Being a chiropractor, it's always interesting to be a patient. I have no problem with the chiropractic adjustment, although I had a full blown disc was adjusted with no X-rays. X-rays would not have diagnosed a disc, but X-rays are needed before MRI as SOP. Insurance wise, I paid cash. My insurance also paid. I have yet to receive my refund and it's been well over a 1.5 months ago. I've been told "check is in the mail" more times then I'd like to recall. Overall chiropractic decent, front office less than that. I won't be returning as this is unethical and frankly insulting!! read more

Dr. Stevenson is my go-to! He's helped with my lower back, hips, shoulders, and neck as-needed over the past five years. He has a great bedside manner and is just a great guy. My husband rarely goes to a chiropractor, and definitely not on a regular basis, but has made it a point to see Dr. Stevenson about every five weeks just for maintenance. Another thing I have really appreciated about Dr. Stevenson is the fact that he has never recommended I come in more than I feel has been necessary. Actually, once he gets things settled in pretty good (two or three appointments for pretty impacting misalignments) he straight up tells us not to come in unless we feel out of place again. I have been going to Todd for several years now. He only recommends the visits that are needed and nothing more. I like that he explains what he's doing and the reasons why. Times i have asked what I could do to help my situations he took the time to show me stretches etc. I have been having lower back pain for a year and half. It had been longer than that since I have been in. (I had a change in job and just didn't make the time to go In) A little over a month ago, besides my lower back pain I ended up having upper back pain. The past week it got to where the pain was running down to my elbow on the left side. Anyways, I finally called and even though busy during Holidays I was able to be seen. Dr. Stevenson - you are a magician! On Monday of this week, I pulled something in my mid-back. I work from home, so I sit for 12-16 hours a day. Needless to say, my posture slips sometimes. I also work out rigorously, so sometimes my back acts up. Anyhow, I was doing a small chore around the house on Monday and I felt a pull in my back. It got progressively worse on Tuesday. At one point, I couldn't even sit. I felt paralyzed for a bit. It was terrible. My girlfriend called to make me an appointment on Tuesday & they slotted me in on Wednesday afternoon. I filled out some quick paperwork and met Dr. Stevenson. He described the anatomy of the back and ribs to me before going into the treatment. He pointed out how my hips were misaligned which most likely led to my back issue. He also worked on my neck and pelvis. After 10 minutes in his office, I walked out feeling 100 times better. I particularly enjoyed how he described every part of the process to me and really explained how every part of my body is connected to the other. So, a mid-back problem may be a hip problem that has extended up - it felt great to learn the true reasons behind my pain so I could try to prevent them in the future. It's now Friday and I feel almost 100%! I worked out yesterday with no pain and have been very mindful of the preventative recommendations he gave me. Totally recommend going into this office if you're feeling some sort of back pull or chronic pain. Let me start off with saying that I was not (past tense) a believer in Chiropractors. I went in with excruciating pain on a Thursday - couldn't bend over let alone move other than waddle. I was skeptical about chiropractors (because of my arthritis), but decided to see Todd based on the great reviews on Yelp What I liked most about him, is that he is not pushy. He does not make you sign a contract or require that you see him multiple times. He showed me some stretching exercises for my back. He indicated that if I am consistent with these exercises, I would not need to see him. I feel so much better; I lived with this pain for almost a year.
