Chicken Rhubaque wrap
Vicky B.

This cute bakery cafe is great if you'd like to enjoy a cup of tea or one of the creative drink specials, paired with one of the delicious desserts in their case. It's also good for breakfast or lunch as they have a lot of options to choose from on their menu. We had lunch here and enjoyed it. I ordered a wrap from the summer specials menu, and my husband had the Reuben sandwich. Because we wanted to try a butter tart, we also each ordered one of those too. Great atmosphere and clean bathrooms too. I highly recommend.

Service was fast and friendly. Had the Reuben and enjoyed it. The bread was well toasted and crisp on the outside while still soft and tender. Also got a pecan butter tart to go. My first butter tart experience. Reminded me of a mini pecan pie

I eat out daily. This bakery is sooo cool, with many century old recipe to die for. AND amazing frozen meals. They never closed during the height of covid - thats how amazing they are. The owner, she is sweet and helpful. A must visit!

Apple stuffed French toast

Friendly and fast service. Beautiful old English ambience. Ordered the apple stuffed French toast. Delicious! It is sweet and deserves a savoury side. So i split an omelette with my daughter.

My first time here! Checking it out!

Beantown Coffee - There's a comfy seating/sipping area where you can relax & enjoy free wifi. Smelling those teas is like aroma therapy!

This place is amazing! They sell coffee and tea, in a wide selection. The coffee is roasted locally…read moreby 3 different roasting companies. Lots of different teas are on display. Although the coffee was really tasty (I had the medium roast), what really impressed me were the teas! What do you call those flowery jasmine scented ones that blossom in the teapot? You don't see them for sale just everywhere! I got a few as gifts; they're 70 cents each. You walk into the main serving area where you go to the counter to order and pay, and pass through to the next room where there are couches and a high table with chairs. Free wi-fi - just ask for the access code. The young man at the counter was very informative and knowledgeable, and not shy to share the details! Incidentally, they have a section of items for sale near the entry door. Usually, they carry cup sleeves which look to be hand crochet. Neat oh! However, on this visit, they were sold out. Time for me to get the needles and yarn out! Oh yeah!! Beware their hours, though: they're only open 8:00am to 5:00pm during the week, and only 8:00 - 1:00 on Saturdays. As they grow, so perhaps will their hours. I would definitely go back!

Great local coffee shop. They have a lot of specialty lattes and several coffee roasts available…read more There's also a decent selection of snacks to pick up too. Happy to support a local business.

It's been a while since I posted my review here (over 2 years ago now), and based on today's visit,…read moreunfortunately I have to downgrade my review by 1 star. In the intervening time, a lot of upscale coffee shops have cropped up, and Coffee Culture has stiff competition! They have also expanded, and I have been to another location a few times. That one is fine. We came in here today looking for the free wifi they offer on signs posted outside, but we had great difficulty getting in, and when finally we did, it was very slow and lethargic. Aside from that, the staff was polite and friendly (not to mention how patient they were as we struggled with their internet!), and although they offered to clean up the table we wanted to sit at by the window, and they were quick about it too, under the table was all kinds of garbage! Yuck! As for the food: we each got a breakfast sandwich which were tasty enough (mine was just ok), and the coffee was good although bitter near the bottom. However, the cookies were delicious! Coffee Cultures offers a combo coffee and cookie. I would absolutely get the cookie again. But with such fierce competition out there, and better access to wifi elsewhere, that cookie I order next time will probably be to go. :-( Unfortunate too, coz sometimes you just want to get off the couch and out of the house!! Oh well.
