My story begins as I am a prostate cancer survivor, when I first came to Ascension Chiropractic, I had extreme right hip pain as well as lower back pain. My range of motion in my right hip was almost non-existent. I am now about halfway through my series of 20 Chiropractic appointments (allowed per year with my insurance carrier) this in combination of dry needle acupuncture performed at by Dr. H. at Ascension Chiropractic my range of motion has gone from almost non-existent to nearly one hundred percent in just a few sessions of chiropractic and dry needle acupuncture. I went in with apprehension because I had had extremely good results from a gal in Danville, CA, and was sure that couldn't be repeated. Currently, my hip felt like it was out of whack and I have a pain in my back that has been fairly constant for a couple of years - helped only with Trigger Point injections. I finally decided to try Dr. Hanford. Wow! He took the time to find out what was wrong, where I hurt, what I had been doing differently, how long, etc... I walked out of there after being with him about a half hour feeling much better than when I walked in. I was warned that I might be a bit sore, and later that day, I was. Dr. Kyle Hanford uses several forms of Chiropractic care. He listens intently and answers all questions. He never rushes you out. After the first visit, I was feeling better. After the second visit, I cannot believe the change and that I can do things that I had not been able to do for a long while. Have gone to several chiropractors over the years and he is the best so far. I am disabled, have had back surgery, and have a spinal implant. He is very carefully working around those surgery spots. Dr. Kyle is so knowledgeable and friendly. He makes sure to get a really thorough understanding of what's going on with your body including things from your past you may have written off as minor falls, accidents, what have you. They can all shape how you are aligned today and Dr. Kyle will work with you to sort it out! I am currently 8 months pregnant and my midwife recommended chiropractic care for a smooth delivery. Dr. Kyle is one of the absolute best chiropractors I have ever had. I have scoliosis and got an X-ray before he ever did an adjustment, then he is very easy to communicate with as he explained what was going on and how we would treat it. The office is always clean and we are in and out within about 15-20 minutes. Always on time and prompt! He has also adjusted my young children 5 and 7 years old and was very patient and great at explaining what would happen to them. I will stay with this chiropractor as long as he is open. read more
