RUN! Run as fast as you can AWAY from this dealership. We were interested in a brand new F-150 truck. This dealership had the right truck. On the dealership's own website, we entered our trade-in VIN, etc. and were provided a trade-in value. We decided to drive to Spanish Fork. We drove the truck and wanted to pursue purchasing the truck. That's where all the shenanigans started. 1) They would not honor their own website's trade-in value. Mind you our trade was an immaculate 2019 Ford F-150 with less than 4,500 miles. 2) They added in $1,900 in add-ons to the MSRP. $299 for brake plus (flashes a few times warning other drivers to begin braking - what?) + $299 for VTR (VIN window etching) + $795 UCI/PDI (prepping and inspecting a brand new vehicle - again, what?) + $350 for COVID sanitization + $149 for worry-free maintenance (3 oil changes) = $1,892 in added profit over and above the fact they are asking MSRP for the vehicle. This is highway robbery. This is not our first rodeo - we've purchased more than 30 vehicles in the past 30 years with most of them being brand new ones. NEVER have we been charged for a brand new vehicle to be prepped, inspected and prepared for sale. NEVER have we paid for the VTR (window etching) that most dealerships do automatically in the hopes that you'll take the bait. NEVER have we paid for the brand new vehicle to be sanitized. NEVER have we been charged for something that the dealership feels they should add to warn other drivers that we are braking. We attempted to negotiate all of their add-ons and the dealership refused to budge. We have read many reviews about this DISHONEST and SHADY dealership. To be honest with you I have been to a lot of dealerships before. None like the experience we had tonight. The second we walk in we are greeted by a very kind sales men. He couldn't find the keys to the car we were looking for and his co workers and the sales men in the back were yelling at him and talking shit behind his back when he left. Very unprofessional. Second of all we came in wanting to see if we could get a certain car for a certain price. We could hear the sales rep who runs the numbers in the back in quote say " THEY ARE STUPID IF THEY THINK THEY CAN GET THAT PRICE" that right there is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced at a dealership. BUYER BEWARE - This Tim Dahle Ford is exactly what you fear in a "Used Car Salesman". They knowingly sold a car to my daughter at school, 1500 miles from her Texas home, which cannot pass inspection and be registered in Utah without extensive repairs, standing behind the "Sold As Is" sticker on the window. However, when a buyer goes to a used car dealer there is the expected trust that one buys a car and pays TTL (tax, title, license) so that the dealer collects the tax, prepares the title, and registers the car and one can leave with a temporary tag or plate and you are good to go. However, Tim Dahle Ford sold a car to my daughter that should have been sent to an auction. Tim Dahle Ford collected the tax, prepared the title and sent her away to get her own registration and license on her own, THIS DEALERSHIP SENT HER OUT WITHOUT TAGS ON HER CAR KNOWING THAT IT COULD NOT PASS INSPECTION AND BE REGISTERED. If I wanted to find a 'shady guy' on Craig's List to but a car on the street I would accept the fact that inspection and registration in my problem. That would be my choice. However, when going to my daughter expected to get a car registered and able to use for a year or two. CRAIG'S LIST WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE. When I inquired about why my daughter was sent away without tags/license on her car I was told "she is an adult and made an adult decisive and she can live with it". NOT SO GREAT CUSTOMER RELATIONS. I have bought a number of used cars from various dealerships, some good some bad, but every car had temporary tags and valid inspection and registration as I drove off. These people are very dishonest!! I would never suggest anybody by a vehicle from these people.We traded in are truck for a truck on their lot a EcoDiesel..We were trying to get better fuel mileage.We were told that we could have the EcoDiesel Deleted for better fuel mileage and more power. The A couple days later my husband spoke to our mechanic. Are mechanic informed him that the truck couldn't be Deleted. So we took the truck back that day and asked if we could get a different one. They drop the trad in of the truck we just got like 12,000.00 dollars. So we asked if we could just get our truck back. We told us we would have to give them 4,000.00 to get our truck back. We asked them for an itemized list of what the $4,000 was for. They told us there was A $500 detail fee A $1,500 restocking fee A $1,500 holding fee and a $500 I think was for the miles on the truck which was mostly going back and forth from the dealership. After arguing with them we got them down to $2,800 and walked away with our truck a few days after we took it in there. They did not even have the loan paid off on our truck. They