrived on time and quickly and efficiently cut down the entire tree, mulched the smaller branches and chopped the larger, healthy ones into firewood. It was amazing to watch. The Tree Climber was particularly impressive as he skillfully maneuvered throughout the tree. The tree removal was completed in about 5 hours. Stump Grinding and final cleanup were completed within the next two days, as agreed. It was a pleasure to work with an honorable businessman who is true to his word. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I'd had other tree guys come out and pass on it -- difficult lot, trees in tricky spots around my house -- but Kenneth and his crew were up for the challenge and didn't hesitate. On top of that, I was indecisive and kept changing the scope of the job. But even though I kept giving them a moving target, they still hit the bullseye. They showed up with an enormous crane and a full crew with all the right equipment to make quick work of what I thought was a very difficult job. Simply, these guys are pros. Their pricing was very competitive, and they were professional and accommodating every step of the way. Kenneth runs a top-notch operation, and he and his crew went above and beyond. From the first cut to the clean up, they exceeded all my expectations. If you've got tree work that needs doing, these are the people to call. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

They were amazing, they communicated extremely well, and did exactly what they said they would do. They had to use the crane to lift the trees over the roof of my house, nothing even came close to my house, even though some of the area's they worked in were really tight. They dropped the trees close to the ground, then the ground crew pushed them into the street BEFORE anything touched the ground. Throughout the process they had the blowers running, making sure my yard stayed clear of any debris. When they were finished, they again blew the yard to remove any debris, and cleaned the street as well. There wasn't so much as a leaf left behind when they finished! The entire crew was friendly and communicated very well throughout the entire process. I can't say enough good things about the crew that did the work! I would definitely hire McGuinness Tree service again and recommend them to friends, family & clients.

Tried heavy trimming but to no avail. They had to come down. I had many solicitors over the past two years, offering a wide range of solutions with a wide range of costs. Unfortunately, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I happened upon Maguire's Family Tree Service through a glance at Facebook community page, along with several other tree services. I contacted all of them and they all responded, but when Joe (Maguire) came out, he offered me many options with solid costs for each option. He was down to earth and I liked his presentation. He doesn't have some of the large 'toys' that others have, but he has grit, determination and a good eye for the job. I researched for reviews and couldn't find much, but I still hired his company. His office staff (Felicia, the missus) is extremely competent and efficient. When Joe and Tod finished the job of several tricky tree removals, the work area was clean and the quality of work was on time and exactly what I wanted. They did a wonderfully professional job. I wanted a competent, local, community-based company and I got this and a lot more than I hoped for. I have more trees in the future and upon rebuilding the coffer, they are my go-to tree service!
