Let me start by saying that I used to be a chiropractic assistant when we lived in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Ingles is wonderful (as is his assistant, Val)! Having said I used to work with a chiropractor, I was so fortunate to have chiropractic care on a regular basis as well as my family for free. Since moving to Reno, we had been dying to find a good chiropractor that wouldn't break our bank for a family of four. Last year I saw a Groupon for Dr. Ingles and thought we would try him out as he graduated from the same university as our Dr. in Ann Arbor (there are different philosophies with different universities). I'm so glad we did! The office is nicely appointed with a sitting area with Val the assistant and a partial wall to separate a larger room where Dr. Ingles does his adjustments. It doesn't buffer sound, but you do feel like you're not on display while you're getting adjusted either. He is very personable and if you have specific things going on, he makes sure to address your concerns. He also is a huge advocate of correct posture and works with you on posture as well. When I moved to Lake Tahoe a few years back, finding a new Chiropractor was at the top of my list. I started looking at the online reviews. I was looking for a young doctor with the strength to handle my weight. I also wanted a doctor who wasn't down the street at Incline Village to prevent me from going too often. I wanted a young doctor, hoping I wouldn't have to switch to another doctor down the line, like what I go thru at Renown. I decided South Reno was my target area being 30 minutes from the Lake. I did good selecting Dr. Ingles, along with Rose, his receptionist. I always seem to get the appointments I want, and I don't think I've ever had to wait for more that a few minutes before I'm on his table. I haven't been to a Chiropractor in like 20 years so I was a bit nervous. I was immediately put at ease as soon as I walked in. The receptionist was just the kind of person that can make a business successful, after all, she provides the first impression. The office was clean and inviting with coffee (K-cups) and water provided. Dr. Ingles introduced himself and I found him to be pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Being a self proclaimed cyberchondriac, I was sure I had a damaged rotary cuff....nope, neck issues (from being online too much I'm guessing). Dr. Adam is WONDERFUL!! My 3 year old daughter had hurt her wrist while playing, so i thought. The next morning I had taken her to Dr. Adam, she was not a patient and neither was I. He had been recommended to me and I never made it in to see him until my daughter got hurt. He saw her right away. He diagnosed that her elbow was causing the pain, not her wrist. He took an x-ray to confirm and then adjusted her accordingly. She ended up having "Nurse's Elbow" and fixed it with a few adjustments. My daughter was back to her cheerful self within 5 mins!!