shredded our license plate and did not detail or do anything to the truck but said that the detail was for the one we brought back which was not dirty from a couple days. I asked the manager If that is really how much it cost him to give our truck back to us. He could not answer me all he kept saying is that's what was agreed upon. Bought my car from them over a year ago!! I was told I would be getting a spare key, and that it would be mailed to me. I waited a month, and never received it. After 11 months of calling my salesman and being told he'd figure it out and call me back I was fed up. I called their sales manager Jake and asked him where it was at. He also said he'd find out and call me back. I never received a call back. I finally decided to call him today and he said it was shipped to me( it wasn't). I have had problems with my 2016 Ford Explorer ever since I bought it new when they first came out in 2015 (purchased out of state, was not living in Utah at that time). Fast forward to moving to Utah... Utah has the absolute worst Ford dealership service centers on the planet! I have been to the 3 Ford dealerships closest to me and decided to drive the 25+ miles to Tim Dahle Ford in Spanish Fork in search for good customer service and getting my vehicle fixed after 3 years and 3 incompetent dealership service centers. My experience with Tim Dahl Ford has been no different from the other 2 dealerships much closer to me in Utah. I took my Explorer in and saw Trevor yesterday morning. I have the PremiumCare extended warranty which also includes rental car coverage. The Enterprise had no Ford rental cars but could get one later in the day. I told Trevor I couldn't come back later in the day but could come back the next morning. I called him at 2pm to inform him my plans had changed and I could come by later that afternoon if he could confirm Enterprise had the vehicle. They didn't, so I told him I would plan on seeing him in the morning then. The next day... I called Trevor at 8am to see if he had confirmed with Enterprise if they had a rental car for me. He was with a customer (understandable) and would call me back. 8:30am and he hadn't called me back. I called Enterprise myself to check on my Ford rental car. The guy at Enterprise said he knew nothing about reserving a Ford vehicle for me and that Trevor had put a guy with an F150 in a rental car yesterday afternoon (it sounds to me like that was supposed to have been my reserved rental)! I called Trevor and asked him about my rental car. He said he would call Enterprise and confirm. He never called me back. I am done with Tim Dahle Ford! I am done with Ford, period! I absolutely hate Ford, their customer service and the crappy quality vehicle that I spent a fortune on. Do yourselves a huge favor and avoid Ford, buy a different brand vehicle. Dealership promised to detail the truck, including the truck bed that was filled with silt rock and sand but failed to take care of it. Dealership promised to have all paperwork ready for re-titling out of state but took 3 weeks to process. Did not buy my autos here because they couldn't beat a way bigger ford dealer. Would have if they did though! Works package is great. 44 bucks out the door for LOF and tire rotation. They use castrol oil and have a rewards program. They also get you any rebate forms you need. Just got one for 7 bucks for castrol and one for 10 from ford. Make an appointment if you only want to wait 30 min. They do LOF on Saturdays. Open 8-6 M-F and 9-1 on Saturday. read more

WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! Took my Vehicle here to get warranty work on the transmission done. This was my first time to the dealership but second time getting this part fixed due to Fords mistakes. The service department is a joke. They stated they could not provide a rental vehicle even though it was Fords error but that is should only be a 1 day fix. I hadn't heard anything from the dealership and called them around 4 p.m. to see what the status of my car was. They had to order in parts that wouldn't be there until the following evening. I understand that isn't there fault and they need parts. Once again asked my service advisor about getting a rental due to the inconvenience and warranty work required. My service advisor was not willing to even try to work out a solution and could care less about helping me in my situation. I called Ford customer service line directly to see if they were willing to help me out. I was given a case number and told that this warranty work did in fact include a rental car for up to 10 days. I called the dealership told them I had a case number and instead of apologizing they acted upset I went to Ford and called them out on their lie. Long story short. These guys will not take care of you because they do not care about their customers. Their service advisors and managers are to prideful and to unwilling to do what is right and put the customer first and follow the standards Ford has set. They do no deserve to have the Ford name. I will move my business to another local Ford Dealership and I recommend that you do the same. read more

