Great marketing team, not much else. Really pump you for referrals. I bought an entire system in April 2023. Contract was almost too easy. They hired local labor to install the system. Everything started up and has been running fine for 3 years. The system works ALMOST flawlesly. April 11 2026 the system shut off at 11 am, at about 2.5 kWH output...I didn't notice until May 27 2026 that the main system breaker in the utility panel had tripped. the Enphase app says, "normal" so no alarms were sent to me. On June 1 2026 I called my Bryton Solar contact, Dylan, to seek some warranty support. After that one call, the company has ghosted me - no replies to txt, phone calls, email. Finally I called Enphase customer support and received help I needed TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF!!! June 26 2026 I dig around the web and find out Bryton Power has a SUSPENDED California Contractors License!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH BRYTON POWER!!! read more

It took about 8 months to get started; VERY POOR communication. This is my second home with solar panels. Officially after 2 months of the power (solar panels) being on. I have seen NO CHANGE in my SoCal Edison bill. I'm still paying $750+ on my bill monthly and now paying an additional $247 monthly to Lightreach, which is the finance company. Im officially paying MORE than before. I called Edison, and they stated I was consuming more power than the amount produced. I need to understand how no one is home from 8:30AM-6:30PM some times later, my kids play sports, is this happening!!!! The salesman is aware that I have an EV vehicle and made sure to assure us that the vehicle's charging wouldn't be an issue with the nighttime charging. I have a Tesla at my other home and have NEVER had this billing issue. I totally regret this. I'm waiting for a call back for the third time this week. read more

Bryton Power - Solar Installation Near Me

I signed a contract to have Bryton install a new solar system with battery backup and an EV charger on my house in Oct. '24. As part of that package, they included upgrading the main panel, a sub panel, and undergrounding the power supply as well as installing an EV charger. They installed the panels and battery system in Nov. '24 and then the project stalled because they didn't apply for the correct contracted panel upgrade. They argued with me that my contract didn't include those items. I contracted my salesman, who would only communicate via text and told me they were included. I asked him to send me the copy of the contract which showed this inclusions. He never did. Luckily I found the paperwork and then had to argue for the correct thing since they didn't have the correct contract. I asked numerous times to be provided with the equipment specifications for the system and EV charger and was not provided anything until the end of August when I escalated the issue. In May '25, when they finally came to install the panel upgrades and trench for the underground in May, they were not prepared to dig and they took materials and tools from my garage without permission, damaged them and shrugged when I called them on it. They rented a machine to small for the trenching job and the operator did not have experience in trenching. They were hand digging in 7' deep holes with no safety measures in place and then they destroyed approximately 20' of retaining wall because they were not prepared to shore the existing site installations. They left on a Friday, a different, completely unprepared crew showed up on Monday, took more of my equipment, leaving it all in the open trench and then left before the end of the day. They did not secure the open trench, left garbage all over the area to blow around and ended up being gone for 5 wks with a 6' deep, 115' long, unsafe, open trench. They left an open trench against the power pole and were warned by the power company to refill it as we have high winds and wildfires, and that it would be their responsibility if that pole came down, but did not rectify the situation, placing not only my home but the entire community in danger with red flag warnings that month. In trying to get this solved, the company has dragged it's feet, and refuses to put anything in writing to replace the damaged property. Completely unprofessional. I have contacted them numerous times for resolution to my damaged property and only recently escalated it to a manager that worked with me for a week and now is refusing to make good on the promised items. They are disputing about $250 of reimbursement for a system that in the end will cost me about $120K. My profession is residential construction, I know what is acceptable and what is not. Their communication is horrendous. While the wiring and install of the system is fine, dealing with this company is has been infuriating, condescending, and without resolution and not one I would recommend to any homeowner. They refuse to put the reimbursements in writing and have not provided the method to replace the destroyed retaining wall. I told them I just wanted them to make it all right so that I could give them a good review, but this last pull of the rug has removed that option. Because of this behavior I'm not sure they will even honor the service agreement for this system in the future. Pretty upset about it all . It's 11 months since I signed this contract and it's still not complete and at this point I won't allow their employees on my site to complete the power switchover until I have all of the reimbursement agreed to and in writing. Do not do the business with Bryton Power. They will text and call multiple times a day to reach you to before you sign the lease. Once you sign the PPA lease, no one can be reached. And some "Good Deals" the sales rep tell you about.. the company has no idea about it. Sales rep will no longer respond to you. The company customer service is basically useless. If I could put Negative stars I would. A Year ago, the installation of panels started, was suppose to be placed on main house and they put it on back house. Never repaired roof, and installed on anyways. Cheap brackets (stated by roofing companies I've been getting quotes on). Wires left uncovered on roof leaving a hazard to the property. (noted by the roofing companies ) Technician left without the city inspection. Battery installed too close to their other box and never fixed. Then they wanted to dig a ditch to wire it to the front house which was/is impossible due to landscaping. So it has still not been inspected. Changed the electric panel on the front house, electrician couldn't find the ground and placed another leaving an obnoxious line on the house. Again not city inspected. Job still not complete after a year and un-operatable. Customer support never answers their phone. Got access to their portal and started talking to a tech over 2 months ago about them removing everything and repairing all damage to both houses. Still no word from them. I could say more. Now placing a complaint with the California contractors licensing board. And complaint with SCE. Will seek a lawyer soon if this is not corrected. This is the one for California.... read more

Signed paperwork, came, got my panels and here we are 8 months later and still have not gotten permission to operate! The "customer service" guy Jesse is a JOKE, has an excuse for everything and doesn't complete things like he says he will. I have had the WORSE experience in my life dealing with this company. My biggest worry to have solar was of how bad of a job a company would do. and I was not wrong. This company dropped the ball on my 80 plus broken tiles of my roof it took them few calls and after a month to come by and replace broken tiles and to secure 2 loose panels from the rail. Went on the roof to inspect their work, there was more broken tiles and the whole calling customer service started again. Their service is horrible no communication with the client about the progress of the project, inspection, or even after it was active on the grid. They still waiting for the critter guard installation 3 months later. Walk away from this company. read more

Everyone I worked with before and during the installation of my solar system were friendly and professional. When I needed help, the young man who sold me the system was on top of it, went out of his way to communicate with me and facilitated communication with the installers at all steps of the installation. We live in a rural area in the Eastern Sierra of California and the installation team had to travel 4 hours to work on our system. The system was up and running in a little over 3 months from start to finish and has been working well. Bryton Power offered a choice of batteries and I selected Enphase. The equipment is all of high quality. I needed to reset one of the batteries that lost communication with the system. The technicians I worked with over the phone gave me outstanding help and I was able to reset the battery. I highly recommend the Enphase batteries not only for their quality, but also their exceptional customer service. Our system includes battery back up for power outages and it came on as promised during a recent power outage. The system has only been running about 2 weeks, but so far we are very happy with the high quality of both the equipment and installation. read more
