We stopped there 15 minutes before its close time to grab a slice of pie, and it was everything I had hoped for. The staff were welcoming, quick, and oh-so friendly. Their coffee is either exceptional or "alright" but the best reason to go here is their actual food and pastries. During peak times, it may be difficult to find a seat but they do open up fairly quickly. The service here is amazing, they're super attentive and nice which is a big plus. In terms of their food, their cruffins are TO DIE FOR - I absolutely love them to death. They rotate their flavours and every single one I've had has been phenomenal. Admittedly, difficult to eat which the sugar coating on the croissant mixed with the custard inside but still so so good that it's worth the mess. I do wish it was served warmed which would take it to the next level! The sandwiches are surprisingly good as well. My favourite is the ham and Swiss. It is very filling and I love how much they pack into the sandwich (especially how much Dijon they put in it hehe). In terms of the coffee, it was decent. I was expecting more bold flavours to come out and taste the richness but unfortunately I could not. Maybe I had too high of expectations for the coffee after tasting the pastries and food but regardless, it was still decent coffee. Overall though, this place is an amazing place to sit down, eat, read, study, and catch up with friends! I definitely will be coming back and trying more of their items :)

After checking the menu that day, I was on the fence between Jambalaya and Turkey Chili. And so, I chose to message the company on Facebook. Even though he/she was vegetarian, he/she tried her best to help with my decision, providing information about the difference in health, calories, and fat of the two options. He or she even asked other non-vegetarian employees for their favourites to help me make my choice. Excellent service! In the end, I settled on Turkey Chili. The medium portion was a real steal, and very tasty and filling! A whole bunch of my friends likewise chose to eat here, and they offered the Wicked Thai and small corned beef sandwich special, Salmon Chowder, and the Chicken Noodle Soup. They all loved their soups, as did I! Will definitely come again to try a greater variety of soups soon.
