Very poor workmanship, dishonest, and their promise of "satisfaction guaranteed" means nothing…read more I had a doorway transition where the LVT and transition was not cut parallel to the planks nor the doorway. The carpet installer left us a 2 in overlap, because as he said "it would look stupid if I just fastened it in the current transition". Prior to hiring Floor Coverings International (FCI) to fix this, I was very specific is explaining that the project needed both LVT and carpet expertise to fix the problem. FCI assured me that the technician would be skilled in both LVT and carpet. Further, I asked if my satisfaction with the work would be guaranteed, and FCI promised that it would be. FCI required $250 minimum for any work done. Since the repair involved both LVT and carpet, I figured the cost would be between $300 and $500, so $250 minimum was acceptable. Their installer showed up on time, told us that it couldn't be straightened without LVT work, and he couldn't do that. So he cut the carpet, and placed it under the transition...took less than 10 minutes. Now we were left in a more difficult position than before, as we no longer had the extra 2 in of carpet to work with that the carpet installer had left us. I told FCI that I was not happy with the work. FCI phone call included the installer, and he told me that the problem was the door framing, and that if we were to straighten out the transition, it would look funny since it didn't line up with the door. He said the current transition was parallel to the door. I went to the house, and the installer if full of nonsense. The transition is 1/4 in off of parallel with the doorway, and exaggerates the funny angle. It could have been easily hidden under the door, contrary to the claim of the installer. I sent a picture to FCI, and their comment was "we will fix that for an additional $425, in addition to the $250 we already agreed to". While he did agree to reducing that by $125, he would not be able to do the repair within the week. I pointed out that the work was not done correctly, and that $250 for less than 10 minutes of work seems extravagant. FCI's comment: "$250 is simply our minimum". Bottom line: work was not done properly, installed lied about the problem so that he didn't have to do the work, and the satisfaction guarantee meant nothing. I will never hire this company again.

Whitewater Cultured Marble showers Overall Rating 5/10…read moreI've been living with the product for 2 weeks, and here is my honest review Master Bath. 9.5 /10 Pros: Easy to clean, looks nice and isn't cold like stone would be. The seams were done evenly and spaced to match the doors. I love the symmetry. Cons: you get water on the floor every time you use it, there is no way to completely close the doors. But not a huge issue if you are ok with wiping it up every shower. Kids shower. 5/10 Pros: the glass enclosure does a good job keeping the water in. Simple, timeless look Cons: If I'm honest, I regret this shower. I wish I hadn't used cultured marble. It looks terrible for the money we spent. First the seem wasn't installed horizontally to hide it. Instead they opted to put the seem vertically right down the middle of the shower wall. It looks cheap and reminds you of a mobile home shower. This is very frustrating because cultured marble was more than the real tile shower would have been. We went with cultured marble hoping it would clean up better than tile and grout, but didn't anticipate it looking so cheap. Second, the seem wasn't cleaned well, the glue they used is smeared on the outside of the seem and is already collecting dirt. I have tried removing it with goo gone, acetone and tile cleaner. Nothing has worked. So the seem gets more and more pronounced every time my kids shower. Third, there are chips in the material around the floor. The installers didn't try to fill them in, they were just left to collect dirt. Last, (this is just a preference ) I wouldn't recommend the plain, white floor. The white floor has just enough texture to capture dirt and already looks dingy. It'll require a lot more cleaning, I wish I had picked a color for the floor. Installation: 3/10 This is the hardest part of working with this company. From the moment you pick your colors and give them money you are over 2 months before the shower is done- so plan on not having a shower during this time. You have several steps: Step 1. They come measure the shower and order your pan/walls. Then they text you to schedule the next step 2-3 weeks later. Step 2. Installation of floor pan and walls Be sure to check if a pan inspection is required- we had to do this step in 2 parts because of the inspection. Each piece was 3 weeks apart. Once finished, they text you to schedule the next step, 2-3 weeks later. Step 3. Measure for glass. Then they text you to schedule the next step, 2-3 weeks out. Step 4. Install glass. Each step takes 2-3 weeks to schedule. They do not schedule a single step ahead of time (so you won't get the walls in and have the glass measured the next day) Each step has to be completed to schedule the next step, it was so frustrating! We started on October 1st and finished the install December 17 (12 weeks later) The second problem with install is the mess they made. I had to repair the ceilings and walls after they had finished due to scratches and dents. They also don't clean up when they finish. You are cleaning the glass, the panels, the floor; everything when they are done. They get caulk all around the unit so remove any trim etc. you don't want the caulk on . It is about 1/2 inch and isn't a clean line. I spent a couple hours removing product from my wood floors and repairing and repainting. This is a small issue and it wouldn't have bothered me very much, if I wasn't already frustrated it took 12 weeks to install.

After 4 visits and bids for the pre/fab wall type of "one-day installation" guys, we thought..."let's just get a price for real tile"...actually thinking it would be out of our budget. To our surprise it was significantly Less than all 4 other bids plus Bruno encouraged us to purchase our own tile & fixtures which was perfect & no extra markup. We shopped around for just what we wanted & got the best price by purchasing it ourselves. Bruno actually did this job himself and he is a true artist and perfectionist (in the best way)....our finished shower is spectacular and so much classier than the units they put in "flip-houses" or track homes. Bruno's father did tile work in Italy & then Brazil so he's been taught well!! Bruno communicated better than any contractor we've ever known & was ALWAYS there when he said plus he cleaned up every day to keep minimal impact to our daily lives! A tile installation will take a few days longer if done right because of drying times but Bruno made sure we understood each step. Everything started up and has been running fine for 3 years. The system works ALMOST flawlesly. April 11 2026 the system shut off at 11 am, at about 2.5 kWH output...I didn't notice until May 27 2026 that the main system breaker in the utility panel had tripped. the Enphase app says, "normal" so no alarms were sent to me. On June 1 2026 I called my Bryton Solar contact, Dylan, to seek some warranty support. After that one call, the company has ghosted me - no replies to txt, phone calls, email. Finally I called Enphase customer support and received help I needed TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF!!! June 26 2026 I dig around the web and find out Bryton Power has a SUSPENDED California Contractors License!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH BRYTON POWER!!!

Elsa and Jorge the owners came to my home to measure before the final install. They were great to work with and very fair with their pricing. They had the countertops all installed within a week of the initial bid. Mario and his crew did a great job. They installed all of the countertops in one day. Mario walked with me inspecting the work after the job, to make sure I was completely happy with it. After the initial install we wanted to do a toe kick for the bottom of our Island in the kitchen. I texted Elsa to see if she had any remnants to do this. She checked her facility and called me back saying she did have enough to do the job. 2 days later, Mario and 2 from his crew came and did the install. it looks amazing and we are very happy with Rock Solid. The King Painters were not afraid to take on these more advanced repairs in addition to taking on the two tone paint job which required much more prep. They did a great job properly protecting the windows and other surfaces from over spray and did multiple coats until the desired finish was achieved. Lester was super communicative and transparent about the process. Check out their instagram page for more evidence on how good they really are. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially given that they took on repair work that no other painter would touch. If you need to hire a painter, then these are your guys. 100% satisfied.