Stay clear of this location as their sales managers don't uphold their word and sell the vehicle you are interested in right out from underneath you! We were told we were first in line to look at a trade in vehicle that was arriving in the lot. There was no photos posted online, just details about the vehicle that fit exactly what we were looking for. We waited 3 days and once the vehicle arrived we immediately headed to see it. On the drive to the dealer, the sales manager called and said the owner wasn't turning it in until the next day. We asked if we could get some photos of the vehicle but the owner already left with it. The sales manager then said he would get us photos the next day and at which time we could put down a deposit if interested. We said we would put a deposit down now but he declined and said lets wait until you have the photos. The next day we messaged the sales manager around noon asking if the vehicle was there yet.... no response. At 9pm that night, he text and said someone else put a deposit down and the vehicle was not available. After immediately calling him and asking why the vehicle was sold out from underneath us, he couldn't give a valid answer but said he would look to find us another vehicle matching what we needed. That was 5 days ago and he's never messaged or responded back to our text messages. Then reached out to the general manager for this location. The salesman was terrible and made us wait forever while he would walk off and make phone calls working on some other deal. We scheduled an appointment and they still werent ready when we showed up, I really should have just walked away. I bought from a different Tim Dahle dealer several years ago and had a bad experience there too. I should have known better! I honestly wouldn't go back here ever. They did a terrible job washing the new suv before we left, we found wrappers and a brush in the back seat. They charged us for some blinking brake light they said was mandatory yet come to find out we dont have that light and it's been months and they haven't given us that money back. They did offer us a free car wash if we came back down! Anyway, I would be careful if you go to this place. My one star review will also be a one star for their official Ford review and salesman review. Purchased a 2019 expedition, almost $80k. We were told all taxes and registration would be included in the loan. We are out of state buyers. We have this in writing through text with the salesman. When we went to DMV they didn't send the right amount of money cause they only included taxes. So we had to fork out another $1200 and it was almost $3100 cause they did the paperwork correctly so they originally wanted $3100. Two hours later and we finally got it worked out. When I went and picked it up, no one even walked to the vehicle to show me how to use it, didn't show me any features and didn't tell me anything about ford pass. Much less help in setting it up. I was just given the keys and said "make sure that's what you wanted". In January 2017, I purchased a used 2016 Ford F-150 with 10,000 miles from Tim Dahle Ford. I came from quite a distance but was assured it was in excellent condition and had been thoroughly inspected. When I arrived, during the test drive I heard a strange noise. Rich Evans, a previous service manager, told me he didn't think there was a concern and that he felt it was "loud tires." The noise persisted and my local Ford dealership in town told me there was an obvious rear differential problem. They were surprised that a Ford dealership had sold it to me. This significant repair took five days and I baffled as to how something so significant could be missed. I noticed the truck pulled consistently left. My local dealership at the same time did an alignment, but it did not resolve. I took it back again to the dealership. They felt it did pull, but thought it was the tires. I went to a tire store and they agreed. They said they could replace just the suspected left front but it might be one of the others. I had enough back and forth so I decided to replace them all. It then drove straight. When I purchased the truck, Rich at Tim Dahle told me that the Title paperwork would arrive "at my local DMV". I gave it a few weeks then went to the DMV. After waiting an hour an a half, I was informed the DMV did not have it in their possession. So it wasn't taken care of as promised and now I had to chase it down. I wrote and called Rich, only to find out that the finance office had it on their desk. I had to go back to the DMV for another hour and a half to complete registration. When I originally picked up the truck, I was told there was only one key. I wasn't told of this prior. Two months later, Tim Dahle Ford "had found" the second key and mailed it to me. By then, I had purchased a replacement key from my dealership so I was unnecessarily out $341. When I asked Tim Dahle for a reimbursement for they key, they replied that the price on the truck was