While Don, the assistant manager, argued with me over an item number being off by one digit--even though multiple products were stocked in the wrong area with the same description and pricing, which I did not purchase and will purchase at their competitor. When brought to management's attention, DON, the manager, continued debating policy instead of addressing the real issue. While checking out, a senior citizen, decorated Army veteran in a wheelchair was left waiting for help to load bags of salt into his truck. They called code 3 times over loud speaker. No one came to help him. The explanation given was that they "didn't have enough staffing" to help a disabled veteran. Because no employee stepped up, I loaded the salt into the veteran's truck myself. Leadership sets the tone. Watching management focus on a pricing technicality while ignoring a handicapped veteran reflects poorly on this store and Lowe's as a whole. This was not a staffing issue--it was a leadership and accountability

Well came back about 4 hours later to get that tree and it was gone! I was totally devastated, how could it be gone, there were tons of trees? Thank goodness I took a photo of that tree, we went to service desk talked to a fantastic team member Michele and she was able to track that tree down. Plus she took time to call several stores waiting on line to see if they could hold that tree because all the stores were out. Found one it was 30 minutes away and they only had 3! They said no on hold so she said don't worry, we can order it online, which she helped me do and good thing because now they were down to 2. So we hit the road to do a store pickup. This kind caring lady went far above the call of duty. She is a total asset to this store. I will recommend this Lowe's and continue to shop there. Again Thank You Michele, you could of just said no sorry none in stock but you continued to help until we found that tree. I usually don't take the time to write reviews because ... life. I am going to write one for…read moreSunshine roofing because getting a roof is costly and choosing a company is a big decision. If you don't want to read all the details, and just want to know whether or not I recommend, then the short and sweet is that I honestly cannot recommend them enough. I had nothing but positive experience and interactions with everyone involved with Sunshine from start to finish. The details. For one, let me start by saying I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. I don't know anyone , I have no vested interest .... nothing. I first contacted them in spring 2022 for a tile roof replacement estimate which they gave. We chose not proceed with the project at the time. A full year later, in April 2023 we were ready to proceed and I contacted them and asked for an updated estimate. We set up a time for them to come but before that happened I got an email with the estimate. I called was told that they didn't need to come out. They had it on file from 2022. I looked back in my house paperwork and it was the SAME estimate. Seriously! Every single thing I buy costs more than it did a year ago. People are getting canceled for HOI left and right and roofers are raking in the bucks but Sunshine roofing kept the same estimate. Still, we delayed a little and finally signed a contract June 26 . Due to industry-wide supply chain issues with roofing materials , the estimated installation was to be Oct at earliest but likely January 2024. On Aug 30, we decided to change our tile style from the one originally selected. I contacted Jessica and was told, "no problem". There would likely be a further lag time for tile but no change in $$$ amount. At the beginning of Oct, Jessica called and said our tile was in early!. She followed up with an email giving the schedule for the tear out and installation which would take 2 weeks start to finish. Every single step was explained and coordinated to eliminate unnecessary delays and work commenced on time. The tear out was quick. The tile was delivered and loaded onto my roof same day ( in two separate deliveries). Mind you, my neighbor down the block had tile sitting and taking up half of his driveway for two weeks before our roof was started. Every single day, when the roofers left my house, everything was cleaned up. No construction materials or debris lying around. I didn't find one nail ( I've lost 3 tires for neighbors roofers). Everyone was respectful of my property. Every single person on my property was polite. Every single concern I had was addressed. Work was finished on time ( my neighbor still had tile in his driveway) and the roof looks great! When they were finishing up, my neighbor brought to my attention that one of the trucks delivering tiles dinged his mailbox making it difficult to close it. ( These tiles require huge trucks with heavy loads. It was understandable ) . I contacted Jessica and she took it from there. She contacted the mailbox company my HOA uses and got a new one ordered the same day. No debating... just took care of it. So, 100%, I recommend them. I was dreading this whole process but they made it painless. Any time we had questions, they were always promptly and politely answered with explanations given in full. Any time I called the office, the phone was answered. I would recommend them to my mom, my bestie, my neighbors, anyone.
