First impressions are lasting impressions and from the very start everyone from the office personnel to the clinicians were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. Dr. Kahn's approach to my evaluations was refreshing and non judgmental. He actually took the time to listen to my medical history and then comparing old records to my newer records and then he did his own complete assessment of my medical complaints so he could form a plan of action and then constant evaluation to track my progress. In the end he has corrected long term issues that has either been misdiagnosed or incorrectly treated in the past. i have medicare and they have walkin appts. so i called for a walkin appt. they gave me a 5:15pm appt and i was happy with that (they close 6pm). they had me d/l, fill out and print up my own paperwork from their website. i came in and everybody was very cheery at the front desk and really happy. they had me fill out even more paperwork and then i was put in a room. the nurse/technician? took the time to get some history. the problem was she didn't know what certain disabilities i had were, she didn't know anything about certain meds or procedures having to do with chiro and didn't seem to read what my history said because she asked many of the same questions and when i told her they were in the paperwork she just said "oh okay!" then i was kept waiting in my room for 20mins. luckily i had my cell phone as i forgot a book. i had plenty of time to cruise facebook. when dr hahn came in, he was rushed and didn't want to hear my history, my different problems relating to needing chiro work or about my healthy living diet. he then showed me a small metal device that had a piece with a hard rubber tip on it. he told me he was going to make it pop my back into place. well, i have fibromyalgia, so this is a big problem and a flare waiting to happen. he punched my back about a dozen times all over it. from buttocks to neck and shoulders. he NEVER once adjusted my back with his hands. now call me old fashioned but i'm used to hands on treatment. after that he told me he wanted to see me 2x a week for 2wks and gave me to a massage therapist. she put me on a table with a hole for my face belly down. well, i couldn't deal with this because my back kept going into cramps. so she had me sit down on a chair laying over the side of the bed. which was fine. then she put these little disks which radiated vibration and heat. then she put hot slightly wet towels around weighted cushions over 2 places in my back for 15mins. she only checked on me once. she NEVER smiled, asked how i was doing or even spoke other than when she put me on, checked on me once or told me it was over. she led me out showing me some of their other devices, ultrasound, massage, PT, etc. she took me to the billing area. it was about 6:30pm by then. since the waiting room was empty and they wanted to go home, they were brusk, totally uncheery and rushing me out. no kind words, no hope your okay. just took my money and sent me on my way with some brochures about their services. they did call me the next day to see if i was okay. i was fine the next day. BUT 2 days later i was in massive pain every place he punched me with that little torture tool. i spent 4 more days in flare and in bed. i couldn't do anything i had planned for that weekend or the beginning of the next week. it also incited OTHER flares. i went on their facebook page and told them i needed to cancel the appt and explained why in detail. they called me up monday morning talking crap. i just told them to cancel the appt and hung up. my comments on their page were of course deleted. if you can't take some serious critique, then don't have a page or a practice. i won't be going back. read more

I love Dr. Kahn and all his staff. My entire immediate family and my fiancee go to Dr. Kahn as well. They do accept insurance (if your plans covers chiropractics) and they charge a very fair price for office visits. Dr. Kahn is very personable and educated. He asks questions and makes sure to take care of your aches and pains. After your chiropractic adjustment, you also get further treatment (roller table, massage, ultrasound, strengthening exercises, etc). I wish I could make the trip to Fernley more often. It is definitely worth the drive to go see him. read more

I have seen several different Chirorpactors in a couple different states, and was very pleased with my experience here. Dr. Kahn is very knowledgeable and listened to all I had to say about ALL the areas that were hurting. He didn't just adjust one, area and focus soley there, he educated me on the different reasons why certain sides of my body were sore, and or lacked wider range of motion. There was a little bit of a wait, but I expect that at any doctors visit, and waiting for therapy after the adjust is great because you get to lay on a rolling massage table. It was helpful that the therapists in back told me about all the types of therapy I could have there, and that I wasn't just going to be only have one type each time. Even though the office was busy, ever person there took time to smile and talk to me to see how I was feeling after my adjustment. I loved that as my visits progressed I got massage as therapy in the back, and booked a massage for an hour. That was the best massage ever! The ladies in the front office were super nice and welcoming whenever I came in, and called me after my first appointment to see how I was doing. I have sent several family members in to see Dr. Kahn and they all had the same experience. Plus my little cousin got adjusted and it helped her walk straighter. The exercises and stretches we all recieved were helpful to keep us from, pulling muscles or getting really out of alignment again. I will continue to reccemend Dr. Kahn and Fernley Chirorpactic to everyone I know! read more