a good deal so even with the new tires and key I was ahead. Apparently Tim Dahle's philosophy is we can sell you a vehicle: - with a massive repair needed, - bad tires, -not process the crucial paperwork, -and mismanage keys, etc. .....as long as you got a good price. We called the sales person Crhis Sanches to give him this information, but they were already closed for the day. We took the car in on Dec 26th 2020and now they're wanting us to pay 3k on repairs. DO NOT GO TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I don't know about the sales, however, the service department is despicable. I don't have time to write about the multiple horrible experiences I had with the service department, all I'm saying is absolutely don't go there if you need something fixed. If you want to have random items added to your bill that you didn't ask for, and complete dishonesty and huge thousands of dollar expenses for things that could only cost a few hundred, then this is the place for you. They will gladly tell you an actual $400 fix will cost you $3700. After taking my car in one time for a few days WITHOUT PROVIDING a rental car, I suddenly had a brake fluid problem. I took it to a small mechanic shop and they told me there were no leaks or anything wrong with the brakes at all, and that someone would have had to purposely lower the brake fluid. I've never written a review on yelp but these experiences were so bad that I'm going out of my way to write a review out of genuine concern for the financial security of anyone thinking about taking their vehicle to their service department. Go to the provo ford dealership if you need repairs, they, like a dealership should, give you rentals and are completely transparent about what they do and another plus is they don't freaking sabotage your vehicles to make you come back in. So nice, we bought here twice! We had an excellent experience buying a 2016 Flex at this location in October 2017. Kenny was very helpful throughout all parts of the process and when we were done, we felt we had a friend for life. This year, we decided to trade in my minivan for a 2016 Fusion and, naturally, I looked again to Tim Dahle Ford, even though we live in Salt Lake County and drive by 3 Ford dealers to get there. My wife made contact with Kenny again and the whole process (with a trade-in this time) was as good as before. When we went to make the trade, it was like a reunion / catching up with old friends. It went smoothly and I love my like-new car that cost 50% of the original MSRP. I have since went in a few times for some follow-up questions and the service staff have been very friendly & helpful. My car had to go in for warranty work a month and a half after I bought it. It sat there for 17 days before they even looked at it. Everything got approved and they were waiting on parts that were a few days out. The parts never showed up, I kept getting told they were on back order. I got the part numbers of the parts they were still waiting on. I had them within 24 hours of ordering them. My car was there for 66 days. The warranty company will only approve 11 days of rental. That's a lot of money for a rental, plus my car payment and insurance for two months while the car just sat there. I'm still waiting to get reimbursed for the parts. Their parts department absolutely SUCKS. Nelson and Alice were great to work with. They need a better way to update their customers. I never once received a call with an update. I had to call and leave messages at least 3 times before I got a call back. read more

I've bought 2 vehicles from Tim Dahle Ford and both times have been the best car buying experiences I've ever had. Last year, we came looking for a replacement for our SUV and originally planned on going in to buy a smaller SUV even though we wanted an Expedition. Kenny found us an awesome Expedition and even worked with the finance manager in getting us a better rate and a better price than the vehicle we were originally interested in, and it had 30k miles less. We were amazed. Just recently, I went in again with a pre-qual for a car I was eyeing in the classifieds. I texted Kenny and told him what I was interested in, sent him my info through the website. We had everything done within one hour of coming to the lot. Again, they were able to provide the monthly payment I was wanting, at even a shorter loan term than I expected. Another great experience! I think anyone can have similar experiences. I don't have the best credit, but it seems they have been able to exceed my expectations. I plan on continuing to do business with them in the future. If you happen to go there...ask for Kenny, he's the real deal. He doesn't play any tricks, or try to make you do something you're not comfortable with, he's just real with you. Good luck buying from these people... This organization is dangerously incompetent. Car was disgusting inside when when test driven. Tried to increase price of vehicle by 20% with unnecessary add-ons (luxury SUV purchase, so substantial cost). Required to used their horrible