Sparks location Office is clean and staff is very friendly,…read morehowever the therapists are very relaxed and in my opinion on the lazy side, more of the chatty side and not the hands on. At my first appointment the therapist did not read the post op report and was not aware of what was done but wanted to start therapy. I insisted she read the report prior to us doing the therapy I offered to email it to her right then so she wouldn't have to have the front desk dig to find it, in the end I had her read it on my phone. As therapy happened each week she didn't seem to know what to really do with me. she did not do any baseline measurements and she did not add anymore exercises until I told her my surgeon said she should have added several others in, at that point she says well yeah I guess do that too if he wants you to. She never stretched my arm properly as what should have happened. She worked with me for about five minutes on my most recent appointment and that was the final straw. I changed physical therapy offices and am beyond happy that I did. However I am now behind on my recovery due to sticking it out for weeks. With in one visit at the other office I have soo much improvement the new therapist worked with me for an entire hour and is really going to help me. For someone who knows no better this office will seem ok. But for your own good and progress go elsewhere where. This was my second time giving them a chance. Please be more hands on for your current patients and if you are not knowledgeable on how to handle your shoulder surgery patients do your reseach. I am just disappointed.

Michael, DPT, PT does measurements to monitor progress with our sessions. They also do actual hands on soft tissue massage at the beginning, prior to exercising with their cheerful and helpful Physical Therapy assistants. At the end of appointment offered heat or ice at your preference I'm a retired Registered Nurse and admire their professionalism, as well as cleaning of equipment.

I was walking without a cane or a walker in about 6 weeks!! Just remember everybody is different and it may take a little bit longer or a little bit shorter depend, depending on the person. Thank you Hannah!! Will see you soon with my next knee replacement.

My main Physical Therapist is Craig, but I also work with Chelsea. Kayla and Miranda are the assistants I have worked with. They are all genuine, have great bedside manners, are encouraging, and explain things very well (why, how, what I should expect, etc). The atmosphere there is also relaxing, it is full of some great equipment, and at this time of year is also rather festive. I definitely recommend ROC physical therapy at this convenient location! My son had PT at the location on Arlington several years ago, and it was really good, too. For this one, you do not need to go downtown and the parking is much better, as well. Park in front or on the right side of the building, unless you want to walk further. Patients can only go into the front of the building. This clinic is in the same building as the St Mary's Urgent Care and the ROC Express. Those are both on the first floor and are all operated as separate clinics and do totally different things than this Physical Therapy Clinic. To get to the Physical Therapy Clinic, go in the front door (as you would go to enter the St Mary's Urgent Care), but before you go in the double doors which are inside, turn right and use the elevator to go up to the second floor.
