But although it is, there's this Mr Sub counter and a pizza counter too. And there are even 4 tables and 8 chairs! Better than most in a gas station! Pretty inviting. Because of location and "ease" of finding this location, though, only 3-stars. However, the service was 4-star! There was one server at the food counter (I don't know if she serves the pizza too, or if that side was eleven open??) Such a high score because the woman at the gas counter came over to help with the subs for our party of 8. She was fast and efficient and pleasant about it, and she wore gloves to prep the food. However, this gas station is busy, so she had to keep tearing off the gloves to go to the cash to help those customers. She went through at least 3 pairs of gloves while we were being served. The first time was nice, they didn't have a full menu yet but the staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. The second time was about the same, decent portions, lots of options. The third time was in the summer and it was sweaty and hot inside the restaurant. We chose to eat inside because we were hoping to escape the heat but instead it was just stuffy and uncomfortable inside. It was almost empty inside at this time (3:30-4ish on a Friday) so there wasn't even a lot of body heat to factor into the temperatures. The most recent time it was still hot inside, and many customers were wiping their foreheads and using menus to fan themselves. There were 2 beers and 4 waters for the table and one beer was warm and the other was just barely cool. The wait for food was around 40 minutes and for the price it was fine but again, nothing really special of note. The owners seem nice enough and it is a popular spot, I don't want it to seem like the place is awful, it's not, it's just not somewhere I'll frequent.