financing, even with perfect credit, to get internet price. Refused to remove a special brake light ($300), which upon inspection was never installed. Lied about the brake light being installed and would have stolen if I had not looked into it. THREE months later I'm still waiting on the check. Promised a second key which they "couldn't find" (eventually found upon threat of poor review). Car was initially never detailed and delivered looking disgusting. Had to bring it in on another day for a detail. Detailer lost the tire lock (later found) and broke the parking sensor. A/C broke 4 days after purchase - told I would be "taken care of" which apparently meant I pay for the A/C and parking sensor myself. Only agreed to cover fixing the car and provide promised second key IF I provided a good review. Service had my car for NINE DAYS to fix A/C and parking sensor, causing us to be late for our planned vacation. Initial fix for the parking sensor was garbage and eventually fell out 2 months later. Upon fixing the sensor the second time, they broke our bumper and fog light plastics. Left zip ties hanging in front of our collision radar so the car kept screaming that we were going to get in an accident and randomly SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES ON ITS OWN. My service associate was NEVER available and NEVER called back and provided limited updates. These people are a disgrace to the car sales business and live up to the stereotypes. Tim Dahle Ford: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had taken our Ford F-150 to be fixed and as we were driving home from the dealership the check engine light came on again. We took the truck back and they promised they could fix the problem. Instead, we ended up paying for a whole different repair that they did not diagnose with the first repair. We paid over $3500.00 to have the truck fixed and it still did not run right. We took it back a third time and had such a bad experience that we decided to look for another mechanic to check out at the truck. At the advice of a friend, took the truck to McKell Automotive. the mechanics found pieces of plastic and metal parts in the oil pan of our truck and a part that had been left dangling that was never reconnected. We are so lucky that the truck engine did not seize. McKell Automotive fixed the truck and it has ran great ever since. When we contacted Tim Dahle and my husband spoke to the manager, their solution was an apology and a year of free oil changes. I only wish I had read these reviews before I bought the car. While I lucked out and did get a good car it ended up costing ALOT more than what they advertised on the internet and unfortunately for the exact same reasons that were listed in so many other reviews. I did give Jory a good Google review but that was because I didn't pay attention to the paperwork for which is completely my own fault, but let me tell you why. Like others, they kept us waiting for financing for 3 hours until it was almost time for them to close. Brandon, the financial manager, sat down with us to sign the papers and while he did tell us where to sign, and again my fault after hours of waiting to sign the papers and driving for an hour to get the car that I didn't ask more questions, he literally DID NOT EXPLAIN ANY OF THE FEES OR EVEN MENTION THAT THERE WERE ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WERE GOING TO COST US MORE MONEY IN THE END. Jory did his job of telling us that they only made $250 on every car which I already knew was a joke but still figured how bad could it be. Well, it has been over 20 years since we bought a new car and it seems people selling cars continued to just get worse. They told us if we got our own financing it would cost us more for not using their financing. Ok but basically they still got their money. The car listed at $16995. After their VR fees, the "brake light" cost , and the etching fees they made an additional $2000! The car was listed $3000 below bluebook . And also, only 1 key given and I'm getting the same run around about receiving another key as someone else mentioned in another review. I also asked to cancel GAP insurance and was told I would get a paper emailed to me but never received it so I'm sure this will never happen. This so called great deal cost an additional $5000 by the time taxes, licensing and Utah fees were added. How are these people still in business especially with the same complaints coming from so many customers?! Again, I take full responsibility for not making them go through every page of financing in detail right then and there but I learned the hard way. