I didn't realize this wasn't an option, so now I am posting this "update" to review Speech Therapy Services separately. :) We currently see Miss Laura for speech therapy weekly and she has been wonderful. One of my children is very moody and has some behavior concerns - especially when working with new people. Laura has always been so patient, understanding, firm and predictable, but also fun and appreciative of the comedy that happens when working with children! My child was reluctant at first to transition to her as a new provider, but now he looks forward to his sessions - even stating in the car "No - wrong way!" when we pass by to get to other destinations when it isn't our therapy day. That is a good sign. My child began speech therapy in another state at a young age, so Laura is our 4th or 5th SLP now. Even with an early diagnosis, Laura is the one who had the insight and the drive to put in the work and get approval for him to have a speech device provided and paid for through his insurance and it has been life-changing for him, and for those who work with him and take the time to learn to use the device. This has made a huge difference in his ability to access the community, interact with family, and sharpen his social skills at school and with peers. We are very grateful. We were one of the first clients for Desert Peak, and things run so smoothly at this clinic, we had no idea that they were brand new as a business at the time. With multiple children who have multiple therapies, scheduling can be a nightmare, but at Desert Peak, we have been very blessed to be accommodated. Our family highly recommends Desert Peak Therapies for Speech services - especially as their practice grows. I am grateful for every word my kids speak. Telehealth during COVID was difficult but we made it work. The speech pathologists are always learning and open to new ways to help kids. Ms. Whitney is very calm and caring and gave us recommendations on how to help with all kinds of issues from sleep to tummy troubles. There was no wait time, they took me back the exact minute of my appointment. Dr. Joseph was super helpful, comforting, and had a great attitude and answered all my questions. Come to find out I have strep throat. He prescribed me some antibiotics and a steroid to help with the severe inflammation. I'm already feeling a tiny bit better, got some rest, and I'm looking forward to (hopefully) getting a full nights sleep tonight. Hands down the best experience I've had at an urgent care.

They care about the patients, and don't get the recognition they deserve. However, the people Who run the company fail to recognize, or take accountability when they mistreat others. The wrong people get recognized for sitting behind a desk, while the people on the field don't get treated with respect and appreciation. I hope someday people can see behind the curtains of what goes on with this company.
