Had insulation and new window put in a couple of years ago. No problems with the insulation services, they were great. As for the window installation, it seemed good initially, especially for the price. Almost a year later, I found a crack in the largest window and reported it to Greenify. It was still under warranty at the time and should have been replaced. I sent pictures and contacted them multiple times but they never sent anyone out to replace the cracked window. I'm sure it is no longer under warranty now and I'm pretty unhappy with getting ghosted by this company. read more

I would avoid this company like the plague. They are incredibly dishonest, and have cost me massive amounts of money and inconvenience. First off, your solar loan payments will not "replace" your electric bill, as their salesman told me. I now have to pay both. Secondly, they supposedly sealed my ducts. I hired another company to assess the ducts afterward, and Greenify had just ignored my problem duct and not told me. They did reimburse me for the duct seal, after I complained. I would recommend not working with this company unless you are very knowledgeable about home improvement and solar already. read more

The company installed a solar system, attic insulation, and window tinting. The window tinting was done the best. No complaints or anything with that service. The attic insulation was added without care for the second entrance. They blew the insulation right over the entrance and failed to do it properly, now I have to do additional work to make the entrance usable without ruining the effect of additional insulation. The solar panel installation was done great, however, the company grossly underestimated my usage and the system is about half as big as it should be to support the billing structure their paperwork estimated. read more

I knew we were losing efficiency but during their visit, Greenify pinpointed exactly where our problem spots were, and knew of multiple reasonable options to resolve them. The service itself was outstanding. The crew communicated closely with me about time of arrival, they were extremely courteous and considerate of my wife and kids who were home while they were working, and they even performed a few tasks that were above and beyond the work we had contracted for. After the work was finished, Wyck made a final visit to our home to go over the rebates and make sure I understood how to get the most back in rebates as possible. He was very thorough and did a wonderful job explaining the findings and helping me to prioritize which ones needed immediate action. I had Greenify conduct a full energy audit initially based on an Angie's List promotion & their strong overall rating / feedback. Aaron & his team were very accommodating to my limited schedule and came out in less than 2 days to perform the audit. They were very thorough & the kind of subject matter experts you hope to find in this business. After we reviewed the audit, I began asking questions about fixes, priorities, etc, assuming I'd have to go to another company for the actual fixes. Not the case with Greenify -- they do just about everything and sub out for experts in the market. I ended up having the garage ceiling insulated (yes, there was ZERO insulation originally -- old house in the avenues), 3 external doors properly sealed & an unfinished part of the basement also foamed. Greenify did the finishing work as well (drywall + painting). Overall, I was extremely pleased with their professionalism, expertise, & the quality of the end deliverable. I hired this company after meeting with one of the owners, and reading a lot of good reviews. I do want to mention that the guys that work for this company are great, very friendly and professional. I had a blower test done before they did the work by the gas company. After Greenify used caulk and weather-stripping (for a cost of several thousands of dollars), one of the other owners came up, looked at the report from the gas company, and simply wrote in the number that I needed in order to qualify for a rebate. They did not test their work or repeat the blower test. This is a testimonial to the lack of integrity of this company. You could hire someone to do the work that they did for much less. Based on my experience, they were dishonest, extremely expensive for the work done, and I would definitely not recommend them. read more

Their Sales Manager also pushed "radiant barrier" as their flagship product and solar attic fans. When I use Dept of Energy estimates on potential savings attributable to radiant barrier (5-10% of cooling costs), with a cost of $4,043 and potential savings of $25-45 per year, it would take 90-160 YEARS to break even, ignoring opportunity costs on the investment. I worked Aaron, the owner, and it was obvious that he really cared. He really wanted to make sure we had a good experience. We got solar, the attic fan, a radient barrier, extra insulation, LED can lights, and window tint all for about the same price that other companies would just do the solar for. If you are doing the window tint, be sure you take a good look at it and know how much light it will block. We didn't realize how dark it would really be and ended up removing it, but that was totally our fault. If we had gone with the slightly more expensive lighter tint I'm sure it would have been fine. We recently purchased a silver package from Greenify Energy Savers. This package worked out really well for us. Before we called them we had only a little bit of insulation above the upstairs bedrooms and zero insulation above the kitchen and laundry room. The entire house would get very cold in the winter and the upstairs would get so hot in the summer that we would have to sleep on the couches downstairs. Our silver package included the maximum amount of insulation, radiant barrier and an attic fan. These have made a significant difference in how comfortable the house is now. We had no problem sleeping upstairs when it was hot outside and now that it is getting cold we barely have to turn the heat up to make the house comfortably warm. Aaron was good to work with.