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE! C.L in the reviews is correct. They added a Brake Plus feature additional $$$$. Just so your lights can flash 3 times before they are solid for stopping!! Who needs that! They knew all day we were coming that evening, they didn't even have the decency to wash it. Then the salesman said, well we have new detailers back there. When we saw the CarFax the vehicle had water damage (submerged) and the left rear was in an accident. Couldn't they have said that BEFORE we drove 3 hours. He knew we were coming a long way. Then they only took off about $500.o0 of the deal after all the BS add-ons (one of which was $136 for future oil changes!!). Really, I'm not driving 3 hours for an oil change dude!! We had already turned down their $1000 offer for our vehicle, but when the Finance Manager came back he said" this is the best we can do" $1000.00 less WITH US GIVING THEM OUR VEHICLE FOR $1000. Nope, we left. There were so many additional things wrong with the vehicle. I understand a previously used vehicle is not going to be pristine, but really? We left, the following week, we found the perfect vehicle - same year, same make and model only we paid exactly what we wanted OUT THE DOOR!!! Which was substantially lower! At this other facility, every fee was explained to us, no hidden fees as in Tim Dahles"Other Taxes" Which was told it was actually taxes but they could not put it in the "Actual Tax Line". What a joke! This other facility showed us the complete DMV charge list and only charged us for that. Showed us the percentage of taxes we were being charged - which matched what was on the paperwork, No document, and DMV runner charges. And it's beautiful. No issues, clean, only 1 previous owner, clean CarFax, no underwater damage, no collision, mileage was great and low, and records show consistent care for maintenance. So sorry for the sucker that ended up with the garbage this dealership was selling. read more

I found a Mercedes GL 450 on True Car and connected me with Aubree the on-line connection staff. After the conversation with her I had a telephone and text conversation with Jeremy and Shawn. After requesting a diagnostic review of the vehicle, due to me living in NY and the dealership being in Utah it was determined that the dealership asked me to take the recommendations of their mechanic and I did. I text and called Jeremy to tell him I wanted to go into contract for the vehicle, also requesting him provide me with a sales contract via my email. After multiple calls and text and no follow through with the contract. My last contact from Aubree was to inform me that the car was sold. This dealership is managed unprofessionally and fails to follow the very basic management tool of quality follow through. I would not suggest anyone to make a purchase and have the expectation of quality service as a follow up read more

Crooks!! One star is too much! Highly disappointed with the 40,000 service. Overdone and over charged. This service does not require a 'Complete transmission service' ($285.91+), does not require a 'Complete brake system flush' ($119.95+), does not require a 'Coolant flush' ($191.02+), total bill including oil change is $709.97. Not honest, no follow up on the status of the work they were doing. I had to contact them all the time. I asked them on May 30th to replaced the clutch (Ford warranty) on my Ford Focus hatch 2016, which they did. Guess what? The new clutch FAILED the same day, after three hours of getting the car back (June 1) They said "faulty" clutch! Sure! I don't accept that, as my regular dealer (Olive Branch MS) has done hundreds replacement with none being faulty! All this work and hassle took them from May 29, 2018 to June 7, 2018 at 6:45 pm, (eight working days). Rental car was provided only with the last clutch replacement (6 days). Assistant service manager is only interested in how 'good' he looks: no idea of customer service! read more

After picking out the truck I wanted online, a Ford F150 XLT, I went to Tim Dahle Ford on a thursday afternoon, I was the only customer on the sales lot . As I walked around trying to locate the vin # for the truck I was looking for, I walked past 2 salesman to whom I said hello. All I got was a grunt in return as they walked off. I waved to an older salesman with a cowboy hat and he just waved back. I tried to get the attention of a younger salesman but his nose was in his phone. I eventually found the truck I was looking for by matching the stock and vin # but it was not as advertised. The truck did not have several items that the advertisement said it had. False advertisement. So after walking around for 45 minutes, being ignored and lied to, I left dejected. I sent the sales manager an email, a note through their chat system and a text describing my experience. I quickly received a text saying to come to their lot and "check out all the awesome deals!" I came prepared to buy a truck that day. I had money and papers in hand. I should have listened to all the other poor reviews about this dealership and so should you. I took my Ford Expedition in to have the dome light bulbs changed and lenses replaced in the overhead console. Instead, Smith Auto Club Ford, Spanish Fork, returned to me my Ford Expedition missing the overhead console, missing the heat- A/C control, missing the sunroof power control, and left with unsafe open ended electrical wiring hanging down from the front headliner (and a lot of