Excellent cup of latte and cappuccino. Truly one of the BEST brisket baguette and just I've ever had. They neither compromised on the quality or quantity. Everything was so flavourful, even the fries! I LOVeD every bite! Hubby ordered the fisherman's benedict. And since he's an expert in seafood (it's his career), he wasn't the biggest fan of the albacore tataki or the biscuit. He loves bennys but more of the traditional english muffin. But that's OK, the stars i'm giving is based on my food, which was incredible! Thank you for a beautiful experience, you guys are awesome and we will be back! Hubby said he'll order the baguette for next time!

You can explore the property and it's beyond gorgeous. The staff were all so sweet and welcoming! The property is beautiful, dogs and children have a place to run around and play, they have a small green house store on property, and a little truck to buy coffee and beverages. All the food is locally sourced and organic. Everything tastes so darn fresh and delicious! Definitely worth a try.

It's rustic in that honest, country way: wood, warmth, and a smallish-town Squamish vibe that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. The location does half the work for the ambiance, the rest comes from the feeling that someone actually cares about feeding you well. This is home-cooked brunch with intention. Portions are generous without being sloppy, and every plate feels thought out, like it's been tested by real people who eat breakfast for a living. The pancakes are the headline act--huge, fluffy, unapologetic, and exactly what you want when you're leaning back in your chair wondering if you should order another coffee or surrender to a food coma. And if the night before got a little loose, the double Caesar is a public service: bracing, restorative, and delivered without judgment - oh my aching head. What really seals it, though, is the staff--genuinely welcoming, on their game, and clearly proud of the place. The Crabapple Café isn't trying to be trendy or precious. It's just very good at what it does. A must-try in Squamish, especially if you believe breakfast should be comforting, filling, and a little bit healing. This is not our first time, and definitely not our last. The cafe has become our way station before heading up to Whistler. CHEERS!!!

We did check the weather when we left home but we didn't acclimate quickly enough after the summer to understand what low single-digit temperatures really meant. After a brisk walk along the boardwalk and downtown, we quickly needed to find a warm place for a hefty breakfast. It was the only diner type restaurant open mid morning on Cleveland. It looked good from the outside so we went straight in. We were seated right away. There are many typical options on the breakfast and lunch menus. We both had The Usual breakfast - 2 eggs, choice of meat, choice of toast, fried potatoes, and a portion of mixed fruits. I had sausages which were plump and juicy. The fried sliced potatoes looked different from how fried potatoes / hash would usually be served in a diner but they tasted good I like that you can stack a few of them up and cut through them, like eating stacks of mini pancakes. But potatoes trump pancakes anytime and any day.

We waited 1.5hr to be served our food with only 3 other people ahead of us waiting for their food. The place was empty and only 3 plates were served at a time to each of us. The fruit portion was just two VERY thin apple slices and one grape for the food decor on each plate! The food portions were the smallest I've ever seen for diner food options. We had to wait so long that we had to go down to the coffee shop down a few stores to get lattes and pastries (Sunflower Bakery & Cafe I recommend hands down) while we waited. The server had an attitude and was the only person taking the orders and busing the tables (the dishes from other tables were not picked up). Yes one person managing the customers but I honestly felt she had time to pick up the dishes around other tables and ask if we needed any coffee or water. There were no other customers after us that came in. The few that did walk in were told the restaurant was closed. There was one syrup container and that my son had to ask to barrow from the other table still finishing up the meal. The potatoes on our plate seemed like they were from a frozen bag and reheated on a pan, no taste or seasoning on them. Sausages were not seasoned and no flavor to them. The pictures on the previous reviews do not compare or come close to what we were served. The food did not make any of us sick and the restaurant was clean that is the only reason this restaurant is getting two stars on my review. Would I ever come here, Absolutely NEVER! Go to Sunflower Bakery & Cafe they serve you delicious coffees and amazing pastries and other breakfast items!

The menu has an Italian and Greek touch. They also have a full coffee menu, and I noticed the tea selection was especially impressive with quality brands. I got a green olive sandwich, which was an interesting combination of hummus, fig spread and fresh figs, olives, and arugula on a pita. I thought it worked surprisingly well! The overall flavour profile of the sandwich was savoury - the figs didn't stand out as sweet when combined with the other ingredients. I also got an iced tea (lapsang souchong - a tea that I really like but rarely see in tea shops) and what they called an "ugly but beautiful" cookie. I don't know what the type of cookie is actually called, but it seemed like a meringue-based biscotto with crunchy nuts inside. It was good - I liked the texture! I liked how they decorated the store, it had a homey vintage look. They were swamped when we visited but the staff was very pleasant nonetheless!

Opting for the Basted Basic, you can't mess up a solid plate including a nicely sized biscuit, a good portion of bacon, perfectly poached eggs and freshly mashed avocado. Wifey enjoyed her eggs benny, while my son was just happy to receive a squishy pig toy with his Piglet Pack (kids meal). They also have so baked sweet or savory pastries to go as well. There is both limited internal and outdoor seating, so I could imagine how packed it can be at peak hours. Order at the counter, and they'll deliver your items, and bus your own table (one of the workers graciously offered to do it for us).
