This is the place to go if you have pain. I had been dealing with on and off pain with my hip for a couple years. While walking my young dog he jerked me to the right and I had immediate hip pain. Then it went away but the pain kept coming back. Since I am older, I figured I would need surgery to replace the hip joint but I wanted to wait since the pain was not real bad. But recently I started having other pains that I never had before, usually when getting up from sitting and out of bed in the morning. I decided it was time to see a Chiropractor. I have always gone in the past but had one bad experience and stopped. The Reno Chiropractor I had before talked more than he worked on my issues. I used Yelp to look at other Chiropractors and Delacruz had five stars and customers don't need an appointment. I still kept putting it off wondering if I found the right one. I was running errands around town and just decided at that moment that I was going to go in. The wait was short, just two ahead of me. Filled out the papers and then got worked on with him explaining ever thing thoroughly. All I can say is that I left there "with no pain at all". The hip pain has not come back but it was a tender area and I get a little glitch from time to time. This was fixed in one visit. I was going to go back the next week for a follow up but been sick. Went to Dr Ricky for my first chiropractic visit ever! He was so professional and very informative! I was a little nervous that he doesn't take appts and it's all walk ins simply because I have a very busy schedule! But it was so easy to check myself in and I waited maybe 15 mins. He works very fast & I actually realized I prefer the walk-in system because I can stop in whenever my schedule allows instead of planning my entire day around an appointment! Though Dr.Ricky was not able to fix the tightness that I was feeling in my upper back he did refer me to a massage therapist to get the muscles in the area to loosen up and get more blood flowing. I first experienced Dr Delacruz's talent when he was at The Joint in 2014, and he gave me relief in less than 3 sessions. I didn't have a need to pursue any additional treatment until recently. Gratefully, I found him practicing at his own little spot in Sth Reno, in a lovely, quiet space that does well enveloping you in a sense that some people do care about improving another's well being. He genuinely seems to be passionate about what he does, and delivers with great bedside manners. If I could give more stars I would. A couple months ago I went here with my wife for her to get adjusted and she absolutely loved her results. We went back today for me. This was my first time ever being adjusted. I was so impressed with the peacefulness and vibe Ricky puts off that I knew I could feel comfortable here.