it). I was continually led to believe by the service department, namely the service department manager, Trevor Pool, "The part is ordered and on its way", only then to be told several weeks later, "They don't make the part anymore". Thereafter, I was lead to believe, "We will find the part from a used source and take care of you", only then to be told months later, "You will need to find one on your own and we will handle it from there". Believing that a Ford dealer service department would best be suited for my commercial Ford vehicle, Smith Auto Club Ford has treated me like dirt, like scum, they flat out lied to me multiple times, they left me on my own to fix parts on my vehicle that they destroyed and threw away. Is your vehicle in the need of service? I strongly suggest you stay clear of Doug Smith Auto Ford in Spanish Fork and consider another dealership where they will more than likely treat you with honesty, dignity and respect and offer competent mechanics. read more

I delt with a really nice sales guy that actually knew what he was talking about. Every person I met was friendly and helpful. And all that I did not feel like I was waiting around for nothing. We just bought a Lexus from Tim Dahle Ford. We had a terrific experience with a young man named Bodie Taylor. Bodie was very accommodating. He knew his stuff. I really liked him as a car salesman because there was no pressure. He's quite laid-back for a salesman and that's what I really liked about him. He let us take the car to our guys at McFarland Automotive in Orem for an all-over inspection. They gave it an excellent prognosis. If you want to deal with someone that's not going to make you feel guilty because you didn't buy his car...Bodie is the one to look up in the showroom. Ask for him if you call there. We will NEVER take a vehicle here to get serviced AGAIN! Not only did a "3" day job turn into a month, but the manager tried to tell us our motor would blow up if we didn't buy a new one which was 13, 000, when all we needed was new injectors, after they finally fixed it, they returned it with a few things not working, and we took it back, they supposedly fixed it Gave it back, but still did not work. And then it happens that a few of our parts "suddenly" went bad, they diagnosed the problem, we spent money in buying the new part to find out they diagnosed wrong, so we took it into larry h Miller who found the right problem and fixed it. Buyer Beware - bait and switch tactics used at this dealership. On December 27th, 2017, my wife and I called Tim Dahle Ford to discuss information on a vehicle we were interested in. My wife called first and spoke with a salesman named Josh to confirm that the vehicle was still available and the price was correct, Josh affirmed both questions. Later that evening, I called and spoke to a salesman named Shawn and indicated our interest in the vehicle and asked him to send us some additional pictures, a cost to ship to our location, and deposit requirements. He informed me that he would send the information later that night or by 9:00am the next morning, December 28th. At approximately 11:00AM on the 28th, I called Shawn to ask where the pictures were and if he had confirmed the price of shipping. He stated he would get them to me right away. He sent the pictures a little while later, I asked for a quick look at the tires and picture of the type and once he could get those to me I was ready to make an offer. I had to text him again to remind him and finally received the additional information and call around 12:30PM. I indicated my interest and presented a verbal offer on the vehicle. At that time, we were informed that the price of the vehicle was now $2400 more than listed on their website. I asked Shawn to honor the initial price and he said he would need to call me back. I received a call about 15 minutes later and was told that we were mistaken the lower price must have been on a different vehicle, basically we didn't know what we were talking about. About an hour or so later, we sent screen shot pictures of the car on their website with the corresponding vin# indicating the lower price. We never heard from Shawn again. I texted him later and asked that a manager call me. Later that evening, I received a call from Brent, I believe a sales manager. I had to deliver the entire scenario to him, he looked up the log and indeed admitted the car was at the lower price, effectively catching Shawn in a lie. However, Brent would not honor that lower price stating he would lose money on the vehicle. I offered to add $500 over the initial asking price to cover the shipping and they still would not honor the lower price, hiding behind a disclaimer on their website. If Shawn would have followed through on his commitment, we would have purchased the vehicle at the lower price. I have asked Shawn and Brent to have their General Manager call me to discuss a resolution, but have not heard from him. They may legally be able to get away with this tactic, but ethically this is not the way to do business. read more
